I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful vacation rental, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The home is well-appointed, offering ample space for everyone to spread out and relax. Having two refrigerators and a pantry was great - so convenient for storing or vacation supplies.

The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the pond—both kids and adults loved it. We spent countless hours fishing from the dock (caught plenty of fish including a huge bass) and exploring the water on kayaks, making for an unforgettable experience.

The location is perfect, with easy access to beaches, shopping, and dining. Whether we wanted to enjoy a day at home on the pond, the beach or explore local shops and restaurants, everything was conveniently close by.

Overall, this rental provided a fantastic way to wrap up our summer. If you're looking for a serene and spacious getaway with plenty of activities for all ages, this is the place to be. Highly recommended! We will be back.

This magical lake house in Centerville was the perfect oasis for my family. We have boys ages 3 and 1 and they had the best time playing in the large backyard and in the pond. We enjoyed kayaking and relaxing with the stunning view. The location is great—close to beaches, restaurants, shopping and the Cape Cod Mall. The house surpassed our expectations, was clean and comfortable, and Sarah is so easy to communicate with and gave us the best recommendations. We spent a sunny week enjoying ourselves and are already looking forward to coming back!

I'm happy to write a glowing review for this beautiful place and our gracious hosts. Sarah and Mike were super kind and helpful with any questions we had. The pictures don't do justice to this beautiful home, it's a perfect getaway location for a large extended family, with lots of space and a fun upstairs area for the kids. It's right on the water, so the kids can swim and play all day with no need to leave the house. This area is a hidden gem because it's so quiet and peaceful, but only minutes away from downtown Hyannis. Even the small details - such as the firepit, kayaks, outdoor shower, and the super fun "lilly pad" for the kids to play on -were all wonderful. I can't praise it highly enough, but please don't rush there all at once because we hope to come back. :-)

We have stayed at many places on the Cape and this was definitely our favorite! It has a very open layout, plenty of room for lots of family members to stay in. The kids absolutely loved the sunroom with the hanging swing, that was a favorite for sure! There's a nice living room with a TV, a really big kitchen with plenty of room for multiple people to cook in, and plenty of bedroom space. The master bedroom feels like it's the size of a living room. The kids loved staying in the attic with a beautiful lake view. Mike brought over a Lilypad, which the kids spent hours on. We also really enjoyed the kayaks and took them out a few times. There are plenty of lifejackets in the shed. Lots of seating for people to eat or just relax. Very close and convenient to lots of restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back again!

We are a group of 3 families including 4 teens and have stayed in numerous houses on The Cape. JAW was by far the most well appointed house we've been at. The bedrooms were lovely with comfortable beds and bedding and breezes off the lake allowed for open windows while sleeping. Even the 3rd floor loft for the teens was comfortable and welcoming.
The main floor of the house lended itself to great group dynamics with the mostly open floor plan. Kitchen was well stocked and the additional pantry with extra fridge was perfect.
Most of our time while there was spent out in the yard. There were some epic corn hole games and plenty of time floating in the lake. Then evenings around the fire pit.
The owners were attentive but unobtrusive. We had tornado warnings and epic rain so there was basement check at one point for water. Mike came by and he was a pleasure to chat with. And, of course, Jack the Dog was everyone's favorite.
Overall, a very special house and property.

My family and I spent the week at Sarah & Michael's in late July/Early August 2023. Hands down we would recommend this home to anyone looking to spend a relaxing week on the Cape. The home is even more beautiful than the pictures show and the 6 of us had more than enough space. The biggest highlight of their home is being right on the water. We enjoyed the lily pad, swam and kayaked each day. You're also very close to everything Hyannis has to offer. Sarah & Michael provided some great restaurant and beach recommendations - and we really enjoyed checking in with their mom, Carol when we would see her! Overall, the house is beautiful, VERY clean and has all the amenities that you would need (pots, pans, towels, spices etc). We also enjoyed using the corn hole boards as well as both fire pits. 10/10 would recommend!

We had an absolutely fantastic week's vacation at Sara and Mike's property on the Cape! The lakefront location was stunning, offering breathtaking views and the perfect spot for relaxation and water activities (we had so much fun on the lily pad float and kayaking!). The amenities provided were top-notch, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

One of the highlights was the ample space available to fit our large family of adults and kids. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space, yet still come together for fun family moments.

