This modern cottage was constructed in 2023 and has 3 bedrooms accommodating up to 6 guests. The first floor consists of an eat in kitchen, sitting room, large bedroom, full bathroom, and deck with an outdoor shower. The second floor has a living room with a balcony, bedroom, full bathroom, and laundry room. The top floor is a multipurpose room with additional beds. All rooms have either a view of the beach and water, or scenic wetlands. The private parking lot accommodates as many as 4 cars.

The cottage is located on the beach side of the road, just 100 ft. from a wooden walkway leading to a private beach which offers swimming, beachcombing and fishing. Further down the beach is Scorton Creek which is a popular local fishing spot.

Within a 15 minute drive from the cottage there are a wide variety of restaurants and stores, and other amenities such as a miniature golf course, antique shops, local fish market, museums, and a local movie theater.

The Google map for this location has not been update and still shows the old houses that were on the property prior to the construction of the new houses.

    Don and Cherie were kind and thoughtful, checking in with us throughout our entire one month stay. The house is brand new and pristinely clean. Modern, comfortable, and tastefully appointed. Beach is 100 steps from the back door. Would absolutely recommend!

    My wife and I have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. I sold my architectural practice about 10 years and now spend most of my time watching my grandkids and painting. My wife is a retired physician. We bought the property in E. Sandwich 3 years ago and finished building 2 houses on it in 2023. The main house is our family vacation home and the other is a guest cottage. This is the first year the cottage is being rented.

    What is special about this property?
    The property's greatest assets are its location:
    1. Just a 10 to 15 minute drive from the Sagamore Bridge after crossing the Cape Cod Canal.
    2. On a quiet street.
    3. On a private beach.



    What is special about your town?
    Sandwich is the oldest town on Cape Cod, and a fun and charming place to visit. Sandwich has much to see and do such as:
    1. Incredible beaches, great restaurants and shops.
    2. Activities such as boating, fishing and miniature golf.
    3. Places of interest such as a picturesque 17th century grist mill, the oldest house on Cape Cod built in 1675, and the Heritage Museums and Gardens with 100 acres of sites including a renovated Shaker round barn.

    With so many things to do in Sandwich, MA, you'll never be bored.
