This house was perfect for my family's stay in the Cape! The house was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed. We brought our 1.5 year old and the house came with a pack and play, high chair, and stroller. It was great! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook at home or have a bbq in the backyard. A few blocks from the beach and close to the Marketplace. We'll definitely be coming out again!

This is our second year staying here and for good reason. We have two kids, 6 and 2, and this house is the PERFECT setup. We never have to drive anywhere because it's only a 2 minute walk to the community center, 6 minute walk to the beach, and 20 minute walk to the marketplace. The community center has family Bingo nights on Wednesdays and $5 crafts on Tuesdays and Fridays. They also have a little store where the kids can buy treats for $1. Everyday they have games and sports from 9-11am and if your kids aren't into that there is an amazing playground packed with kids to play with. The Spit offers two beaches in one with one side featuring a calm bay for the Littles to splash in, learn to swim, or catch fiddler and hermit crabs. The opposite side is only a quick walk across to and will keep your kids occupied for hours jumping in waves, building sandcastles, and collecting shells. The marketplace features two restaurants, a coffee shop, mini mart, ice cream, toy store, candy store, mini golf, liquor store, and a handful of touristy shops. They also have live music 4 nights a week. And again the place is packed with kids for yours to play with. The house itself is well setup with an open area between the kitchen and living room so the kids can stay in sight. There's a toy chest and closet filled with games. The backyard has a firepit and two swingsets which my children practically lived on when were at the house. Bruce and his wife are wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcomed. They made our kid's T shirts and left us stuffed quahogs, a gift basket, and beach pails. We definitely will be back.

I have stayed at this Popponesset Beach Cottage for multiple years, and every year has been delightful! A short walk to a private beach, the cottage is impeccably clean and extremely well maintained. The owners are wonderful and extremely helpful.

The beach is private, never crowded, and great for families. You can swim, walk the beach, or just sit and look at the ocean. The cottage has a relaxing deck and backyard firepit. It's a short walk to the marketplace or to the Popponesset spit. It's my favorite vacation place!! I highly recommend this Poppy cottage. I am always relaxed and happy when visiting!

We just returned from a glorious two week vacation at Bruce and Norma's home and we couldn't have been happier. The home was immaculate and welcoming. The location can't be beat, just a short walk to a beautiful beach. Bruce and Norma were wonderful hosts and the stuffed quahogs were a treat! Communication was great. We will definitely be back!

Bruce & Norma's cottage provided us just what we needed after a stressful 2 years. This was our second time to the cottage and this time was even more magical than our first. Bruce & Norma's personalized hospitality is second to none, and helped us to create beautiful memories that we will treasure for years to come. We can't wait to come back!

This is the 2nd year in a row that we rented this home for Mothers Day weekend! The house has everything needed.

We had a wonderful family vacation here! We loved it and can't wait to return. It was amazing to walk a few minutes to the beautiful private beach, which has breathtaking views of the ocean. Bruce and Norma are really hospitable, and even made us a plate of stuffed quahogs for Christmas, which was an amazing treat. The house is set up really well for kids- our daughter loved all the books and puzzles- there was plenty to keep her busy for the 2 weeks we were there, and we could have easily stayed longer (and would have loved to). Also on top of everything, the house has swings in the backyard and there's a playground a minute's walk away. It was really perfect.

Our family rented this house again this year for the week of Thanksgiving and once again, the owners were hospitable, respectful, and helpful. The house was immaculate upon arrival and we had everything we needed for a comfortable, fun week. The closet full of board games is perfect for our family to spend time together. The beds are comfortable and linens are provided.

The house is sunny and bright even in the winter. We enjoyed daily walks to the beautiful beach and got weather nice enough that the kids played in the sand.

Bruce and Norma, the owners, are more like old friends who welcome us back year after year in a friendly and warm manner. They left us a gift basket which was amazing and contained everything we needed to have a fire in the pit out back along with T-shirts made specially for our children! They loved them!

We have been renting places on Cape Cod for over ten years and have never had the level of hospitality that these owners provide. We look forward to going back again next year.

Bruce and Norma set the standard for hospitality. They are very thoughtful and attentive hosts. We arrived at the cottage and were pleased to find a clean, welcoming cottage in a peaceful neighborhood. The cottage is a short 6-7 minute walk to a beautiful sandy-bottom Nantucket Sound beach. People in the neighborhood are very friendly and polite. Poppy is a real gem.