All in all, it was an unforgettable getaway, and we can't wait to return to this wonderful lakefront retreat in Cape Cod! Highly recommended for anyone seeking a perfect vacation spot!

We had the best time! Listing is accurate. Everything you could need is provided. So nice to be able to leave the beach stuff home so the car is not jammed. Swam every day and used the kayaks. So convenient to get to everywhere. Could not have asked for more. Family was able to just relax and enjoy!

- 2 1/2 baths and nice outdoor shower.
- Plenty of space to spread out in main area with different sitting area's and kitchen island.
- Bedroom and bedding were exceptional, 3rd floor loft was a great setup for our children.
- Sarah & Mike obviously take pride in keeping a nice place and were super nice. Asked where we could pick up fire wood and they dropped some off for us. They also think of the small things... provided a big basket of beach towels... I'd definitely rent again! Thanks Sarah and Mike for shearing your place with our family!

Our family enjoyed a week of vacation at this clean, spacious and quiet home. This Centerville location attracted our interest as it is accessible to exploring the historic Cape Cod towns and highlights. The house sits on waterfront property at Bearse's Pond, which flows into Wequaquet Lake, with a beautiful view from the back interior living areas and all the upstairs bedrooms! There is Wi-Fi throughout the house with adequate workspace, a large fully equipped kitchen for preparing family meals and gathering for board games. We appreciated the "Welcome Basket" with information on local entertainment, restaurants, shopping and maps. It was easy to locate and drive to nearby beaches, trails, golf courses and tennis courts. The homeowners provide a shed full of boards, kayaks, rafts, and yard games with plenty of chairs and lounges for renters to enjoy! There is a gas grill and fire pit, as well as an umbrella patio set for outdoor dining. Our family had a wonderful week spending the last day all together, enjoying the abundance of options for recreation at the house, creating a memorable "Lake Day"! The homeowners communicated promptly to our initial inquiry, throughout the rental process and during our stay, enabling us to feel comfortable from beginning to end. We fulfilled our desire to reunite the family under one roof for a new experience of fun and relaxation together!

We stayed at this awesome rental for 1 week with our family of seven, and after renting on Cape Cod for several years, this was by far the BEST house and vacation yet! We chose the home because of the many amenities offered by the owners as well as its prime lakefront location. In years past, we have always stayed closer to one of the Cape's many beaches, but I decided to try something new! I am glad we did. The lake was clean and our yard was clean, well maintained, stocked, and private. We all enjoyed kayaking, fishing, the lily pad, and relaxing by the water playing one of the many games they provided; these included baseball bats/ balls and other toys as well as cornhole. Everything was provided which was so convenient; they had a gas grill, fire pit, beach chairs & umbrellas, skim and boogie boards - and most of these things were brand new. I am sure I am missing a lot of other stuff! I know the owners had fishing equipment as well!
The interior of the home was also as fantastic - it has a fabulous floorplan with many rooms overlooking the lake and was clean as can be; I even commented to the owner upon arrival how impressed we were when we arrived! The owners, Sarah and Mike went above and beyond to make sure our experience exceeded our expectations. And it did. Well - stocked kitchen included coffee and tea, paper goods and dish soap; I know these are considered small things, but they added BIG to our feeling of comfort! There was even laundry detergent provided.

The furniture was clean and in new or like new condition. Has a great style and vibe. Bathrooms were updated/renovated and overall a well-maintained house. I have been a realtor for years and have a critical eye!

The location of the home was absolutely perfect and central - again you are minutes from everything in different directions: 2 minutes from many conveniences, shops, and restaurants and a 9-minute drive to one of the best beaches on the Cape, Craigsville Best. We also visited Corporation, Mayflower and Sea Gull Beaches. All were a short distance away. We could not have been happier with the location! The owners gave us a few recommendations of things to do and places to eat, which was very helpful.

Overall the owners were extremely hospitable and made sure there was literally everything we needed to have a truly wonderful vacation. I cannot think of one thing that we could have asked for actually.

I highly recommend "Just Add Water," and I know we will request to stay at this property for our next family vacation on the Cape.
