Cute Cape with private community beach

Can't believe this is our sixth year! Had an amazing 2 weeks, catching up with family and friends, walking, beaching, and eating way too much ice cream. All made possible thanks to all the amenities in Dee and Henry's lovely home. Can't think of a thing to add or change. Just perfect.

The house was exactly as advertised. It actually is bigger than the pictures portray. The location can not be be beat. 2 minute walk to the beach and the marketplace. If you want to enjoy a vacation where don't have to leave the area, this is the place. Everything you need for a great vacation is within walking distance.

We had a lovely vacation. House is beautifully appointed with all those original paintings (two of which are of the owner's own sailboats), cookbooks and lots of dishes and pots and pans to cook plenty of seafood. Benches on the top of the staircase to the beach are so suited for stargazing and sunrise watching. August is a prime time for Perseids and we caught a couple of a big fat falling stars. Owners are extremely responsive. Internet is a little slow, but this is the Cape, who needs Internet when you have a beach at the end of your street? This location is so convenient, we had two rainy days but barely noticed with all the other activities available at the Market Place and Mashpee Commons. Don't miss $1 oysters at the Raw Bar on Mondays and Tuesdays 4-6pm and huge lobster roll every day. Green Pond Fish market in Falmouth has the freshest cod and scallops. show more show less

Such a fabulous place! Perfect location. Easy walk to a great private beach. Quick walk to the Marketplace for coffee, lobster rolls, pizza, tee shirts, souvenirs, listening to a concert. Great place for jogging, walking, biking. Property is thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Very clean and comfortable. You can have quiet time on the back deck or entertain with ease. Thank you, Dee and Henry, for an amazing week.