This was our first stay at Poppy, and we couldn't have been more thrilled! Family-friendly community; the kids made immediate friends and enjoyed lots of activities at the Community Center around the corner.

The house has EVERYTHING you need; just pack swimsuits and flip-flops! Games, puzzles, books, indoor and outdoor toys - the swingset was a huge hit! 5 minute walk to the beach; 20 minutes to the Marketplace; we really didn't need a car at all!

Bruce and Norma are lovely; the kids have t-shirts to remember their stay, and they loved the sand toys as well. S'mores, snacks and wine for the grown-ups was an unexpected treat, too! We can't wait to return next summer.

As return vacationers we were happy to spend two wonderful weeks at Poppy on Uncle Edward's. The location and set up are terrific. The communication with Bruce is always prompt and helpful. Looking forward to coming back.

We have been staying at this house in Poppy for years and I can't say enough positive things. We had a great time with our kids and dog. Fun campfires in the yard and relaxing days at the beach. This has been the best place on the cape to go for a family vacation. We'll be back next week.

This was my 5th year staying at this wonderful Poppy Cottage!! It's immaculate - and warm and inviting. A short walk to the beach makes it a perfect vacation destination. You can easily walk to the marketplace. The owners are great. It's a fabulous vacation experience!! It's my favorite week of the year!

We have been renting the week of the 4th with Bruce and Norma for 5 years now. And we will continue to do so as long as they will have us! Poppy Cottage is truly a huge part of us now and consider it our home away from when we stay.

When you stay in their cottage, you will arrive to an exceptionally clean home with everything you need at your finger tips. Norma goes above and beyond with thoughtful welcoming baskets for her guests that are tailored to each family. And I can't forget about Bruce's "stuffies" I look forward to them each year!

There is so much to do while you are here, whether it be walking to the "Spit", riding bikes, dining and shopping at the Marketplace, events at the Community House or just enjoying each others company by the fire in the backyard. We always leave happy and rested!

This year it may have been a rainy week, but that does not deter us from enjoying everything Poppy has to offer us! We are so glad we found the Hartwell's 5 years ago, and look forward to many more years to come!

I wasn't sure about staying in Poppy, it was our first time in this area of the Cape. I am so happy I did! I have fallen in love with this place. I was so sad when I had to leave.

The walking distance to all of the beaches is amazing. I really enjoyed the journey around the spit discovering all of the wildlife along the way. While riding my bike around the neighborhood I was greeted by so many friendly, welcoming people.

I enjoyed visiting the resident turtle at Dean's Pond, he was so cute patiently waiting for someone to share a snack. I look forward to returning to Poppy. Thank you Bruce and Norma for your wonderful hospitality. It was a great start to our summer!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We have family that live down the street & wanted a place where the rest of the family could come and celebrate our Mom! The home offered all the comforts of home.

Enjoying the fire pit was a great addition for us all to be together. I can't think of anything that wasn't there. I would highly recommend!!

We have been renting this house for the past three years for the week of Thanksgiving and it is always, without exception, fantastic. The owners, who act more like gracious hosts, are responsive, kind and always make our family feel welcome. We've never stayed anywhere else who provides such personal service! Upon arrival, we found a welcome basket with goodies for smores, personalized shirts for each family member, and other treats! In the freezer, there were delicious, home made stuffed quahogs! The home itself if immaculate, has tons of board games our kids love, and is beautifully decorated. Our family loves taking walks around the neighborhood to the beach where, despite the chilly weather, the kids love to play in the sand. For us, this is a gem of a place and we look forward to staying every year! There are only give stars to give but really, this place deserves more!

We spent a great week at Bruce & Norma's beach home! The cottage was very clean upon our arrival and we were welcomed with a gift basket full of goodies for the whole family. Poppy Beach t-shirts for our kids, a kit to make s'mores and wine for the adults. What a nice welcome! The cottage itself has everything that a family needs to enjoy a beach vacation and was roomy enough for our family of 5 and dog friendly. We also liked how close it was to the beaches. The area is beautiful and we hope to go back soon!

We had a great week in Poppy. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The clubhouse is very close, and the Spit is an easy walk. Our hosts left an amazing welcome basket for us too – beach toys, smore fixings, wine, a personalized t-shirt for our son, and even a boogie board! Bruce dropped off homemade quahogs for us to try and was always available to answer questions. All in all a fabulous stay!

Whether you are looking for the quiet day at the beach ( walk to the Spit in 5 min) Great food and shopping.. ( the Marketplace within the neighborhood or Mashpee Commons) You have it all minutes away. You cannot go wrong.

