    Nice house, great location!

    We had a wonderful week at this house. 6 adults and 3 kids; 8 year old, 6 year old and 2 year old fit very comfortably. The kids slept in the twin bed room and occasionally had a sleepover in the in-law apartment on the pullout couch for a movie night ;) The kayaks and bikes are a wonderful bonus but we didn't get a chance to use them. The backyard is perfect for grilling and lawn games. The location was great! We could walk to multiple beaches or use the beach pass to drive (and bring all the gear). show more show less

    Nice beach house close to multiple beaches

    My family and I (6 adults/4 kids) stayed in this house for a week and found it was a pleasant experience. It is a new rental this summer and the owners and the agent were very responsive ( even when out of the country) and even same day shipped some items that we found were missing. The house was plenty big enough for all of us to feel comfortable, however 2 of the children were 2 and 4 so they did not require an actual bed/bedroom to themselves. If you have older children the house is more suitable for 8 or you can use the pull out queen sofa. The beds were very comfortable and the downstairs in law apartment was a nice extra space for a family with small kids or a grandma/grandpa to have a little quiet if needed.

    The house was close to 3 beaches. Veterans Beach was an easy 5 min walk and perfect for kids as there were no waves or rocks to enter the water. Kalmus beach was a 10-15 minute walk as was Sea St Beach but you also get a beach parking pass for any of the town beaches so it was never a problem. Getting to Main street took less than 10 minutes driving and the ferries to Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket were like 1/2 mile away. The house also came equip with numerous beach chairs, an umbrella, bikes and kayaks which was a nice addition, as well an many movies and games.

    Overall we had a wonderful week in Hyannis. As this is a new rental there were a few items in the kitchen and bathrooms that could be added for more convenience or updated but other than that we had no complaints and had a blast. Everyone left happy and would definitely return.     show more show less

    We bought the house in 2021 and have enjoyed with our family and friends. We are renting it for several weeks in the summer when we are not using it and got very nice reviews.
    The house was already renovated when we got it and we added mini splits in all the house that provide both A/C in summer and extra heat in winter, high speed Wifi, and nice decoration. We fell in love with the house when we saw it for the proximity to three public beaches, the safe neighbourhood and the charm of the private back yard.

    The house proximity to three public beaches, the peaceful backyard and the charming living room with lots of light and views to the garden.
    We also love the privacy that the in law appartment can provide when family is visiting.
    The location is also very peaceful and perfectly located in an extremely quiet neighborhood, where you can safely ride bikes or walk to multiple beaches. We love that there is fun for everyone in the family from a close park to windsurfing area or kayaking. It is also close the harbor and donwtown Hyannis restaurants and shops. See map location!

    Hyannis is a village on the Cape Cod peninsula in Massachusetts. It's known for beaches like wide Kalmus Park Beach, Veterans beach, the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum and family house. At the harbor you can visit the Cape Cod Maritime Museum that has boat-building exhibits, enjoy multiple waterfront restaurants/bars, and catch a Ferry to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket Island.
