This was our second time staying at the beach house It was wonderful! The house has everything you need for a relaxing and easy vacation. Enough space for everyone but still intimate with a charming screened porch for dining. Very clean and the AC a plus if you need it. Gorgeous views of the Marsh and the private beach The water was crystal clear for swimming and paddle boarding. The hosts Marcia and Chris are very responsive and helpful We hope to return!

This lovely location on the bayside of Cape Cod was perfect for us with some young grandchildren. The house had 2 decks. One deck especially was literally a few boardwalk steps down to the beach so child watching was easy. The kitchen was very nice too!

Here it is, a very welcoming (not stuffy), restored historic cottage in a private association area. You will not find more lovely, kind hosts than Marcia & Chris, they are thrilled to share their treasured place with guests and help you maximize your stay in any way possible with helpful suggestions and prompt responses. We would rent from them at any location. We also rented kayaks from Ride-Away (more super helpful people) to explore all around, enjoyed deck cookouts, the full kitchen & games on the sunporch, beach campfires, lazy days under our cabana and long peaceful walks. Note the property has a spacious wrap around deck on the cottage plus another beach overlook deck just steps up the dune (outdoor shower is fantastic!) We also love the historic town of Sandwich with several restaurant choices & shops. Very civilized. We're sorry to let the secret out:)

My family and in laws have stayed in different houses all over the cape throughout the years. This by far was one of the best experiences we have had. The house was just as advertised, spacious, comfortable and located right on the beach. We enjoyed the two decks out back and the private beach. The water wasn't too rough, so my kids were able to go in and play in the water. Everything we needed was close by and within a 30-minute drive, so if the weather is bad there is stuff to do. Lastly, Chris & Marcia were very responsive and communicated with us throughout the trip to ensure we were comfortable during our stay. My oldest son asked after we left, "can we come back to that beach house again?' We hope to stay there again!

We loved our stay! The homeowner was a gracious host - very responsive and friendly. When we arrived, the house was spotless and clean! It has beautiful views of the beach from the dune deck, as well as lovely views of the ever changing marshlands. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked and ready for cooking, and we enjoyed the comfortable living areas - you can hear the waves from the dining porch. The downstairs living area and bedroom really gave the house a roomy feel. Best of all was the lovely beach! Perfect for swimming with the small waves of the bay. We launched our rented kayaks right from the beach and loved watching the sunset from the fire pit right on the beach. Perfect for s'mores!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. After coming to this very beach for 20 years as a child with my family every year, we were lucky enough to find this lovely home to bring our own kids back to. While the weather certainly helped, the home, location and attention to detail from our hosts really took our stay to the next level. The dune deck and fire pit were perfect spots for a morning coffee or evening sunset and s'mores and the covered porch was ideal for lunch and evening games inside. We couldn't have asked for more and can't wait to return.

This was our second time staying at this incredible beach house, and somehow, it managed to be even more magical than the first. From the moment we arrived, it felt like coming home—but to a home that sits steps away from a secluded beach!

Everything we loved during our first stay was just as wonderful: the clean, beautifully decorated interior, the thoughtful layout, and the unbeatable outdoor space. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the seamless flow into the living and porch areas created such a cozy and relaxed atmosphere for our family.

Once again, we spent countless hours on the dune deck and beach, watching sunrises, reading in the salty breeze, and ending days with the glow of a sunset. The outdoor dining area and fire pit are perfect for evening gatherings and making new memories.

What stood out most this time, though, was the feeling of familiarity and ease. We knew exactly what to expect—and yet the house still managed to surprise us with small touches that showed just how much care goes into maintaining and improving the space.

Marcia continues to be a dream host: attentive, kind, and consistently responsive. She made everything effortless from start to finish, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment.

It's rare to find a vacation home that gets better with each visit. We're already looking forward to returning again!

This is our 3rd (maybe 4th?!) time renting Clos-E-Nuf and it simply never disappoints. Private beach, amazing sunsets and room for a family of 5 plus a few significant others! It was a VERY hot week and it was nice to escape into the AC cooled house. At night, family chats around the fire pit on the beach made for wonderful memories. Marcia is a caring and gracious host which makes an easy rental process that much easier. 6 out of 5 stars! Will look forward to coming back in the summer of 2026!