We will keep returning to spend our 4th of July in the Poppy Cottage, as long as Bruce and Norma will continue to have us!

We rented from Bruce to accommodate family in town for the holidays. The house was great - everything was as advertised. It was very clean and comfortable and well appointed. Bruce was very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend the house and would have no reservations about renting the property again in the future. Bruce and Norma truly make you feel welcomed in their rental. From the welcome basket with personalized shirts for our kids, to home-made quahogs left on our doorstep, these are the best people by far we have ever rented from. We hosted Thanksgiving at Poppy and it was perfect. My mom is local and has Alzheimers so a small, quiet holiday was perfect for her. There was a lot of laughter and our kids enjoyed the board games and Disney movies. We enjoyed Poppy very much and loved walking to the spit in the mornings. Bruce and Norma's hospitality is unlike anything we've ever experienced and we have been renting from various places on the Cape bi-annually for over fifteen years. The house itself is immaculate, very well maintained, and very comfortable. We hope to rent from you next year for the same week!

Had a great week in Poppy. Our hosts could not have been more gracious. They left us with an amazing welcome basket and responded within five minutes to any minor issue that arose.

The cottage is comfortable and the A/C works well to keep cool. Great backyard for kids with swings set and toys. Security deposit was returned in less than a week.

We stayed at Bruce and Norma's house in Poppy for the third year in a row. It has been the perfect beach getaway with our two young kids and dog. Great location, clean house, awesome yard with fire pit.

I enjoyed a wonderful week at this adorable, charming and inviting beach house at Popponesett Beach! This home is the perfect place for a vacation week at the beach - meticulously kept up, easy walk to the beach, a wonderful deck with a grill and all amenities. The homeowners are gracious hosts, making sure their guests have everything they need and keep the house in excellent condition. They are always available if there are questions throughout your visit. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, and cooking utensils. It"s a relaxing beach atmosphere and the homeowners have extra chairs and beach accessories for their guests. It"s a short walk to the marketplace. I loved my week at this Poppy cottage!

We arrived at Bruce & Norma's beach house to a welcome basket full of s'mores fixins, potato chips, a card for our anniversary, and a bottle of wine. They had made personalized pails with shovels for the kids, a personalized treasure box, and personalized t-shirts, and also included toy boats. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine that level of thoughtfulness from people I had never met!

It rained a bunch during our visit, and Bruce would text us ideas for places to take the kids to keep them entertained. He even stopped by to drop off some of his homemade stuffed quahogs that he caught himself! Sweetest people ever!

The house was light and airy. The deck was great for nightly cookouts, and the firepit was magical. My kids loved the swing set and mini zipline in the backyard. We loved the playground down the street and walking to the beach every day. It was beautiful! We loved that we had a choice of going to the ocean or the bay. It was a perfect vacation, and we hope to return next year! Thank you, Bruce and Norma!

We were in town for a wedding down the street in New Seabury and had a great experience here. The house was everything you are looking for, some outdoor space, space to hang out indoors if the weather is off, and cozy bedrooms. They were great hosts that were willing to be available at every turn, and also provided great recommendations and kind gestures upon arrival. Will stay here again if we are back in the area!

My family (2 adults and 2 kids ages 4 and 7) rented this cottage for the week of Thanksgiving. Not only was it impeccably clean, well appointed and sunny, there was a welcome basket waiting for us on the table with personalized shirts for the kids, local goodies and s'mores supplies for the fire pit. Bruce checked in with us in advance to see if we had questions and gave us family friendly recommendations. They were available, professional, respectful and kind.

The beach is about a 5 minute walk. We had great weather and were able to play at the beach for a few days. The beach itself is expansive, clean and gorgeous. The neighborhood is child-friendly and quiet. The backyard has a swing set, fire pit, horse shoes, and a mini-zip line which our kids loved. There is a small playground at the end of the street. There are lots of board games and Disney movies to choose from- perfect for family time. We had an overall excellent experience with the renters and with the cottage. I would very highly recommend this cottage and renting with Bruce and Norma!

Fantastic house with all the pleasures of home (but in a more exotic location!). The ocean and a gorgeous beach are just a short walk from the house. Cleanliness was top-notch and the overall feel is very welcoming. Bruce was very friendly, approachable and attentive with any questions we had. This house made it easy for us to get right into the relaxing carefree time of our vacation. We’ll recommend this house to friends who are looking for a quiet spot to vacation and enjoy the ocean. Another plus is the proximity to local restaurants, spas, movie theaters, the best lobster roll in the world #therawbar, and grocery stores. (All under 10 minutes drive).

