Enjoy an authentic New England Coastal Getaway in this comfortable, artsy, airy Cottage by the Sea.

As you arrive in Brant Rock, the temperature decreases & the distinctive salt air starts to invigorate the senses.
The 3 bedroom 2 level home is tucked into a cluster of beach houses. The rear of the cottage faces the Atlantic Ocean & the rocky New England Coastline. There is natural beauty surrounding the home In every direction.
Especially convenient location for day trips to Cape Cod, Boston, Martha Vineyard & Nantucket. Provincetown is 1.5 hours driving or take the ferry from Plymouth only 15 miles away.

The primary bedroom has gorgeous views of the sun rising & waves crashing. The other bedrooms have 2 twin beds/ 1 full size bed in another. Sleeps 6 comfortably.

As you approach the cottage, you are reminded of a summer day as saltwater roses & seagrass welcome you to relax, breathe in the serenity that the week ahead holds for you.

As you enter the cottage, the kitchen is fun, well equipped, functional, with a large center island for ease of cooking & entertainment. Seating for 6-8 in the kitchen that opens into the living room with additional comfortable gathering spots.

The first level also has a full bathroom & a laundry area. There are 3 bedrooms & a 1/2 bath on the 2nd level.
The exterior is bluish-grey with white trim. There is a picture window facing the ocean with stunning views on the 2nd level. There is an 8 foot French door on the 1st floor that allows plenty of natural light in that adds to the airy breezy feel the high ceilings provide. There is a ceiling fan in the living room and above the island in kitchen. For the dog days of summer window air conditioner units & portable fans are provided.

There is a large deck just outside of the living room’s French door . Seating for 6-8 for dining & sunning. Outside hot & cold shower. Beautiful views, steps to beach and the jetty. The jetty can be walked or climbed out to for recreation or fishing. There are small beaches at low tide, tide pools for “crabbing” sea glass & shelling.

Skywatching is a favorite pastime under the stars & waves crashing. Plan your visit when the super moon rises! The moon rising out of the ocean is a wine & s’mores event for sure.

There is a seawall for your protection between the deck & sunning area, however we have stairs that allow you to access the beach. There is also a path leading to the entrance to the beach at the end of the “driveway.''

From the house: the end of the street is one end of the Brant Rock esplanade. There are 7 restaurants within walking distance, seafood breakfast & pubs with live music. There is a nail salon, local shops, skincare & a corner market that is supersized & has everything you could ever need or want except seafood, but the local restaurants have that covered. Order a seafood pizza from Haddads & enjoy on the deck with a new ice-cold beverage. Enjoy early morning fresh baked bread & donuts from Brant Rock market, and of course fried chicken subs... the list goes on. Once you are here you will not have to leave.

If you have traveled far and would like to visit the area Plymouth, MA ( historical Plymouth Harbor & whale watching deep sea fishing trips) is 15 miles. Cape Cod is 30-40 miles. Boston is just about an hour away. Providence RI is a little over an hour.

Brant Rock has Peter Igo Park where kayaks and paddle boards can be launched on calmer water. There is a very long sandy beach 10 minutes to the north and south of Brant Rock. There is surfing, ocean kayaking, paddle boarding (not provided) all right from the cottage. Bring your bikes for a bike friendly street ride or bike path 15 minutes away.
