My family has been spending summers on Popponesset Island for forty years. We live and work in Mashpee and decided to completely renovate our family home and offer it for rent. We want to share it with others who wish to create lasting memories for their family and friends. The dock allows direct access to all the best boating that Cape Cod has to offer and is also particularly good for kayaking, paddle boarding, or canoeing. Easy access to fishing and beaches. My wife and I live less than 1/4 mile away from the house and can offer lots of local information.

What is special about this property?
Popponsset Island is a unique place on Cape Cod. The New Seabury marina has a boat ramp and gas dock and is in the neighborhood less than a quarter mile away. The marina also rents kayaks and paddle boards and has charter fishing. Our house is a classic post and beam house that is very open and great for entertaining. It has a covered cabana with direct access to the kitchen through a large, sliding window with a countertop bar.

The handicap accessible features accommodate elderly guests very well so all generations of family members can feel comfortable in the house.

Popponesset Island is located in the neighborhood of New Seabury. Beaches, restaurants, mini golf, bars, golf courses are all part of the attractions. It is a great neighborhood for excising with bike paths, walking trails and a friendly, casual group of residents who all have one thing in common, we love spending time here.
