Our family has been staying at the cottages on East Sandwich Beach for several years now but this was our first summer at Sharon-Dipity. Andy's home is incredibly clean, well-stocked and comfortable - and LITERALLY steps from the ocean. We loved waking up to the beautiful views and enjoying our morning coffee on the "upper deck" on the dunes overlooking the ocean. The open living room and kitchen was perfect for enjoying meals as a family after a long day at the beach. Andy checked in throughout the week to ensure everything was going smoothly and that we had everything we needed. You can tell when someone loves their home and wants you to love it too.

This beach is a special place where you can make many wonderful memories. During low tide, you can walk out on the sandbar and enjoy the endless views. While in a quiet, tucked away neighborhood, you're still just minutes away from restaurants and shopping. We are already planning to return next summer for another wonderful week at Andy and his family's home! show more show less

I just spent a week here and its one of the nicest places Ive stayed at (and I go all over the Cape for my photography). Its a beautifully updated, SPARKLING clean cottage that has many nice finishes. I loved the comfy bed, great hot water, well-stocked kitchen, roomy living area (had friends come down for the day)... all things that mean a lot when you're on vacation! And the beach is just beautiful! Low tide is especially nice with scenic sand bars to explore. The platform on top of the dune gives a great vantage point for both sunrises and sunsets. Its 2 minutes from 6A which has a lot of dining options as well. Andy was great to work with, rental process was easy and smooth.
All in all, it was a wonderful week and hope to stay again next year! show more show less

We are so glad we came across Sharon-dip-ity! We were new to renting in the Sandwich area and this cottage was a great find. Andy made the process so easy and answered all my questions before arrival. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything you may need to cook and prepare a meal.

The space was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 1 toddler. One of the first days we were there is was extremely windy and we were impressed by how sound the cottage was; you couldn't even tell it was windy outside! Andy checked in via text during the week to make sure everything was going well. We will definitely consider staying at Sharon-dip-ity again. Highly recommend! show more show less

Andy's house is steps from the private beach, with all the essential amenities including an A/C that came in handy during the hot days. While the sand dunes in front of the house blocked ocean views, they made for an awesome spot to catch the sunset daily. If you are staying for a week or longer, I strongly suggest you bring stuff to cook at home as the food options nearby are subpar compared to Boston & suburbs. All in all, I would definitely come here again!

The cottage is updated inside and out. The bedrooms are small, but the living area is large and comfortable. The location cannot be beaten since it is only a few steps to the beach. A perfect Cape Cod vacation.

We wanted a place to get away with our adult kids, escape the craziness and 'Sharon-dip-ity' was perfect! Cozy with everything you need to enjoy the beach, which is literally in your backyard. Morning walks, relax in the sun, beautiful sunsets, and chatting around a campfire on the beach. Something for everyone.

Lighthouse 8 has always been a favorite of mine. The new owners did some really nice upgrades, like the outdoor shower and the AC for some to mention. Even though ocean front, because of the sand dunes, the view is getting limited. Otherwise a great vacation cottage and we will return again.

Our family has stayed in this cottage several times over the years. It sits right up to the dunes facing the beach. Very convenient for going back and forth to the beach. Due to the height of the dunes you can't see much of the beach directly from the house. The beach does have it's "cape cod" stones that leads to the water, though there are plenty of sandy areas to sit. During low tide, many sand bars appear which are a big hit for both young and old. The cottage was nicely updated by the new owner and the addition of AC was a big plus on those hot humid days. show more show less