We were looking for a beachfront house that could accomodate our entire family for a weeks vacation. This house was the perfect fit for a family of 8. There were three spaces for the entire faminly to gather, the front dining room, the outside dining area, and the dune deck. There was also plenty of private space for anyone who preferred a bit of solitude for summer reading.
The house was nicely decorated and very comfortable. It was a hot week, and the air conditioning kept up nicely.
The view from the dune deck and the beach is absolutely beautiful. The sunsets over the entrance to the canal were spectacular. We enjoyed watching the boats preparing to enter the canal and had fun trying to figure out what each ship was carrying.
We have the best weather of the summer, which capped off our vacation wonderfully.
Highly recommended for a family gathering.
Recommend bringing real water shoes. The beach sand if clean and fine, but there are a lot of small rocks to cross before you get into the water. I brought Crocks but they let all the rocks in and made it hard to walk into the water.
Overall a beautiful place to spend some time on Cape Cod!

My two daughters, husband, and father stayed here for a week in August. The beach is very private and clean. The house was spotless and comfortable, and there was enough room between the downstairs level and multiple patios/decks so that the five of us did not feel cramped. The kitchen is stocked with anything you could need for a cookout. We loved the screened-in porch and outdoor shower! The dune deck is amazing; note that the home itself does not have ocean views due to shrubbery, but sitting and eating on the dune deck makes up for that. We enjoyed morning walks down the dead-end street to view osprey and other wildlife. This area of the Cape has a lot to do for families, such as shopping, Heritage Gardens, Green Briar Nature Center, Mass Audubon Longmeadow preserve, and many other attractions.

My family and I had a spectacular stay at Marcia and Chris's house this past week. There are 6 of us and we all fit comfortably. My 19 year old daughter usually bring 3 friends and they were able to have the downstairs (with it's own separate entrance) to themselves. We definitely had our privacy from each other. My favorite part of having coffee on the deck overlooking the beach!
The house was fully equipped and emaculately clean. We definitely planning on returning.

This is the second time we have had the opportunity to have a week at Marcia and Chris' house and it was again an outstanding week. The weather was very hot (even for us New Englanders) and the new central air was a savior! And of course, a walk out the back door across the deck to your private, quiet beach is hands down the best of conveniences. We highly recommend this lovely home as you will not be disappointed!

Location of this property is perfect, the sunset and sunrise you can see them both on the Ocean Side. The kitchen view is stunning. The birds singing everyday it's like your own private bird sanctuary. The house was very clean and everything you need. The area is very quiet in a perfect place to relax off the beaten path. The fishing was great in the area and watching the boats coming and going from the canal was fun. Communication with the renter couldn't have been any better , Thank You For The Memories We will be back next year!

My family and I had a wonderful week at Marcia and Chris's home in Sandwich. We watched the sun rise and set each day from the beach that was only steps away from the house. Our daily walks to the marsh at the end of the road provided us with an opportunity to see how the changes in the tide affected the land and sea scape each day. Marcia let us know that the beach is rocky and we would need water shoes. Although the beach was rocky, it was not an issue for us at all. The house was cute, clean, and had everything we needed. We ended up utilizing the linen and cleaning service which was quite helpful as well.
Marcia was a pleasure to speak to from booking through our final day. The location was spectacular because we did not have to deal with a lot of Cape traffic, yet there were plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby. Sandwich is a very cute little town and we enjoyed checking out the fish hatchery and Nye Museum, as well as a taking a beautiful bike ride down the canal. We would definitely go back and stay here again!

My family recently had the pleasure of staying at this beach house for a week-long summer vacation, and I must say, it was an absolute dream come true! Nestled along the shores of a secluded beach, the house offered everything we could have hoped for and more.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were impressed by the tastefully decorated interior.
The house was immaculately clean, and the attention to detail was evident. The layout allowed for a smooth flow from the fully equipped kitchen to the living room and porch.

Furnished with lounge chairs, an outdoor dining area, and a grill, the outdoor space was the perfect place for al fresco dining and relaxation. The private dune deck overlooking the beach was an idyllic spot to soak up the sun, enjoy morning coffee, or witness the most mesmerizing sunsets. The fire pit was a delight in the evenings, providing a spot to unwind under the stars.

