We spent a magical week here from July 26 to August 2, 2025 celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and this home was the perfect backdrop for such a milestone.

From the moment we arrived, the front yard presented the house as something special—an entrance that was calming and inviting, setting the tone for the entire stay. Opening the front door, I was immediately captivated by the sweeping view of the pond from the kitchen.

The kitchen itself was a true highlight. The expansive island made it effortless to prepare anything—from a simple breakfast to a more elaborate anniversary dinner. And the amenities were endless—the wide array of spices, utensils, and thoughtful touches truly lived up to the owner's promise: "I have a full kitchen."

As we moved from the kitchen into the sunroom, we were struck by a sense of vastness and peace. The view of the pond became an integral part of our week—I found myself every morning, and again every afternoon, pausing to catch a glimpse of it. That view invited my wife, Rose, and me to reflect on the moments that shaped our 25 years together and to dream about what the next 25 might hold.

Stepping outside onto the balcony, we were greeted by a large patio overlooking the serene pond. This became our favorite spot—we enjoyed breakfasts and afternoon teas there, with jazz and classical music softly playing in the background.

This home didn't just offer us a week away from the busy aspects of city life—it offered something deeper. It gave us a place to slow down, to reflect, and to create new moments of connection. It's the kind of place where you can imagine anyone—whether celebrating a milestone or simply needing rest—finding peace, inspiration, and the space to dream for the future with the person they love.

We had a wonderful stay at beach haven cottage for many reasons. The host was responsive and a pleasure to work with, the property was clean and had everything we needed to set up and enjoy vacation, and we appreciated the flexibility around our scheduling needs. We also enjoyed a tranquil outdoor shower each day!

Our kids enjoyed the "extras" like canoe rides, a guitar, and board games/toys available. We hope to return again!

This Beach Haven Cottage was very well maintained and had all of the amenities needed. The environment was so relaxing and still close to all the mid cape activities. We had 5 adults staying for 4 days and not one of us was ready to leave. Owner was very easy to work with. Would like to make a return trip soon.

I recently stayed at Beach Haven Cottage. Beautiful home and close to everything! Main Street Hyannis and Island ferry are short distance away. Best part was relaxing on the back deck overlooking the pond with friends. Host is extremely accommodating. I can't wait to go back!

I was able to stay at this beautiful home with a group of friends. It had all needed amenities and we spent most of our time hanging out on the back deck or by the fire pit. Located really close to stores, restaurants and the beach! Highly recommend staying here with your family/group of friends.

The place was extremely clean and had great appliance and cool furniture. There is also a very cool view of the water. Would definitely stay again and recommend to a friend!

La maison est magnifique et bien décorée avec une vue arriere sur un lac ou la paix et le calme règnent, j'ai aimé faire une lecture en buvant ma tasse de thé. La maison est aussi bien située proche de toutes les commodités et aussi proche des plages. Je souhaite retourner pour plus longtemps.

My family and I loved Beach Haven Cottage. It was very, very clean and beautifully decorated. My bed in the master bedroom was very comfy! My little one had a blast trying to fish off the deck (the fish had nothing to fear - my son was more fascinated by the worms). I did not try kayaking in the pond, but I appreciated that the owner left them for us to use. The cottage is very close to Main Street in Hyannis where there many tasty restaurants and fun shops. We were also close to various beaches and spent hours in the water. We will definitely love to stay there again.

Beach Haven Cottage was the perfect location for our extended, 3-generation family vacation. The home was inviting, comfortable, and clean. The pride of ownership was evident and the house was fully stocked. The large dining and living areas held all of us and gave the kids plenty of space to play. The expansive deck may have been our favorite spot though, especially in the evening. We all gathered for dinner and then stayed to play cards, games, or watch the kids run around. And the outdoor shower was hit with both the young and old alike.
The proximity to the beach and the beach pass made our daily beach time a breeze. In fact, everything we did on the Cape was within just a few miles of this home because of its central location.
The owner was extremely responsive when a small issue arose and rectified it immediately. She was wonderful to work with, as was the rental agent.
We have rented many houses on the Cape over the years but this definitely is one was our favorites. I highly recommend Beach Haven Cottage and look forward to returning again.

