Luxury, Serenity and Comfort await you in this prestigious Captains home with private beach access only .1 miles away. After an extensive upgrade The Mooring now offers central A/C, Cable TV, free WIFI, Apple TV, SONOS, Pandora, Sirius Radio, Integrated Audio System to make any Cape Cod getaway a special event.
As you drive into the parking area, you will see a wrap around porch with plenty of seating. The side entrance of the home is off the driveway with ramps to the kitchen door for easy accessibility. Before entering the home you can catch a glimpse of the gas grill and patio area. The outdoor shower is around the corner with both hot and cold water! The Mooring has deeded rights - just remember to bring your beach pass!
As you enter this prestigious home the Gourmet Chefs kitchen is to the right - the marble topped breakfast bar with seating for five.
Entering the kitchen you note that there is everything you need - Keurig and Regular coffee maker, toaster oven, wine fridge, double ovens with a six burner stove, two dishwashers and three sinks - in the breakfast bar island, a double stainless steel sink and an amazing deep ceramic farmers sink. Over-sized refrigerator and freezer hidden behind the barn door cabinetry!
To the right of the kitchen is a walk in pantry with ice machine and laundry center with washer/dryer. A half bath is tucked into the corner. You can exit to the back yard from this room where there's an open outdoor shower and access to the courtyard.
Continue through the entry way into the large living room, where there is a 1800’s era fireplace (non-working) and wooden bar with seating for 6.
Bedroom #1 - The Edgartown Bedroom, located on the second floor - this bedroom has a Queen size bed, TV and private bath with glass enclosed shower. This room has an interior access door that connects you to the Key West Bed room if desired.
Bedroom #2 - The Key West Bedroom, this bedroom is located on the 2nd floor with a queen bed, TV, sitting chair and interior access to the Edgar Town room are all available including a en suite bath with glass enclosed shower.
Bedroom #3 - The Charleston Bedroom has a king size pillow-top mattress, TV and a private bathroom. En suite bathroom has a claw foot tub as well as a shower.
Bedroom #4 - The Harbour Island Bedroom is tucked away on the 3rd floor of the Mooring. This room has a king size bed, TV and private bathroom. The Harbour Island Bedroom also boasts a private terrace with wrought iron patio furniture.
Bedroom #5 - The Nantucket Bedroom features a king size bed, TV and a shower. The Nantucket Bedroom has a widow’s walk balcony.
Bedroom #6 - The Newport Bedroom, is our secret hideaway room, as it can only be gotten to by way of a separate staircase near the kitchen. This room features a queen size bed, a TV as well as a private bathroom with a combined shower and bathtub. This room has a large walk in closet.
Guest Welcome Starter Bag Included: Contains 2 rolls of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, 2 trash bags, a sponge, and a starter amount of bar soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent. A few locally sourced snacks are included as well (subject to change based marketplace availability).

Dog Friendly Homes are for a Dog only. This home allows 1 dog for a fee of $25 per night. A Pet Registration form must be completed upon reservation confirmation.

Fireplaces are only available for use in the winter months with advance approval from owner.

State and local taxes are charged if applicable.
For Reservations made over 60 days away, you will make two payments - 50% initial payment with reservation and the final balance will be auto billed to your credit card 60 days prior to arrival. We accept Mastercard and Visa for payments.
A confirmed reservation is non refundable--please consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance. Ask our guest specialist for more details regarding cancel options and trip insurance.