The location of the house was also ideal, providing a perfect balance between tranquility and convenience. It was secluded enough to offer a peaceful and private atmosphere, yet within a short drive to the highway and various attractions.

Lastly, I must commend Marcia for her outstanding service. From the initial booking process to our departure, she was responsive, friendly, and made sure our stay was seamless.

We had a wonderful time at clo-sea-nuf! We visit the cape frequently and had never stayed in Sandwich before and was pleasantly surprised. The area was great with lots of nice outdoor dining on the water. The house was great, nice and clean and the owners were very responsive. It was great being able to walk out the back deck and step onto the beach. It was also very helpful that beach chairs were provided (enough for our whole family) so we didn't have to pack them. It was a great week with great memories!

We absolutely loved our 2nd stay at Chris & Marcia's beautiful oceanfront home. The addition of the A/C made our stay even more pleasant! There was plenty of room for our family to spread out and have our own spaces. I love that the beach is just steps away, but you can also have your privacy when you want it. The home is equipped with all the pots you need to make up some lobsters, etc. We would without a doubt stay here again!

Fantastic location, nice views with private beach access, the sunsets and sunrises were breathtaking. We got to watch whale pass thru the bay from our deck. Such a beautiful house it had everything we needed and more. Our Hosts were the best! They made us feel like family!!

A very relaxing and comfortable place to stay. The cottage was fully equipped with necessities needed, and nicely decorated throughout. Furniture and beds in excellent condition. A nice "on the beach/water feeling". Enjoyed so many features of this location, which, beside the cottage itself, we could walk out to an attached deck, an ocean view beach deck to BBQ, socialize or relax, and from there walk out onto the beach. The beach - nothing like a walk along the water and talking to some local fishermen, the sunrises and sunsets, and of course a bonfire toward evening. The area provides so many wonderful places to explore/visit. A few of our favorites were the ride up to Provincetown with many places to stop along the way, Martha's Vineyard, and the Canal. There's much more. The history of this area is so interesting. At the end of the day, it felt very good to be back at our cozy cottage "home" to eat, relax, and start a fire on the beach. If you don't like to go go go like we do, then just totally enjoy the serenity of the cottage, the private beach, the relaxation. IT'S ALL GOOD!

This place is our FAVORITE in 18 YEARS of travel nursing! We've been traveling all over the US (Alaska, Hawaii, the entire Western US, midwest and Florida) and THIS PLACE TOPS our list! (maybe a close tie with the place we stayed at Maui, but 2 different kinds of paradises we're talking about). Loved the location being right on Cape Cod Bay with our own private beach right out the back deck. There is a firepit made from beach rocks that wash up on the beach. We used that firepit almost every night to either cook a fresh catch or just enjoy evening Hors D'oeuvres and a beverage. We saw seals and even a whale while out in the bay! We had both our families come out to visit while we stayed here and there was plenty of room. The lower level (as you enter from the driveway) has a bedroom, bathroom and a living room area with nice couch, AND a trundle bed ...nice area of the house for our family guests to have their own space. Upstairs has 3 cozy bedrooms with closets and dressers. (Can hear the ocean when we crack the windows!) Comfortable couch and chairs in living room. There are beautiful scenery paintings of Cape Cod throughout the house painted by the owner. (I actually bought one for a birthday gift for my Sweetie). Nice screened in porch with large kitchen table and nice patio table and chairs out on the deck. There is a short path from the back deck to the dune deck which we used often to grill (charcoal grill also provided!) The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of dishes and plasticware for outdoor dining. Incredible view of the marsh out the kitchen windows. Nice and easy 30 minute commute door to door to work to Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis (close to the same distance to Falmouth Hospital too as well as Plymouth Hospital). The owners, Chris and Marcia, are some of the nicest people we met. Very knowledgeable of the area and very prompt with any questions we had. The check in /out process was easy. Our stay wasn't long enough. We'll be back whether it be for work or vacation. Thanks for everything!