Our famaily loved the cottage. From arrival, Bruce and Norma were great hosts! From an amazing arrival gift basket, to Bruce letting me borrow his clam basket and rake, Bruce and Norma did everything to make our stay in Popponessett a memorable one.

The cottage is well equipped with everything you would need for the perfect beach day! This was so helpful to us as we were coming with a 6-month old and were already short on car space!

My family enjoyed our stay very much. This cottage is clean, great location and the AC in the bedrooms helps with that humid Cape air.

We went back to this house for the second year in a row and had a great time. The house was clean and comfortable, and our two young children had a great time in the big backyard. We really enjoyed the fire pit once the kids were in bed.

Bruce & Norma did it again! We spent another glorious week at their " Poppy Cottage" and once again we were not disappointed!

We arrived to the home and were greeted by a lovely, personalized welcome package for the kids and ourselves. The kids were so excited to fill their new " treasure boxes." Norma truly takes a great deal of time and effort when putting these together, and it is such a nice touch!

The house was incredibly clean and ready for us to enjoy the week! And once again, we were treated to Bruce's homemade quahogs ( "Stuffies") they are so darn good!!

Great weekend stay at Bruce's house . Very clean great location . Bruce was very nice and accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. He made us some of his quohogs which were delicious!! Would definitely stay again or recommend to a friend.

Perfect end of summer vacation. Owners Bruce and Norma are the best, from the welcome package to the homemade stuffed quahogs, they even purchased a stand up paddle board and let us use it . Great house and short walk to a nice beach. Really nice neighborhood especially if you enjoy walking.

This is the 1st cottage that we have rented that had a welcome gift awaiting us: wine, taffy, Cape Cod postcards, a 2018 Cape Cod calendar, and all the makings for s'mores (which my grandchildren enjoyed) including the sticks. During the week, Bruce brought us homemade quahogs that were delicious. The cottage had a great layout, and anything you would needed (except towels) was provided: beach chairs and cart, high chair and pack and play, plenty of games, and a nice deck and back yard with a swing set. The beach was walking distance.

We really enjoyed our family vacation at Bruce & Norma's. My wife and I, along with our 2 small children and dog, were very comfortable all week. The house was clean with plenty of room for everyone. There were even lots of children's books and toys.

It's just a short walk to either the beach or the spit, and if you haven't been to Popponesset Beach, it is a fantastic quiet, private family beach.

We were pleasantly surprised by the backyard. It is well landscaped with horseshoes and a fire pit, which we enjoyed every night after putting the kids to bed.

We had the most amazing vacation AGAIN!!! Our second year was even better! We did 2 weeks this year instead of one! Norma and Bruce are the most wonderful friends that we met by vacationing in their beach house! Absolutely love them! This house is perfect -- clean, beautiful, bright, cheery! Not only did we love our time here, but we got to hang with our friends, family and our new great friends Norma & Bruce!

Go to Casa Vallarta in Falmouth on Tuesday if you haven't seen a mariachi band, love them. We went with Norma & Bruce & My silaw family! Best marguaritas/company! See you next year!!! This cottage is perfect for a relaxing beach vacation! Adorable and immaculate with 3 comfortable bedrooms and a great kitchen/living area. The homeowners are so nice! Great backyard and deck. Everything about it made for a wonderful beach vacation. The cottage and the hospitality of the homeowners exceeded my expectations!

We just came home from a wonderful week at Bruce & Norma's Poppy Cottage!! From the moment we arrived, we could not have felt more welcomed. The home itself is bright, clean, and very welcoming. Backyard has two swings sets should you need them, a great fire pit with plenty of chairs surrounding it, perfect for low key nights disconnecting from technology and re-connecting with your family!

When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with thoughtful personalized welcome gifts put together by Norma, for the kids and adults alike. Shortly after we arrived, Bruce stopped by to make sure the house was what we were expecting and to see if we needed anything.

We even had the nice surprise of homemade & hand delivered fresh stuffed quahogs!! YUM!

Trash was picked up by Bruce a couple of times during the week and Norma stopped by to water the flowers, but not once did we ever feel like they were checking up on us, rather taking great care of their property.

We enjoyed our time immensely this week and will definitely be back again!!

