    This is a wonderful beach house and you cannot find a kinder, nicer person than the owner, Lauren! The house is perfectly appointed for families and steps to the beach. Lauren has thought of everything and makes you feel like part of her family. The Hospitality of the Year award goes to --- LAUREN!!

    Beautiful house close to the beach. Everything you need to relax and enjoy vacation. Large house, plenty of room, kitchen with all the amenities. Bedrooms are large and comfortable. Lauren was a great host

    Beautiful, relaxing vacation home

    Lauren and Chet are wonderful hosts. We return every summer, now with grandkids, and enjoy every moment. Our "home away from home" in beautiful Onset, just a few steps from the beach, has every amenity possible. From checkers to books to bikes to cable to wifi to kayaks to luxurious linens....Great kitchen too if you plan to cook a bit. There is ample room for three generations to spread out, tasteful outdoor space and a cozy, state of the art environment. Looking forward to returning...Onset is great getaway and this home is superb! show more show less

    Perfect!
    We stay here every year as a mid-point stop on the Cape Cod Getaway for Bike MS. The owners are wonderful and provide perfect accommodations for our weary cycling team. The house is super clean and the sleep number beds are great! The house is literally steps from the bay in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views. We look forward to our stay every year!!

    Lovely home in beautiful Onset!
    Our family stayed at this Onset Bay home for just over a week, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The house was immaculately clean, and very well furnished. We traveled from out of state so could not bring anything with us. It wasn't necessary as everything we needed was there, from beach towels, chairs, and toys, to linens and toiletries. The owners even had two kayaks equipped with life jackets that were available for our use. This was a lot of fun as Onset Bay is perfect for kayaking or sailing. The beach is literally just steps away, which makes it easy to come back to the house for lunch, and then head on back to the beach. The owners were terrific to work with - providing suggestions of things to do in the area and doing everything they could to make our stay even more enjoyable. The house is spacious with plenty of room to spread out. Highly recommend! show more show less

    My parents took a wrong turn heading to the cape and ended up buying a 'cottage' - more like a shack- in Onset. Some of our happiest memories as kids were of running wild at the beach or in town.

    After years of visiting with my own kids, I finally found my home in Onset. Our house is available for select weeks, so you can come see why Onset owns my heart!

    What is special about this property?
    Our house is bright and roomy, I love the high ceilings.We chose the colors and furnishings to be comfy and casual.

    Since buying the house in 2013, we have put a great deal of work into making it feel like home. No surface went untouched. Biggest, newest project: we added a front deck overlooking the bay. The appliances and counter are new, as are the carpets, the back deck and yard, interior and exterior paint and the basement, where we stay.

    The basement apartment, is occasionally available, if you need extra room. Please ask!

    What is special about your town?
    Onset is a hidden gem offering beautiful beaches, friendly people and a laid back way of life. The best pizza around is also an easy walk into town.

    Come and discover Onset for yourself, but don't tell anyone else. We like the low-key vibe.
