From the moment we stepped into Fernwood Lodge, we felt an immediate sense of warmth and hospitality. It's evident that great thought and care has been put into every corner of this lovely home. Beautifully decorated yet incredibly comfortable, this home effortlessly catered to our family's needs and even had room to accommodate a few extras when necessary. Every room spoke volumes of the care and attention put into it, but our absolute favorite was the three-season porch. This became our haven—a perfect spot to relax, chat, and soak in the serenity of the surroundings.

One of the highlights was the well-stocked kitchen, boasting a Keurig machine accompanied by a generous assortment of K-cups – a thoughtful touch for coffee enthusiasts like us. Our mornings were wrapped in the luxury of fluffy towels, modern bathroom amenities, and blissfully comfortable beds. And let's not forget the ping pong table in the basement – an absolute hit with our kids (and adults too)!

The outdoor space is equally impressive. The yard is beautifully landscaped and the pool served as our tranquil oasis, consistently warm and inviting, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the Cape.

Location-wise, Fernwood Lodge is a gem. We loved our leisurely strolls (or sometimes short drives) to downtown Hyannis. The array of restaurants and shops gave us a taste of local flavor, and the variety ensured that every member of our family found something to love. The beach, a 15-minute walk away, added to the charm of our vacation, offering sun, sea, and sand in bountiful measure.

What a find was this house! It was amply-sized, ably fitting all of the group. The extra room in the guest house was a bonus for people wanting privacy. We all had access to big rooms the fit everyone to quiet nooks for reading and/or catching up on email. The heated pool was comfortable and a source of relaxation. The house and guest house offered every amenity, from kitchen resources to bed linens and towels, and we all were comfortable enough to feel at home. We set out to explore Nantucket, Provincetown and the charming towns of the Cape and this home was perfect in comfort and location for our large crowd! Well appointed kitchen, outdoor grill, and outdoor space were perfect for preparing and enjoying our group of friends. The outdoor firepit was perfect for the cool evenings.

The house is more than comfortable and the stylish decor is an absolute bonus!

The location to bike trails and easy access to the ferry to Nantucket and MV were also perfect! We'll be back....next year, same time, please :-) show more show less

This home is so beautifully decorated, yet also very comfortable. Every detail is perfect and so summery. The pool is lovely and private, all amenities are up to date and easy. Location is great for walking to beach and short drive from great shopping and restauarants. Will definitely stay again. Rare find for a rental to be so well equipped and so lovely as well.

Was so happy with this rental for our girls reunion week! It is a beautifully maintained home and property—so conveniently located. The grounds are lovely with a small deck, shade trees and the pool is a bonus. We loved the decor and how clean and orderly everything is kept. I will definitely be a repeat renter!

Perfect getaway for a week or a month!

Fernwood was a great escape and staycation for our family to converge for an Easter brunch post Covid. There was more than enough entertainment space, a kitchen with everything to create a fancy brunch, serving and dining areas, a great mini bar, separate indoor and outdoor seating for guests to mingle, and convenient shopping venues nearby. The walk on a nearby beach completed a perfect day. We all had a great time at Fernwood, slept well in tastefully appointed bedrooms, and enjoyed the separate TV's situation so the kids could do their own thing.