While visiting family in the Cape we had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cozy cottage right on the beach front. This quiet comfortable homey place makes you feel at peace and brings all the joy of a New England summer house. The home decor is perfect and the sleeping options are wonderful. Everything was nice and clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed the beach during the day which is the perfect quiet and peaceful place to lay back, relax and take a nap or enjoy a nice book. We then enjoyed a nice nighttime fire & s'mores roast on the beach once the sun set. I loved the convenience of the outdoor shower & two different deck Options. We hope to visit again!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this property. The home is very comfortable, kitchen well stocked with everything you would need. Beautiful artwork is displayed on the walls. A large deck in back leads to a smaller one overlooking your own beach area. The beach itself is a little rocky so bring water shoes. We brought a couple kayaks with us and really enjoyed kayaking from our own beach. Location of the home was perfect...not too far into the Cape to have traffic issues but close enough to be able to explore all the Cape has to offer. Our favorite things about the home...be able to step out the door and watch amazing sunrises in the morning, the beautiful sunsets in evening and then enjoying a fire on the beach while gazing at the night sky full of stars. Definitely a perfect home for relaxing on the beach!

We stayed at Clo-sea-nuf for 13 weeks during the Autumn months and it was incredible! Gorgeous views of Cape Cod Bay (not to mention our own private beach literally right outside the back deck). We enjoyed the private firepit on (our) beach taking in views of Cape Cod Bay...we could even see the lights of Provincetown! Sunrise and Sunset walks on the beach were absolutely breathtaking. We often were graced with the presence of the "neighborhood seal" who swam/patrolled along the shores...always a welcoming site! The light here is magical...especially as the sun starts to set over the marsh (magnifcent marsh view right out the huge kitchen windows). We loved the fully stocked kitchen to prepare our meals...Marcia and Chris provided a great selection of cookware and serving dishes (including outdoor utensils/plates). Nice spaces to dine too---the screened in porch overlooking the back deck, the back deck itself with nice patio table/chairs and furniture and our favorite, the dune deck overlooking the beach and Cape Cod Bay. We could not have asked for anything more. WE pinched ourselves everyday during our stay. Marcia and Chris were very attentive to our needs, responded quickly to any questions we had and made us feel right at home. Comfortable and great memories. Highly recommend staying here! This house was ideal for a Cape Cod vacation. We had plenty of space to spread out and we loved being able to get to the beach whenever we wanted. It is located so conveniently to get anywhere on the Cape- we even traveled to Boston and Newport with no issues. The hosts were terrific communicators and were very engaged with making sure everything went smoothly. Her advice about who to get the linens from was spot on and could not have been easier. The house was supplied with all the cookware, dishes, grilling equipment and beach items we could ever need- even wood for the fire pit! Washing machine and dryer were perfect and there was even a drying rack for our use. You really felt at home there and we loved all the artwork on the walls- much of it was done by one of the owners! We would LOVE to stay here again!

My family and I were so happy to stumble on a beautiful rental. I was eager to get away with my family and couldn't find any availability at places we wanted to go. After deciding on the Cape, We were so happy to find Marcia and Chris' home. It is spacious with lots of outdoor seating areas and the beach being steps away was ideal for our little one. The home was equipped with everything we needed and only needed to stock our groceries. We would definitely return with family again.

Had a great week here. 6 adults and 4 young children. Nice having the beach as a backyard, and being the only people on it. Kitchen has every thing you might need, so don't think you need to bring a lot of tools. Plenty of driveway space. Downstairs is like a separate unit, so kids spent a lot of time there, grownups upstairs.

The house was clean with plenty of room. The beach was quiet and our area was nice and private. My family and I absolutely love Sandwich and what a great spot for us to be, just steps to the beach! Looking forward to a return visit.

What an absolutely remarkable home! Could not recommend this property any higher. We are a family of 5 and the home accommodated all extremely well. And the location is unbeatable, walking off your deck…past the outdoor shower, over the dune deck to your private beach. The ease of back and forth, for lunch, a break from the sun, or a cocktail was probably the best aspect of the property. And Marcia and Chris as hosts were gracious as well as attentive. We look forward to returning next year to this spectacular place. Would highly recommend!

We just spent four days at this gem in Sandwich and can't wait to go back . The house was perfect for our family gathering of 5 adults . The weather wasn't the best but that didn't really matter because the house was perfect. It was immaculate , comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay . Chris and Marcia were very responsive and easy to work with . Hopefully we will be back sooner than later.