We had such an amazing time at Bruce and Norma's cottage. We spent our evenings hosting relatives and spent most mornings drinking coffee and having breakfast in the backyard. The outdoor shower was amazing and the firepit was nice for s'mores! Bruce brought by stuffed quahogs and Norma brought over an anchor for our huge raft. SO incredibly hospitable. Bruce even took us on a tour of Popponesset Bay and harbor. It was beautiful and so thoughtful. The house was spacious and had A/C units for our very hot week. We will definitely be back!

My husband, 3 young girls, dog and I just finished up a fantastic week in Popponesset. This house had all we needed and much more. Plenty of space, all the daily necessities, very clean, and a great outdoor space for kids. The house is located in a great spot...quick walk to the Community Center, which has fun activities for kids daily, and a 5 minute walk to the beach...perfect for little ones. The hosts, Bruce and Norma, were so friendly and attentive and made our stay very enjoyable. We are already counting down the days to our next stay in Popponesset!

Bruce and Norma, the owners, are the nicest people you will ever meet. The home is gorgeous with coastal decor. It's bright with the skylights even on a cloudy day that makes it bright in the home. It's welcoming and beautiful! Everything is organized, you unpack and have a place for everything. You will feel right at home. We had a great experience with becoming really great friends with Bruce & Norma, and we will remain great friends. They took us for a boat ride & amazing Mexican dinner night with mariachi band. We had a blast. This vacation was everything you could ever imagine & more. Short walking distance to beach, community center, raw bar, the inn, the lure. We didn't want to leave. Best vacation we have ever had, huge thanks to our new friends Bruce & Norma. To note my 15 year old son is disabled & they set up handicap ramp for his wheelchair. They go above and beyond. Can't wait for next year's vacation!

We stayed here for a week in June and had a phenomenal time! The house is adorably decorated, with a nice deck and backyard, even a fire pit for pre-bedtime s'mores. It's a short walk to several beaches, which were as good as, or better than, any in the Cape. You can enjoy the open ocean on one side, with light surf and gorgeous views, and 50 yards away, you find the inlets and channels and shelter from the surf. The first day we were there, the kids had a blast catching small fish and hermit crabs in the channel. Our hosts, Bruce and Norma, make it easy to enjoy the beach; even though we brought our own, they had extra chairs, boogie boards, pails, shovels, balls, games and a cart to get it all there.

"Poppy," as the locals know it, is such a great community, perfect for families of any age, including young children. The neighbors are friendly, the streets are safe, and the clubhouse is a hopping community center.

As for the house, Bruce and Norma do a fantastic job making guests feel welcome. The kids loved their welcoming gifts, and the adults loved the clean home, ample space and bedrooms big enough to spread out a little. Our stay was unforgettable, and we want to go back. Seriously, this was a perfect vacation at a perfect time!

Bruce was an awesome host and this was a great place to spend the Memorial Day weekend! Very close to the beach...has a grill to BBQ on and a fire pit. Perfect get away from the city!

Loved the house and the area. Everything we needed and a great back yard with a firepit! Enjoyed walks in the area, and our friend's wedding at the Popponeset Inn was incredible. Would highly recommend this cottage!

Great Cottage! We rented for a long "weekend" (Sat. - Tues.) - attended a wedding at the Popponessett Inn. I was a little hesitant renting "sight unseen" - but I was very pleasantly surprised! The house was very clean (& well stocked with dishes, glasses etc.), backyard was spacious (loved the fire pit!), perfect location (leisurely stroll to the beach) & to top it off, the owners left us a lovely "greeting basket" full of goodies! What a great treat/surprise - much appreciated! I would definitely recommend this rental & hope to return in the future (possibly for a week or two next time!!!).

Bruce & Norma are such a hospitable couple. We arrived to nice gift baskets for the kids. They loved going to the beach and finding horseshoe crab shells along with many other sea creatures. S'mores on the fire pit were a bit hit. My kids can't stop talking about the boat ride Norm took us on. Can't wait to do it again next summer!

My family enjoyed this cottage very much. Everything we needed was provided as to bed linens which, in my experience, no rentals usually do, and kitchen linens. As I am a lady pushing 70 years, the Internet was even more important to me than the beach, so I was delighted it worked well. As to the younger members of our party, this cottage is a child's dream. Plenty of videos and activities available in the cottage as well as swing and jungle gym sets outside! All in all, everything was set up so everyone could relax comfortably!! We would rent again in a heartbeat!

This was our second year renting this house. We love all the amenities, especially the outside shower and fire pit. The beach was a very short walk and we did it with 3 kids in tow. The owners are very hospitable. We are looking forward to next year.

