We've stayed at many cottage's in Mashoup Village and this one was closest to the beach and Marketplace. Excellent location and great/open layout. Also really enjoyed the patio, complete with ocean views. Host was very attentive to our needs. Thanks again!

Beautiful, quaint cottage. I came here with my baby and we were really able to enjoy the neighborhood going for walks and checking out some local spots. Place is very quiet in general and only steps away from the beach! It was lovely waking up to the ocean sunrise. Although set slightly back, the place has a great view of the water. We'll definitely be back

Highly recommend this property. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Will never forget the breathtaking views of sunrise and the moonlit walks on the beach in the late evenings. The house was very clean and the area quiet and nice. They addressed all of our issues in a very timely manner.

This cottage was everything we wanted and more! The location was amazing, it was walking distance to the marketplace that had everything we needed like restaurants, shops, and a coffee place. Just a few minutes walk from a beautiful private beach which was perfect for our family with our 9 month old. There were beautiful views of the ocean from the house and patio. Really a great spot for a Cape vacation! Justin was also very quick and helpful with any questions we had.

A great week in Maushop! Easy walk to the beach and Poppy Marketplace. Bedrooms are small (so are all the other bedrooms in Maushop) but this cottage had a bigger kitchen/living area than others we've stayed in, lots of places to sit! Great views from the living room windows and patio. We enjoyed our stay very much! FYI There is an outdoor shower but it is not fully enclosed.

Superior cottage.

The cottage was adorable. It was a tad bit dated as other reviews have called out, but, that didn't bother us so much as the weather we had was great so time in the home was minimal. Easy check in - got the code and we were in! The location was perfect! Easy walk to the beach, close to market, mini-golf, coffee, raw bar, etc. Perfect for a couple or a young family - would not recommend more than 4 people staying or it would feel tight on space. Perfect stay for a long weekend.

Excellent stay! Excellent host! The location is amazing and our host was understanding with a family emergency that we had during the stay. Overall excellent experience!

Great first time visit to the Cape. Mashoup Village very quite in autumn - you practically have the beach (minutes walk away) to yourself. Took in a perfect sunrise one morning. Justin is a great host - very responsive. Found the coffee maker in the unit wasn't working on first morning and he replied immediately with instructions to access a nearby property to take the one from there. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice cottage with spacious feel
The cottage has distant view of ocean & 2 minute walk down hill to beach. The open concept LR, kitchen & dining area makes it feel spacious & bright with large windows. BRs are a bit small, but to be expected in a cottage. Shower is tight, but bathroom has washer/dryer which is a nice amenity. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans & utensils, and some herbs & spices to cook with. Dish soap & hand soap are provided, as are paper towels & extra toilet paper. The large LR TV offers many cable channels. We only had a few minor issues. Directions should tell people that the entrance code goes into black box on the door & not the white box that's to the left of it. The TV's in BRs seem to offer just a limited number of free TV programs, plus Netflix & Hulu, for which a password or sign-on is needed. There are 6 or 7 different remotes for the 3 TVs & no directions as to which TVs they go with or even if we needed to use all of them. At night, outdoor lights from neighboring houses shine into bedroom windows, which have blinds, but lights still illuminate the windows, so if you need a really dark bedroom to sleep in, you won't find it here unless you bring black-out curtains or an eye mask. All in all, we thought it was a nice little cottage in a quiet, well-maintained village.
