Bright and Sunny 1850's Greek Revival Close to Town & Beach

Our family had a fabulous week at this beautiful home in Provincetown. The house is as advertised. The location was perfect for us. Our two and one-half year old granddaughter loved the harbor beach directly across the street. The location of the house on Commercial street is close enough to walk to the Center but far enough way to allow for glorious quiet New England mornings. The layout of the house itself gives everyone room to spread out. The second floor enclosed porch is wonderful space. The home is elegantly furnished and has classic charm. The bedding is terrific. The kitchen is well equipped and in terrific working order. There are plenty of bathrooms. We enjoyed the beautiful backyard. We appreciated having beach chairs, beach towels and all linens provided. And the house was immaculate for our arrival. David is extremely responsive to any issues that come up. It was really perfect. show more show less

This is the second year we've rented from David and we will continue as long as we can. We love, love, love the house, the yard, the location, the access to the beach and the beautiful walk to town! The bus stops 1 block up if you don't feel like walking. Pedicabs are very happy to bring you home as they can pick up riders on the way back. The house is stocked with verything you need and more! Couldn't ask for better landlords, always helpful and accommodating! Great memories these past 2 years here! 5 stars! show more show less

This house was perfect for our family.
Beside its charm and beautiful decor, it was fully
equipped with everything we needed. The patio
surrounded by plants and flowers was just paradise
after a day out and a welcome treat morning, noon
and night. Everything was within perfect walking
distance. The beach directly across the street was
wondertul….I got up for every sunrise ... back to the
patio for coffee and breakfast after that. The landlord is very accommodating and responded
immediately if we had a question. We're so looking
forward to renting again next year. On a scale of 1-
10…it's an 11!

This was the second summer in which our family came to Provincetown to spend a week together at this lovely historic East End home. The layout affords everyone a space of their own, along with common space to gather comfortably together for a meal. The location makes for a serene P'town experience, while just a short walk away to galleries, shops, and restaurants. Morning coffee in the back yard is a delight. Beach access is right across the street. The home is well equipped and David is very thoughtful and responsive. Wish I was there right now! show more show less

This is a wonderful property to rent. David's house is just as charming as the pictures show. It's in a great situation in the quiet East End, so my kids could bicycle around the streets and play in the yard, and walk to the harbor beach which is just across the road. It's a short walk or bicycle ride into town but quiet enough when you get back to the house to feel like you're escaping the hustle and bustle. Inside, the house is beautifully furnished and incredibly well stocked - there was nothing that we wanted that David hadn't provided for us. Comfortable beds, air conditioning in the bedrooms, a wonderful dining/living room that fit the whole family, and the best stocked kitchen I've ever come across in a rental house. Plus the added luxury of claw-footed baths and a screened porch upstairs for the rare moments when I could sit down with a book. Outside there's a yard large enough to play ball or host a barbecue.

David himself was a total pleasure, he couldn't have been easier or more helpful both while booking the property and with any questions while we stayed there - he even rescued a lost teddy bear for us after we left. It was a really magical property to stay in and we will certainly rent it again when we come back to Provincetown. show more show less