This adorable property was perfect for our family beach vacation! We loved being able to walk to The Spit and the beautiful beach. Excellent proximity to The Marketplace and fishing on the bridge. Our kids also took advantage of arts & crafts, foosball, and movie night at the club house, just a short walk away. Very family friendly! Also worth mentioning, we had great dining experiences at The Popponesset Inn dining room, The Lure (also at the Inn) and Anju (Mexican) in Falmouth. Be sure to check out the wonderful toy store at the marketplace and the weekend live music at the gazebo. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and welcome gifts left by these generous homeowners.

We just returned and had a fabulous stay. We have three young daughters and it was perfect for us. Bruce & Norma were so kind to leave us house warming treats and were always available for any questions.

Perfect location with a few minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches on the Cape and an even shorter walk to the Community center and playground. It was great to be able to enjoy the swing set and firepit in the backyard.

I will recommend this neighborhood and this house to all of my friends! The location is amazing for my three kids - ages 10, 7, and 5 who could all walk or ride bikes to the community center and play in the pick up baseball and soccer games every morning. The crafts, bingo nights and square dance nights were a blast too. This house was clean, well-stocked with board games and movies and had a great backyard with play equipment, a firepit, and horseshoe set. We loved riding bikes to get pizza at the market place and walking to the beach. Bruce and Norma are a lovely couple who went above and beyond our expectations to make our week special - from the surprise boogie boards and toys to the bottle of wine waiting for us. I really hope we can come back here for many years to come!

This is or second year renting this home. We opted to stay for 2 weeks this year and it was well worth it. Great not to leave after a week and just enjoy the beach while everyone else packed up. I'm hesitant to actually write how much we enjoy it. I don't want to let the secret out that this is one of the best spots on the Cape! We had friends and my mom come to visit and they loved it. They're already looking to rent for next year.

Walk to the beach. Great shopping and entertainment 5 minutes away (Mashpee Commons). Plus Hyannis and Falmouth are only a short drive. Not to mention the world famous "raw bar" with its amazing lobsters rolls and shellfish. You're foolish to vacation anywhere else.

From the moment we got here, we felt welcome. Each of our children had a personalized beach pail filled with goodies and there were snacks and wine for the grown ups! The house was well kept and had a very beachy decor - perfect for vacation. We ate breakfast on the back deck almost every morning and grilled dinner out there in the evenings. We topped off a few nights roasting marshmallows over the fire-pit. The beach was close enough for the kids to walk to without getting tired, and some days they rode their bikes there. The community house had daily activities for different age groups and we were even there for a road race. The owners (Norma & Bruce) were great hosts and gave us suggestions on places to go and activities available. I am writing this review as I start planning for next summer - cannot wait to go back!

Stayed here mid August, great time! We have to small kids 7 & 4. It's a short short walk to the beach, where we'd stay all day fishing for minnows and crabs. Awesome beach with lots of boats going by and plenty of sea life, nice and warm for swimming in the ocean. Cottage was cozy and felt like the Cape should -- a BEACH HOUSE!!... Loved the market place in the neighborhood, famous raw bar, kids store, ice cream, coffee shop, bands... you name it, very fun place. Norma and Bruce were great hosts. They even left welcoming gift buckets filled with all kinds of stuff for the kids. It was a nice touch. We're heading here again next year....

This was our first year renting a house, and we are so happy we chose this one! It was clean and had everything we needed. The outside shower was perfect after a day at the beach. The beach was only a 5 minute walk and was not overcrowded, perfect for letting our children run around to play.

Our family had a last minute vacation to Popponesset, and we rented this cottage. We are glad we did. It is a cozy, clean, "Capey" cottage, with adorable nautical touches throughout. Our children were thrilled to receive their cute "welcome basket" - complete with a personalized beach pail, and other things that kept them happy! We appreciated our "welcome" bottle of wine, and Euro for our car. The Spit is a close walk, took us less than five minutes, and the warm water was music to our souls. We are in the process of booking for summer 2014, and I couldn't believe I forgot to review.

So, I have rented this home a few times.. It is clean, quaint and very cozy! Close to Mashpee Commons if you like to shop! Surrounded by a friendly community and close to beaches. The spit is one of the attraction beaches in Poppy and is really quite beautiful, just a 5 minute walk.. The people are friendly and the owners Bruce and Norma are extremely accommodating! The cottage itself is by far a pleasant experience with the comfort of almost being home :) If you have not visited it here, then it's a must! You will want to come back for sure! I also recommend coming in the early fall, it is beautiful.