This beautiful home sits in a quiet subdivision on Fawcet pond! The home is beautifully decorated, very well kept propery, very clean. We had everything we needed from the fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms and outdoor deck and grill. We sat by the fire by the pond watched the geese swim, birds chirping it was so peaceful. I can't say enough about this place!! The location is awesome too 5 minutes form Main St Hyannis and also Hyannis port we will definitely be coming back!!

We spent a long weekend in this lovely home, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on its own pond in the heart of Cape Cod. The living area was all newly renovated, very clean, and filled with light that pours in from a gorgeous wall of windows in the back of the house. We enjoyed amazing sunsets from these windows while curled up in front of the fireplace in the living room!

The kitchen was well designed with everything we needed to prepare our meals at the house. The beds were comfy and every room was beautifully decorated. The roomy back deck and backyard campfire area offered views of the pond while cooking and eating outdoors or sitting by the fire.

The home's location has such a private, peaceful feel but it is also very close to lots of prime vacation activities including beaches (with a beach pass included), shopping, movies, restaurants, museums, and entertainment. We had the perfect Cape Cod getaway and can't wait to go back and stay here again!

I was extremely pleased during my stay the hospitality was great. Looking forward to visiting again on my next trip.

What a marvelous and wonderful place to enjoy your dream vacation, it gives the flexibility and easy access to explore the surrounding areas. I'd rather be in this gorgeous and lovely house than any other place, it's very spacious, super clean. Wow the water view is very spectacular and inspirational. I can't wait for another peaceful moment just to be at this beautiful house. If you are looking for peaceful place for your vacation, I'm strongly recommending this beautiful place for you with a lot to explore.

I stayed at this place for my birthday with some friends. The place was so close to the beach, extremely clean, and the owner went the extra mile to make it look so cute. I enjoyed looking at the water and eating breakfast, and I slept so well in the beds! I 100% recommend this place!!!

Beautiful and cozy rental home next to the Fawcett pond. Enjoyed the long weekend with BBQ on the deck and the fire pit out on the backyard. The beaches and golf courses are a few minutes away. Not to mention the grocery stores and plenty of restaurants to dine out.

Simply put, the home and location were perfect!

The house is beautiful very luxurious for a beach home. We felt like we were at home, and had so many amenities. The view was amazing, we had our own private lake, we were able to have a bonfire. We to cooked on the grill and had dinner outside on the deck.The home is near The beaches, shopping center, golf courses. We are Looking forward to our next day

The perfect pad
I was extremely pleased during my stay. Everything was spotless and the manager displayed 5-star hospitality. I look forward to visiting again now that I know what to expect. Next visit I plan on extending my trip.

I rented here for 3 months Nov-Dec 2020. Great spot on a pond. Very pretty home with 2 levels. (Downstairs needs to be accessed from outside. That would be an area for additional guests to sleep overnight...just no bathroom on that level.)

Main floor living area is great.. Deck outback was nice to hang out even in cooler weather. Beautiful windows and sliders off living and dining rooms to deck. For me, I would have liked window treatments for sliders and clean windows. The view is so pretty!! I think my roommate and I were first short term renters for the owner so not everything was in order upon renting. The owner was very nice and easy to work with...very responsive. I would give it a 4.5 star review, but could only opt for "4". I am taking off a bit for the lack of clean windows and window treatments on sliders for privacy.

Summer getaway
I've been staying here the past few months and have enjoyed the home.

The location is perfect. The home sits right on Fawcett's Pond with her own pair of swans. The back of the home is all windows and two sets of sliding glass doors opening to a large patio and grill. A perfect spot to have a fun cookout while guests are on the pond in kayaks.

Beaches are only a mile or so down the road, each with their own snack bars. Kalmus Beach has clambakes on Sunday nights and reservations are required. After a fun filled day of ocean water and sand, you'll enjoy the outside shower this home has to offer.

The home is so comfortable with a great gas fireplace and open kitchen with plenty of room for conversation and wine.

It's an easy walk to Main Street for great food and entertainment on our hot summer nights.

I love this place! I had the pleasure of visiting this gorgeous house! It's absolutely beautiful and spacious. The overlooking pond in the back is just fantastic and the views are to die for. Just a quick 7 minute drive from the JFK beach!
