Great place to stay in Cape Cod

We really enjoyed our stay at Robbi's house. The description on the website was very accurate as everything was new and immaculate. Robbi was very quick to respond and very helpful whenever we had a question. The master suite shower was awesome and the bed was adjustable. Although we didn't use the jacuzzi, the sights from the deck were spectacular. The kitchen had every utensil and pot you could ask for including a large pot for steaming lobsters. The inside of the house was very clean and the decor was amazing. We took advantage of the fire pit by making smores and simply sitting around the warm fire and talk. The neighborhood was great for walking our dog as well and the people were very nice and welcoming. It was also within walking distance of some of the local restaurants, especially the Pilot House, which was our favorite place to eat. The Treehouse Brewery was also within walking distance and was next to the 2 beaches which we frequented. We are looking forward to coming back again next summer. show more show less

    Absolutely Perfect!

We had a wonderful week at this property! The location was AWESOME - walking distance to the beach, the canal, and multiple restaurants and seafood markets. The house was spacious - we were 4 adults, two kids, and dogs. It was the perfect house for dogs - lots of room to move around with minimal breakables around. The two decks were so relaxing to sit on - you can see the water from the upper deck. The neighborhood was very quiet. We had everything we needed (and then some) for cooking and grilling. The game room was fun and the exercise room had a good variety of equipment. The shower in the master bathroom was really nice. Best of all, the owner was very communicative and responsive and wonderful to work with! We will be back! show more show less

Robbi's home was spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed, and was a perfect location. We were close to the water, shops and restaurants and loved the view from the lofty! We would like to come back!

Thank you for a very pleasant stay in your cottage.

It's super well equipped and close to the beach, which we truly enjoyed, along with alkl festivities around the 4th of July.

Thank you for having us. Since Cape Cod is far away from our European home, we hope to come back one day.

    Hello,

I've been renting properties through the traditional real estate offices methods since 1999. I have a good feel for the quality and expected services people renting homes for their vacations need. I'm always available and provide prompt response(within 4 hours) on queries and/or issues.

I've owned/lived on Cape Cod in this property specifically since 1999. I'm now offering this beautiful home in a sought after location for others to bring family/friends and enjoy as I have for all these years.

What is special about this property?
The location is Town Neck in scenic & historic Sandwich, MA. Close to Route 3 and the Sagamore Bridge making getting here very easy. It sits on a quaint corner lot with a picnic patio under the shade of mature Red & Green Maple trees. This happens to be the breeziest/coolest area of the yard. In the opposite corner you'll find a corner ampi-theater sand dune with natural sea grass surrounding a fire pit and chairs. Perfect for extending the ambience of your day at the beach late into the night with fire, smores, pineapple tiki torches surpassed only by lively conversation and story-telling about the fish that got away.
Indoors it's bright, airy and very ''beachy'' decor. Nice open first floor plan with good flow between a good sized kitchen/island, dining and family room. A more industrial-style and fireplaced living room off the kitchen invites for a relaxing evening with family/friends. The bonus in this home is a master bedroom with spiral staircase to a loft with views of Cape Cod Bay.

Walking distance to two Town Beaches will make it easy for all to enjoy a day at the beach. Multiple dining options are within walking distance. Also look for The Treehouse Brewery perched overlooking Cape Cod Bay and within a 5 minute walk for your ease of commute back to your abode.

What is special about your town?
    Source: Wikipedia

There are many historic homes in Sandwich, including the Benjamin Nye Homestead on Old County Road (formerly known as Old King's Highway) and the Benjamin Holway House built in 1789 at 379 Route 6A. This property hosts one of the original Nye Homestead structures built in 1698 and is believed to have originally served as either a tavern or a shop. It is now used as a law office.

    Dexter's Grist Mill
Sandwich was the site of an early Quaker settlement and today hosts the oldest continuous Quaker Meeting in the U.S.[7] There were some conflicts with other religious groups, so some Quakers left the town for further settlements elsewhere including Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Many of Sandwich's prominent families have Quaker ties.

    Sandwich Glass Museum
Deming Jarves founded the Boston & Sandwich Glass Factory in 1825. Sandwich had proximity to a shallow harbor, was a possible canal site, and had local supplies of timber to fuel the glass furnaces. The glass works primarily made lead glass and was known for its use of color. Jarves received several patents for his improvements in glass mold designs and pressing techniques. The factory declined after the American Civil War due to competition from Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia companies that produced less expensive pressed soda-lime glass tableware.
The Cape Cod Canal is a wonder for boaters/fisherman alike. Come fish for stripers!