We rented this home for a family vacation. The Private Beach was beautiful and very quiet.
The location was great especially for families with young children.
Marcia was very accessible and answered my calls promptly.

We enjoyed our stay at this oceanfront home. The two decks provide alternatives for lounging both in view of the water and adjacent to the home. The view from the beach deck at dawn is gorgeous with spectacular sunrises. If you are a photographer you will love this spot. The kitchen has a lovely wide view of the marsh area. Kitchen was well stocked with most everything you would need, and home was very clean.

What a great house to spend time with my elderly parents. The dune deck was a great alternative for the older folks who have a tough time in the sand. I personaly loved the sand and sitting in the very clean refreshing water!

The house was super clean and had everything you will need on your beach vacation. We very much enjoyed the enclosed porch room and spent a lot of time relaxing and enjoying the beach breeze!

We enjoyed the most delightful three nights at Chris and Marcia's beach home. Everything promised (amenities, etc.) was delivered. Marcia took the extra step of ensuring we knew the nuances of the house (e.g. what light switches controlled what) so we didn't need to play guessing games. The Dune Deck is to die for - such a wonderful size, and placement to the ocean. We had a grand time and look forward to visiting again!

This house was terrific, from the perfect beachfront location to the lovely, light-filled kitchen to the comfy bed! There was plenty of room for way more than my husband and myself, but it had everything we needed, from beach to wi-fi to space. We enjoyed admiring the owner's artwork, the fully equipped kitchen, and did I mention the beach?! I hope we can return!

We rented 1-12th September for a family vacation. The house is spacious,beautifully decorated and with a well stocked kitchen. Two charcoal grills and an outdoor shower are very convenient features. Wrap around deck with sun loungers and a large patio table provided lovely shelter on windy days. The dune deck was perfect for our grandmother to watch the fun on the beach. Although a stony beach nothing stopped us walking there every day and swimming. Flip flops/water shoes were all that we needed. The marsh side of the house had a lovely walk along an unpaved road so very slow moving traffic! The fire pit right on the beach was a nightly highlight. Close to the Cape Cod Canal trail which we enjoyed on our bikes. Also, there are several nearby golf courses. All together a fantastic place to escape to and spend memory making time with friends and family. Thank you Marcia and Chris for sharing your gorgeous home.

This is our 7th year of enjoying this fabulous home. Our family looks forward to the week we spend here and could not ask for more gracious hosts then the Warringtons. The house provides ample room and is always immaculate when we arrive. Having the beach at our back door was perfect when the grandchildren were little (saving the adults many steps) and now that they are all in their teens, they still love their summer retreat. There is not one thing that would possibly provide a better summer vacation spot. I recommend it highly (just don't rent my week!!)

Excellent location. The front beach deck is super for coffee in the morning and beverages after a day at the beach. Very nice kitchen. Well stocked. Having bathrooms upstairs and down works well for big families. Bedrooms have closets and dressers which help keep clothes in order. Sunroom is perfect for dining in. Also a large table on the deck for dining outside.

We had a very comfortable stay at this vacation rental. Although our group was a family of four that included two adult children, I imagine this rental also works well for families with younger children. It was stocked with sand toys, beach chairs, two BBQ grills—truly everything I think you could need. The kitchen was complete with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and spices, which was much appreciated. The beach behind the house is private and gorgeous, and we enjoyed being able to have bonfires on the beach at night in the provided fire pit. The only drawback (which was evident from the listing) was that there is no beach view from the house or the deck immediately outside the house, so in poor weather, you can't gaze at the ocean while being sheltered from the weather. But this is common in many beachfront homes where the beach view from the house is often limited. The owners were easy to deal with particularly when we had trouble sending our rental deposit. All in all, a very positive experience!

Great location. Loved the beach deck. House was spacious and very nice. Kitchen well stocked. The only down was the outdoor shower was a little exposed but some towels on the railing helped. Hope to return.

