This is my family's third year staying in Paula's beautiful home, rich with antiques and charm! We love the large yard, outdoor shower, the large patio with so much space for grilling, the landscaping - the list goes on! The short walk to the beach is perfect for our granddaughter.
The home is perfectly stocked, and I love to find treasures from the past in behind a cupboard! The laundry room is so convenient as I have had to use a laundromat in the past. Our family had another perfectly relaxing vacation! Cotuit is a gem of an historical town as well. The neighborhoods and homes are beautiful and make the perfect backdrop for our walks to our favorite restaurant, just around the corner. Paula has been wonderful to work with, and we only wish that we could stay longer!

The location in the village of Cotuit was perfect. We walked to beaches, Kettle Ho restaurant, Cotuit Historical Museum. Short drive to Cotuit Kettleers Baseball and the raw bar at New Seabury.
We enjoyed the enclosed outdoor shower and mornings on the sun room. Great for birdwatching with many bird feeders. Loved the vintage charm of this cottage.
Communication with the owner was excellent. Thank you, Paula! We would love to return next year.

6 minute walk to Riley's beach, outdoor shower and A/C, perfect combination for us!

An excellent two weeks in Cotuit. The property is quiet and very well located. In the morning a 10 minute walk up to the Cotuit Fresh Market for the paper and a cup of really good coffee. Later it was another 10 minute walk to the water at Reilly's and about 12 minutes to Loop Beach. Evenings we were off to Cotuit Kettelleer's baseball games. All in all a really nice vacation in a peaceful neighborhood. Finally, the owner is very pleasant and has gone out of their way to be helpful.

Paula's property was a quiet vacation home that was perfectly set back from the road, offering a peaceful retreat. It was close to Loop beach which made for easy daily visits using the beach pass she provided. It was a short drive to the Mashpee Commons, where we enjoyed shopping and dining. There was also many great restaurants nearby. Some of my favorite amenities of her home was the screened sun porch, big picture window in the kitchen, and the outdoor shower. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, ideal for anyone seeking a tranquil getaway.

My family and I have been vacationing on the Cape for years, and have always been looking for that "one place" to return to each year to build our memories - and Paula's 1903 house is it! If you appreciate the fine and unique details of an older home, this place is perfect! Each year I find new little treasures in a drawer or cupboard, and appreciate the over a century of time that has brought all of these little details together. The home is also beautifully updated with the addition, and the sun porch is such a bonus! Opening the sliders and letting the air in is lovely and provides a perfect place to sit and read. The outdoor space is amazing as well - seating for many and a perfect spot for grilling and dinner. We also love the beautiful and quaint little town of Cotuit. Top all of this off with a short walk to a calm and pretty little beach, and you've got the perfect vacation!

This property is well located in Cotuit to take advantage of both Riley's and Loop Beaches. It is also and easy walk to the town center to visit the wonderful library or a bit further on to the Cotuit Fresh Grocery. We took advantage of all of this as well as sailing, paddleboarding, and Kettleer baseball games. The two weeks went quickly. Having A/C units turned out to be a huge plus as the second week coincided with a major heat wave. It was really nice to be able to cool down for sleeping at night. All in all a really good value!

Our family spent a week at Paula's house, and had a fantastic time. The pictures on the listing are exactly what the house looks like. It is extremely clean and has everything you need to stay comfortably. The property is large and not too close to the road which was great because my grandkids were able to play outside safely. We could walk to the beautiful beach in 8 minutes, as well as the library, park, and the Koop for delicious food.

The house has everything you need- towels, linens, and a good supply of paper products. We really loved the screened in porch- open up the sliders and turn on the ceiling fan for a wonderful breeze! 2 power recliners in the living room would be wonderful for any older folks staying as well as the downstairs king bed. Main bath downstairs is small, so we used the fully enclosed outside shower exclusively- plenty of room and the roof meant it could be used during inclement weather as well. Walking distance to 2 small town beaches and a restaurant and equal driving distance to Falmouth and Hyannis. Nice central location for exploring.

