Office area, play area. Close to beaches and Cape Cod attractions. All you need for a perfect time on the Cape!
Comfortably sleeps 10-12 adults.

Our Cape Cod house is located in a private, family friendly association in Pocasset, a couple of miles South of the Bourne Bridge. The house sits on a small peninsula reaching out into Buzzard's Bay, approximately 65 miles from Boston. It's only 100 yards from a private association beach, 3 miles to Monument Beach, and 5 to Old Silver Beach.

The house has been thoroughly remodeled and extended in 2018-2019. We installed a new kitchen, new appliances, new bathrooms, new AC units upstairs and downstairs, hard wood floor thorough the home, and added over 20 windows to let the sun fill the rooms...

On the first floor you can enjoy an open area with a gourmet kitchen, a dining room area with a dry bar and a sitting area. The kitchen offers granite counter tops and is fully equipped with elegant tableware and new stainless appliances. The first floor is completed with 2 bedrooms (each with a Full bed and a 1/2 bath) and a powder room. The ground floor also has a laundry room. A large patio with outdoor furniture, a grill, a fire pit, lounge chairs and a large and comfortable outdoor shower is accessible from the living room, master bedroom and laundry room.

The upstairs includes 3 large bedrooms, an office area and a playing area. The first two bedrooms are equipped with 4 twin beds and a Full. The two bedrooms share a 1/2 bath + a powder area.
Separated from the rest of the home by the playing area and the office space, the newly built Master bedroom has sea view, a full bath and a separated closet.

The house is located in a quiet, family friendly association about 100 yards from the association beach and is situated next to a double tennis court. This is a child friendly area with local traffic only. The association beach is perfect for young children with a gentle slope and small waves. If you have a boat, there is an association dinghy dock that you can use (subject to the association rules and limitations : up to 10 ft dinghy, no overnight). Bassetts Island is a short boat ride and offers lots of beach and water activities options.

    Fabulous Home

    We brought our family of 4 adult children with a few significant others for a total of 8 people. The house was more than comfortable with the space and all the rooms. There were plenty of supplies from toilet paper to plates and silverware. In addition, the house was so clean! The homeowner was very accommodating and easy to work with.
    We have rented many homes in this area and this was our favorite!

    Wonderful modern retreat

    The house is decorated in a modern style with large open spaces rather than filled to the brim with furniture, which made for a peaceful escape. There was plenty of space on the couches for our family of 5, and my kids especially enjoyed the upstairs area with large desks (as they are really into their computers, even if on summer break!). The wifi was great.

    This is a newly remodeled house with a gorgeous, brand new kitchen. The house was spotless and very spacious, and the air conditioning is outstanding, as are the flat screen TV and sonos sound system. The house is on a cul de sac and part of an association with tennis courts and an association beach which is virtually private (we were the only ones there on multiple occasions). There is also a larger, more sandy beach just a few streets away (on Circuit Street) where it was also easy to social distance. The beaches are a little rocky, so swim shoes would be helpful, but the coves were peaceful and the water was delightfully temperate and even sometimes warm! (not always true on the Cape). We had not set up any boating, but there is a marina nearby with easy access to boats. The road and also nearby streets were great for lovely walks with intermittent views of the water.

    There were plenty of towels and sheets, dishes and pots, and also puzzles, games, and books. We had brought our own food, but there were some cooking supplies available had we wanted to use them. We used the firepit twice to toast marshmallows, and there was a woodshed filled with wood to use. The owner was very responsive to our questions and even emailed a list of their family's favorite Cape activities. We stayed here during COVID, and social distancing was very easy. We highly recommend this house and would stay again.     show more show less

    We are Niki and Marc-Antoine and we purchased this property for us in 2011, as our family vacation home on Cape Cod. We are the primary users of our home but gladly share it with others during a portion of the Summer.
    Our kids have grown and are teenagers now, we needed to adjust the home to this new reality.
    We spend two years planning and executing the remodel of our home to ensure everyone could enjoy the home even more, providing 5 generous bedrooms with space for family and friends, but with also some privacy for everyone.
    And we think we achieved our goal.


    What is special about this property?
    The home is located in a family friendly neighborhood. All the homes around us have been recently remodeled and the neighborhood is really enjoyable;
    Evening ritual includes being around the fire pit and roasting marshmallow. A fantastic time to share the good moments of the day.

    What is special about your town?
    Pocasset is one of the first town on the Cape. It is very easy to reach. it is very conveniently located off Route 28A, easy to reach yet recluse.
    Basset Island is a great place to hang out if you have a boat. The area is quite protected from the winds.
    Most of the Cape attractions are a short drive away: Falmouth, Martha's Vineyard, Hyannis, etc..
    At last, there are many golf courses, beaches and other activities to do around us.
    A great place for the vacation.