We stayed last year for the same week and this year enjoyed the house just as much. Please look at my review from last year for a more detailed description of the house. This year weather was warmer and we spent more time on the Dune Deck. The grandsons had a great time finding crabs on the jetty and playing in the tide pools. Everything works well and I know Marcia and Chris spend time here themselves so they know how the house is working. We came in to a new fridge and as always the house is well stocked with spices and utensils. Kitchen dishwasher and washer/dryer are lifesavers. This, our second year here, was even more enjoyable as we knew our way around the area to restaurants etc. Coming in we saw miles of traffic backed up coming off the cape...SOOOO..GLAD.. we didn't have to fight our way up and down Route 6. Location is perfect. The beach was somewhat rocky as the tide went out so bring water shoes..great for the kids to explore. Don't forget to bring a starter log for s'mores at the beach fire-pit and long sticks to roast on. Again the great show of the birds in the salt-marsh so bring binoculars.

Marcia and Chris have thought of everything to make their home feel like our home for our trip to Cape Cod. Marcia even called after we arrived to do a quick "walk through" of various things around the house to make sure we were settled. The location speaks for itself with just a few steps off the deck to be on the beautiful beach. We will definitely be back!

This cottage is perfect for a family vacation. We had 5 adults and a 5 year old and 2 1/2 year old. Parents and kids used the lower level for sleeping and my husband and I and my daughter used 2 of the upstairs bedrooms. We even had room for my sister to come for an overnight. The cottage has everything including a dishwasher and laundry, which is great. The two decks gave us plenty of outside space to play, eat and relax and then the beach is stony but it always has been and the rocks fascinate the kids. My grandson was swimming and the water was unbelievably warm. The view from the kitchen window is spectacular.The cottage is light and airy and welcoming. We had a wonderful time.

Two families of 4 (and 2 girlfriends) had plenty of space in this wonderful vacation spot!! Everything you need for cooking or serving was at your fingertips! We especially enjoyed evenings around the fire right on the beach!! I would highly recommend this for a great family vacation... only drawback is the extremely rocky beach... bring water shoes and you’re all set!!!

We shared this home with another family, nine of us in all. The pictures do not do it justice. I was worried it would be too small...but for no reason. The location was perfect and there was plenty of room to be able to spread out and not be on each others' toes. I was able to wake up everyday and sit on the private beach with my coffee and that is priceless! The location was easy to get to, and close to route 6, so relatively easy to get anywhere! The beach fire pit was used nightly! I would recommend beach shoes, since the beach is pretty rocky, but enough sandy area to make it comfortable and fun. We didn’t use the dune deck too much, since the beach seemed so private. Marcia was great to work with and always quick to reply to any email or phone message. As a previous reviewer stated, neighbors on both sides are friendly, and we felt very welcomed!

We stayed the week of July 7-14 2018 with three grown children and their spouses and two grandchildren 1 & 4 year old. First this is a unique setting between the salt marsh and Cape Cod Bay. The layout was nice with one bedroom and a bath on the downstairs level and three bedrooms and a bath and the kitchen on the upstairs beach level. This was Ideal for us as the family with the 1 yr. old took the downstairs.

The house is very clean and in good shape. All the mattresses were comfortable. Access to the beach is from the deck that runs around the house. Ten yards from that deck at the top of the dune is the dune deck that becomes the go to place for those not in the water. The beach was somewhat rocky when the tide was out which gave exploring opportunity to the kids but at higher tide was sand. Despite the fact the water was chilly (70) it certainly did not deter the kids from going in especially the 4 yo.

Little things make a big difference like the beach fire pit which was a nighttime experience for the kids and the fact that the beach is private is wonderful. We had contact with the people in the next cottages and they were very nice. The view of the salt marsh from the kitchen and the side deck was beautiful and bring binoculars to follow the birds.

Away from the cottage it is an easy trip to Sandwich and to some great restaurants if you don’t want to cook in the well-appointed kitchen. One of the nicest things is the location, which avoids the slow hot drive up route 6 if you go further out on the Cape, which we found no need to do. We had very hot and humid days, but with the windows open the breeze cools things well.

Marcia was very helpful both before the stay and was responsive to our own challenges when we first got there. It is useful to know that Marcia and Chris use this house at times themselves and thus are aware of how things are working.

We were looking last minute for Labor Day weekend so we're very pleasantly surprised a house like this was still available. Marcia is extremely nice and responsive and was a pleasure to correspond with.