The house is thoughtfully organized for your convenience. We had a family memorial in town and the hosts were super supportive of us hosting an informal gathering that night.
All the windows are screened and operable so you can enjoy the breezes.
Big bonus: Beach Pass for all Barnstable Beaches! Wow!
Full size washer/dryer; ample towels; terrific outdoor shower; we didn't watch but there were TVs.
Comfortable and ample seating indoors and out. There's a high quality grill but we didn't use.

Friendliest and most caring Host I've ever experienced at any rental.

The location was perfect and the owners were more than accomodating! Just a short walk to Loop beach and the Cotuit Market (which had phemomonal food!) This was a great family vacation with a couple beaches nearby to choose from. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

We just returned from a week at this home in Cotuit and brought back so many memories as my grandparents lived in this town on the Cape for over 30 years. Paula's house is everything that reminds me of the Cape! The house is homey, comfortable, walking distance to Loop Beach, the town dock, library, and Cotuit Market.

The house is set back with lots of privacy, was clean and well kept, had plenty of parking, room in the garage to store the kids bikes, scooters, and beach chairs. The outdoor shower was amazing, we never used the indoor shower! The home has all the amenities you need for cooking, a grill, A/C in the master and another in the upstairs full bedroom, but the cross breeze from opening windows at night was enough to cool the home most nights.

The 3 season porch was the focal gathering place for am coffee or games at night. Be prepared to have multiple visits each day from a family of turkeys in the yard, we waited for them each day! Lastly Paula provides a beach sticker pass so not only can you visit Loop Beach, but many of the other local favorites such as Dowses in Osterville, also provided us with parking at the town dock when we charted a boat to Marthas Vineyard for the day. Loved this house, Paula is a great communicator as a renter and we would love to return again in the future!!

This property had everything we needed for our family of 5, including 3 kids ages 1 to 7. We liked that the house was set back from the road so the kids could safely play in the yard. The outdoor shower was great and everyone loved the sun room. The best part was how easy it was to walk to town or the beach.

We can't wait to return!

Paula's house is a perfect place to spend time on Cape. The house's charm is in its convenient design and proximity to the town's beaches. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and the grill. The screened sunroom is the best place for quiet afternoon. Had great time and plan to come back next year.

This cottage located on a quiet street was an ideal choice. The home has all the amenities needed to make everyone very happy. The cottage has a very inviting sun porch for morning coffee, reading or relaxing. The bedrooms were comfortable and bright. The outside shower was perfect. We enjoyed being close to the beach and local restaurants. We hope to return next year for another memorable vacation.

I last wrote a review for this property in June 2010...how time flies. We have rented this property on numerous occasions and hope to do so again for many years to come. This summer was no exception. We had a great relaxing vacation. Cottage is located off of a quiet side road just off Main Street in Cotuit. Cottage is well equipped as noted in description, and with TVs in almost every room, everyone can watch their own shows, if they so desire! The sun room is perfect for afternoon lounging or a quick cat nap! Conveniently located in close proximity to beaches, grocery stores, pharmacy, restaurants, shopping, etc. Information sheet located in cottage is very useful and informative.

The cottage was roomy, very clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. My favorite room was the screened in porch, great place to relax and read a good book. The cottage is close to my favorite beach,Craigville Beach. The main bathroom is small, however, the outside shower is very roomy and we loved it.

This home worked out so well for our family due to its perfect location. It is near three beaches and is just a short walk to Cotuit center. It also has great privacy as it is set back from the street and is equipped with all you need for your vacation. The owners are super nice and went out of their way to accommodate us. We will be back next year!

We have been renting on the Cape for years, and this is our favorite property in our favorite town. Both the house and Cotuit are charming and quiet. Great location for the harbor and beaches. This house is an ideal set up for our family of 5. We each look forward to staying here again.

The cottage was well equipped exactly as described, with a few extras tossed in. Gardens were beautifully maintained, which made for a very relaxed vacation. In the afternoons, the screened sun room was the place to kick back and relax. With TV’s in almost every room, we could all watch our own shows. Location was good, close to beaches, country store, and short drive to shopping (groceries, wine, etc.). We had a great time and would definitely rent again.

Great vacation home, excellent access to all that Cotuit has to offer. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Location is nice and quiet with privacy.
