Description

Description

Bluefish is set well off the street in Marstons Mills on a private lane just minutes to beaches, ponds, shopping, golf courses and walking trails.

Take a short walk to Lovell's Pond, where you can launch a kayak, swim, fish and equipped with bathrooms.

Bring your boat, there's plenty of parking! This second story unit features an eat-in kitchen, an updated bathroom, a master bedroom with queen bed, and a new pull-out sleeper sofa in the living room with a smart TV. We have board games, puzzles and some books as well.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishware, silverware, and pots and pans, along with basic spices. It also includes a Keurig coffee maker. You can eat indoors or enjoy a meal at the large picnic table outside by the fire pit. We also provide a grill for outdoor cooking.

Things to do:
Mashpee Commons (large outdoor shopping center and entertainment destination) is just over 3 miles away. The Cotuit Center for the Arts is a mile away, and the Cotuit Kettleers Baseball fields are just a 5 minute drive -- amazing summer baseball watching future pros in action!!

Also, nearby you will find:
Beaches: Craigville Beach and South Cape Beach, both 15 minutes away. Kalmus Beach 20 minutes away.
Lakes: Lovell's Pond is a half mile away, and Long Pond, Santuit Pond, Mystic Lake, etc. are all a short drive. Behind us is Patty's Pond, a 2-minute walk away. There's no beach, but you could carry a kayak or canoe down to enjoy the water.

Golf courses: Holly Ridge, Sandwich Hollows, Hyannis Golf Course, Paul Harney Golf Club, Cotuit Highground Golf Course, etc. Private clubs nearby include New Seabury, Willowbend, Wianno and Oyster Harbors.
There are too many restaurants to mention, but some of our favorites are: Villagio, Wimpy's, Kettle Ho, Crisp, Sienna, Five Bays Bistro, Baxter's, Anejo, Soprano's, and Fig Tree Cafe.

A Cape Cod vacation isn't complete without ICE CREAM, right?!? We think Polar Caves is the best and it's less than 2 miles away! Smitty's is also a great choice and located just before the Commons. If frozen yogurt is your thing, Sweet Frog in Mashpee Commons is yummy too.

Hyannis is just 15 minutes away with its bustling downtown, mini golf, Massachusetts Air and Space Museum, JFK Museum, Cape Codder Water Park, a few breweries and of course, the Mall, to keep everyone happy!

We offer a fire pit for evening outside fun and corn hole to play in the large flat yard. There is plenty of comfortable outdoor seating with Adirondack chairs and benches for all! Feel free to bring other yard games, as there is plenty of space to play!

Bluefish is a perfect affordable home base to explore all that Cape Cod offers. We live in main house by the road on the 2-acre property. You have a separate driveway and parking area. Check out our downstairs unit “Sandshark” if you have a larger group and want to rent out the 1st floor 2-bedroom unit that sleeps five as well. Thanks! See Property ID 39049

    Wonderful spot near Marston's Mills
The stay here was exactly what we were looking for during our short visit to the Cape. The place was very clean, and laid out perfectly for multiple guests, as the upstairs was separate from the downstairs. This added level of privacy was an added bonus to an already wonderful place. The hosts were very responsive to all of our questions, and definitely make you feel like they are available for questions. The location is perfect and is a short drive to a large grocery store, and other cool restaurants and shops. show more show less

    Perfect Romantic Getaway
My husband and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and wanted a nice, quiet place to reconnect and recharge and still have the opportunity to do fun things. This was the perfect place. The cottage was neat, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. It was the perfect distance, (a short car ride), away from the activities and attractions the Cape is known for. We plan on returning.

    Lovely Place
We had a fantastic time. Rob and Sandra were warm and accommodating hosts who were easy to reach and very helpful. The home is tastefully decorated and served as an excellent home base with easy access to all of the things we wanted to do on the Cape and in Boston.

Great Hospitality and Opportunity to explore the upper Cape!
This was our first time renting a house for vacation. The host made it very welcoming and a really great experience! The host were responsive to any of our needs and very accommodating. Three of us stayed in this cute cottage and we all slept comfortably and were happy. The cottage was very clean and comfortable for the three of us. The kitchen was well designed and very efficient. I also liked that the kitchen, living room and dining room were an open floor plan which worked well for all of us. I especially enjoyed that there was a very large counter space to work with. I was also impressed that any of the kitchen items we needed, were somehow magically already there. Result was the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in so we enjoyed breakfasts and even dinners at the cottage rarely feeling the need to eat out. If you plan to prepare meals on your vacation, this is a great place to be. Not only was the meal prep easy, but the cleanup was also easy with a dishwasher and large sink. I should also mention that downstairs they had a TV set up and a 3/4 bathroom with a small shower. This helped keep everyone comfortable and prevented a traffic jam. This is our first time staying on the upper Cape so it was a new area of the Cape for us to explore. The host made this really fun and pleasurable as she shared some tips on local things to do. We usually stay in the Orleans-Wellfleet area, but I have to say that I am now a new fan of the upper Cape as it feels much less congested and more peaceful. This was a modest, relaxing, and lovely place to stay! show more show less

Hi! We have been renting out the duplex in our backyard for several years and it's been a rewarding experience. We enjoy sharing our beautiful property with vacationers and work hard to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. While we live in the main house in the property, you have a separate driveway and 100% privacy. The bonus is that if you need anything, we are nearby to help. We have a 10-year-old Aussie/Great Pyrenees mix, Rocky, who is a sweetheart and enjoys greeting guests. (We keep her on leash if people are afraid of dogs, however.) We love boating/beaching and look forward to meeting you!

What is special about this property?
Our 2 acre property is private and near two ponds. It was previously owned by Superior Court Justice, long jump world record holder, and silver medallist Olympian Edward Gourdine and there's a lot of history here. We are constantly improving the grounds and welcome you to walk the property and enjoy the natural surroundings.

What is special about your town?
Marstons Mills is a village of Barnstable and central to all that the Cape has to offer!