The house itself is situated right on the water with a short 10 to 15 meter wooden walkway which leads directly to the beach with a open deck area right before the sand. There are also ample beach chairs and 2 barbecue grills in addition to a bonfire setup right on the beach itself. The house itself is tastefully furnished with a combination of homely decor and sea themed objects including shells, etc. The kitchen is well stocked with all sorts of cooking utensils including for grilling in addition to silverware and plates. Everything is kept very neat and clean. The house is also conveniently only minutes away from a Stop and Shop which we used to stock up on various foods and coals for cooking.

We had an amazing time at the house. The beach, a literal stone's throw away, was amazingly accessible and fun for group activities while also remaining very private with only a sparse amount of beach goers from the surrounding houses. The view from the beach is unobstructed and provides amazing views of the surrounding waters and in particular during dawn and dusk. The house itself was spacious for games and cooking for a group of 8, which was a good thing as it rained for most of the second day we were there.

Overall this was an amazing rental and one of the best locations on the Cape for a larger party to have a private gathering right by the beach. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone and would not hesitate to make this place our top choice again for the Cape next year.

We had a group of seven spend a week at this beautiful beach house. The location was perfect for a very quiet private beach, with an awesome fire pit where we toasted marshmallows and kept our toes warm! The house had everything needed for a relaxing week at the Cape. Plenty of room in the house to spread out and for everyone to have their own space. We loved sitting on the enclosed porch playing games at night. And the Dune Deck was probably one of our favorites too! In close proximity to all that the Cape has to offer (we found the village of East Sandwich especially nice to stroll through, a place we had never explored before). And a visit to the Glass Museum was enjoyed by all of us. And the homeowner was very easy to deal with. Memories were made that will last a lifetime.

What a great location on a private beach!! House is very spacious - much larger than it appears and is very comfortable with everything you need. Plenty of deck space to hang outside and we loved having breakfast on the dune deck overlooking the water. Being September, the beach was very quiet, and we pretty much had it to ourselves. Great sunrises & sunsets and close to restaurants & shopping if you want to go out. Glad we found this one - Thanks!! :-)

Perfectly designed home that is on the beach. There were 8 people in our group and all had plenty of room and privacy. Cooking on the deck was a pleasure and sunsets were beautiful. We would not have changed anything with this place. Everything we needed was within a 4 mile drive.

If you're looking for beach at your doorstep, Clo-Sea-Nuf is that place. No driving, lugging chairs, toys, umbrellas...it's all right there. Your own private beach. We were a party of 10 that stayed for the week and everyone of us was thrilled with this home. Plenty of space inside and out. Lots for kids to do...playing on the rock jetty or flying kites, baseball on the sand, collecting rocks and shells, beach bonfires with smores.....The house was exactly as posted..clean, and tidy! Many wonderful memories created here,....would go back in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at this home!! We are two families with four adults, two teenagers, and three young children (age 6-8). The house more than adequately fit our space needs - providing for privacy and space. The kitchen and rooms are beautiful, clean, and well stocked with every necessity. I also found that the house was cool at night with the breezes. The only drawback was a lack of a large communal dining table - however, we were creative with our mealtimes and found that the young kids loved being perched at the kitchen counter while the rest of us were around the table.

My favorite times at the house were mornings - making a cup of coffee - and then taking it down to the beach to sit by the water and just relax before everyone else woke up. Another highlight of our stay was the beach fire-pit where we had cocktails and s'mores! The beach itself is very pretty and very private - but ROCKY - I advise water shoes to make it a better experience. We visited friends who rented a house a mile away, and their beach was very crowded! So, if you are looking for quiet and calm - this is a great place! Low tide is interesting for little kids - they can go out to a sand bar and look for hermit crabs and other sea life. Mostly the bay was calm, but towards the end of our stay it got a little rougher (incoming storms) - but that provided us with the opportunity to go boogie boarding. We also rented kayaks (sit on top) - which was great fun! Also, don't forget to bring kites!

