Quintessential Cape House/Walk to private Beach

This house and location couldn't be any better to stay at for a week or 2! We stayed with my sister, sister in law, and brother in law and wife. Each had a bedroom with plenty of beds and space. The kitchen is easy to cook in and there is plenty of space in the living room for all of us. The yard is beautiful with a big patio, table with 6 chairs, and a nice yard with grass next to it for fun games to play. The beach is a comfortable walk away with beautiful views of the vineyard and boats coming and going into the harbor. We did have my husband fill the trunk of our car with all of our chairs etc. drop them off and drive back to make it easier for us so we didn't have to carry them. Swimming in the warm ocean was great! It was very clean but bring your water shoes as there are some small rocks to walk over to get into the water! This was the perfect getaway for the six of us! There is Ample room in the house and the backyard is a beautiful place to relax with lots of privacy. It is a short walk to a lovely private beach. The beach was great for swimming, fishing and walking the shoreline. The house is a short drive to restaurants, shops, the Island Queen Ferry (which goes to Martha's Vinyard) and neighboring towns like Woods Hole making this home a great location in a truly tranquil community. We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home in Falmouth. The bedrooms are very spacious with comfortable beds, and multiple beds in each of the rooms upstairs. We could have easily and comfortably shared the house with another family. The house is all updated with modern bathrooms and even a heated outdoor shower. Since we were visiting from California, we appreciated that there were plenty of beach towels and beach chairs available for us to use on our beach days.

We loved the location - just a short walk to Acapesket Beach and an easy drive to downtown Falmouth. The backyard is lovely. We enjoyed several dinners on the patio along with games of corn hole.

The owners were very helpful with any questions. We highly recommend this home. It will be our first choice when we are back on the Cape! show more show less

Very comfortable and clean house that worked out great for our family. It was an easy walk to the beach which was never overly crowded or loud. It was very helpful having beach equipment(chairs, umbrella, cart) and was a quick ride to Main street and shopping areas. There was a small "sunroom" off the dining room which worked out well for us since the kids had their games and toys in there. Both kids and adults had a great time.
