Our cottage is one of nine privately owned Oceanside Cottages arranged in a u-shape around a common area on a private beach in East Sandwich on Cape Cod Bay. The main floor consists of a living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, full bath, and bedroom with a queen bed. A spiral staircase leads to two bedrooms with two twin beds in each. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a sliding glass door leading to a small balcony with a view of the ocean. The outside patio features a BBQ-grill and a picnic table. The cottage can accommodate a maximum of six people. Wireless High-Speed Internet Service and cable TV are included. Linens are available. There is parking for two cars. Sorry, no pets. East Sandwich Beach is a great area for families, especially those with children. The beach has beautiful sand bars at low tide for play or swimming. You can walk the beach for miles in each direction. It is possible to fish from the beach or nearby at Scorton Creek.

    Great!

    We stayed at this cottage in early June and chose it for its closeness to the beach, which is right over the dune. The beach is a mix of sand and rocks and the water is crystal clear.

    The cottage was clean and has pretty much anything you need. When I asked about a blender, Paula was able to provide one quickly. The only challenge was getting luggage up the spiral staircase. I hope to come back again next year.

    Fun Family Beach Vacation

    We had a wonderful family vacation in Sandwich. The cottage is very cute and the kids loved the spiral staircase. We brought our bikes and visited the canal. Highly recommend this rental. Can't beat the price either!

    Perfect family vacation

    Our family had a wonderful vacation at Oceanside. The location is perfect with great sandbars at low tide, just a few steps away. My grandchildren even made friends with other children playing on the sandbar!

    The house is kept up nicely and there is no need to even leave the beach for meals because the kitchen is well equipped. The grandchildren loved their upstairs accommodations while we slept downstairs.

    We accidentally left our bag of beach toys in the driveway at home and when Paula heard that she arrived at the house with a bag of beach toys for us to borrow during our stay.

    Best family vacation just steps from the ocean!

    We had a wonderful family vacation staying in this darling red cottage right on the beach. Cape Cod is our "happy place." Lots of great memories here! Paula was wonderful to work with. We hope to stay here again in the future!

    Great place and very clean

    We enjoyed a week in 2012 and rebooked for the same week in 2013. The spot is great for swimming, sandbars, campfires on the beach and fishing in the creek. I would suggest this rental for a week of fun.

    I have owned and rented out this cottage for over 40 years. I have rented it to hundreds of families over the years. I am a retired school teacher with children and grandchildren.

    What is special about this property?
    The greatest asset of this cottage is it's location, the sandbars at low tide are incredible. Beach fires in the evening are also very special. Families create memories at the beach.