The only downside was the biting midges. We found that they were not present on windier days, but that on calm evenings, they were pesky. Using bug repellent helped a lot! We were also a little surprised by the deck - in the photo it looks like you can see the water from the dune deck. While you can see the bay if you are standing up, you can't if you are sitting - which is why the house name is so fitting! Clo-Sea-Nuff. I am only mentioning this so that you won't be surprised. It is not a big deal; instead of drinking my coffee on the deck, I went down to beach and sat on one of the comfy Adirondack chairs.

Overall - this was an incredible vacation and we had a ton of fun. The house was clean, it was big enough to accommodate all of us, and the beach was very private.

Our family of 10, ranging from age 7 to 94, experienced a week of pure enjoyment. The house suited our needs perfectly, and the direct access to the beach provided parents and kids alike safe entry for back and forth convenience. All enjoyed the nightly beach campfires in our own fire pit allowing for amazing star gazing and marshmallow roasting. We have rented homes on the Cape for the last 7 summers and our family voted this site the best yet. Can't wait for next summer!!

Looking forward to another wonderful time @ Clo-sea-nuff. This beach house is clean, bright and has that a wonderful seaside cottage charm that gives the - AHH appeal we all aspire to and need for that 'recharge' vacation time.

The kitchen is well stocked. The flow of the kitchen into the living room allowed for the cooking and the entertaining to continue hand in hand.

The beds are ALL comfy (I tried them all). Each bedroom has ample closet room and bureaus to accommodate all our belongings.

The downstairs game room was ideal for us 'night owls' while not disturbing the others that had turned in for the evening.

Having laundry on site was wonderful. Both the dune and house deck have plenty of chairs and tables so we were able to utilize both.

The tranquil beauty of the ocean and estuary are awesome. Being a 'born beachcomber, I enjoyed the serenity of finding beautifully shaped and colored beach stones to add to my already numerous collection....a real bonus for me.

Having the two full baths and outside shower was a smooth transition after a glorious day on the beach. And the 'foot faucet' was great for a quick re-entry if we needed to run into the house from the beach.

In closing, we will be back to 'Clo-sea-nuff' but unfortunately not 'soon-e-nuff'!

My family and friends visited this well appointed East Sandwich beach house right on private Spring Hill Beach in June of 2012, again in June of 2013, and we had great vacations. The 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house is spacious, up to date and nicely situated close to everything on Upper Cape Cod, and did I mention it is Right On the Beach?! No driving to a beach or paying to park, just walk outside to the spacious sun decks (yes, there are two!) and step out onto the private beach. A real Gem of a beach house and the owner Marcia really cares about her guests and was so easy to work with. I would definitely vacation here again and recommend to others.

The Cape has been a vacation spot of mine since childhood... I met my very best friend working on a cruise ship in the 80s (she is from Canada and ALWAYS wanted to visit the Cape) and, years later - both of us married with two girls each, we decided to rent Marcia and Chris's little piece of heaven on the beach. We will NEVER stay anywhere else!!!!

The house itself is adorable in every way, with tasteful, contemporary decor (Chris's paintings are stunning!), comfortable, casual furniture and views to read about!! (Seeing the sun set over the salt marsh - thru the gorgeous kitchen window - is breathtaking!!) Between the wrap around deck, outdoor shower, surf and seagulls, relaxing and breezy environment and, our favorite - the dune deck - we pretty much never leave the beach!! (Sometimes, the men, outnumbered 6 to 2, have to take a "man" trip to Hooters or Home Depot but that's okay! We don't even miss them!! ;-) We've stayed here for many, many summers and the memories, as the kids have grown from toddlers to college students, remain steadfast and precious. We will stay here until our grandkids are too embarrassed to take us anywhere!

Marcia and Chris are the most gracious of hosts and there is obvious love and devotion that goes into this home. They are warm and engaging and make genuine connections with the people who rent from them. They are available if you need them but they've arranged things so thoughtfully, you'll want for nothing. Grab some groceries, some wine and a good book and prepare to sink into a relaxing state of mind you'll never want to leave... something about this place!!! :0]

The clan returned for our 4th trip to your wonderful home! As always we had a terrific time playing at the beach, cooking lobster and taking day trips to P. Town and the zooquarium! Hoping to be back in 2013

What a beautiful Place! We felt like we were in heaven. Lots of beach strolls and teasures Everyday was a joy and new experience. Can't wait to return.
