Decorator designed, this smaller, more rustic Southside has all amenities in 3 bedrooms and 2 baths (2 Queens and a 1/2 Trundle in 2 upstairs bedrooms, a twin trundle in the downstairs bedroom...and a Double Sleeper Sofa in the living room). There is a full bathroom on each floor.

Amenities include: ALL linens, dishes & cooking utensils, WI-FI, Cable TV & CD Players, Games, Toys & Beach Equipment, BBQ and Picnic Tables.
<br /> There is also a local Manager to assist tenants as needed and an interim cleaning service available at Guest"s expense if desired.<br /> NOTE: At the request of previous Guests, a mandatory $125 Vacating Cleaning Fee is now required to insure a consistently high-quality standard of sanitation, cleanliness and inventory between Guests. This also allows our Guests to enjoy the last days of their visit without having to spend time doing laundry and cleaning of the premises. <br /> <br /> This site is ideal for families, with a beautiful beach only 20 steps from the front porch.     Another wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We want to steal the porch!

    We had a wonderful time. The place was so nice and clean. Airy. Bright. Again, we rented the entire house. Plenty of room, especially on the north side, to spread out. The lil beach in the front is great for the littles to catch the hermit crabs and stroll along. The 3min walk to the main beach is great. Not crowded at all! The restaurant at the pier is awesome and the entertainment, free, on Wednesday was great. Of course not having to deal with bridge traffic to go home is great. Even during the week to head further into the Cape was a breeze. I highly recommend staying here. The owner is wonderful to do business with and her management team keeps the home looking great. We are already looking forward to next years vacation! show more show less

    We stayed at this beautiful home. We rented both sides as we had quite a few of us. It was such a great home. Plenty of room for us all. We were a group from ages 83 - 18months (11 in all) and it was wonderful. I have never stayed at a place that was so fully equipped with everything you need. Which makes for a really stress free vacation. Having the cleaning service is great but we kept up with our laundry, thank you for the washer and dryer. The home is beautiful and we all want to take the porch home with us. So wonderful sitting on this expansive porch and watching the boats the bay is great for kids. Plenty of hermit crabs and crabs. 2min walk to the bigger Onset beach. Again perfect for small children or anyone. So close to everything. Would I stay here again! YES! I am hoping we can book again for next year!!!!Thank you to the owners for allowing us to share this wonderful home. show more show less

    We stayed at this property for a week with our 3 children. We spent a lot of time on the generously sized front porch looking at the water views. Many passerby's from the neighborhood were kind and engaging when we were out on the front porch. We enjoyed the easy access to the water and to the town. The homeowner was kind and promptly responsive to my email inquiries. We would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to spend some quality time with family.

    Wonderful beach front vacation!

    We just spent an amazing 2 weeks at this lovely property. Literally ON THE WATER! The property was clean and EVERYTHING was provided by the owners (linens, towels, cleaning supplies). I had coffee on the porch each morning watching the boats come and go. My 3 children (5, 11, and 14) had a blast! We brought bikes and could ride all around the neighborhoods, walked to ice cream (just about every night), concerts/movie on the common. We walked over to the "other side" for a larger beach area.     This historical 1880 original Victorian Boarding House was bought and renovated by Los Angeles-based designer and family-owned property management company in 2014.
    We have local management and take pride in keeping the property to the highest standard of repair, cleanliness and charm.
    Our family has successfully owned and managed small, exclusive properties in California and Massachusetts for the last three decades. Our standard is that each property is one that we ourselves would want to live in and/or vacation in ourselves. It is this high standard that brings the majority of our Guests back every summer, although we always welcome new vacationers as availability permits.


    What is special about this property?
    It retains its historical 1880 charm of high ceilings, big sprawling front porch, interesting nooks and crannies, etc. while still being updated to all the contemporary comfort and amenities.
    Its location just a few steps from a small, quiet beach make it ideal for families to spend leisurely and peaceful days, while the western-view over the inlet provides amazing sunsets while relaxing on the big front porch, equipped with tables, chairs, rocking chairs and even a Lifeguard Stand.
    It's a very special property that many of our Guests return to as a ''tradition'' year after year.
    Since the whole house can sleep up to 18 people, it is often the site of ''Family Reunions'', as well as ''Wedding Parties''.

    What is special about your town?
    Onset, at the base of the Cape Cod Canal, is an old Victorian Village with all the charm of same. Small shops, cozy restaurants, friendly people as if you had stepped into a Norman Rockwell magazine cover.
    At the same time, there are all the major stores and conveniences just a few minutes drive away on the busy Cranberry Highway, with malls, restaurants, water slide and miniature golf attractions. Amidst this are numerous charming antique and souvenir shops as well. The Mass Maritime Academy also makes its home base just a few minutes away in Buzzards Bay, and there is a public golf course just down the road from the Village.
    This area has all you could want for a Cape holiday, but without waiting sometimes hours to go on the outer Cape over the only two bridges leading over the Canal.
