Waterfront with a small private sandy beach, this 3-bedroom house is in an area called ''The Upper Cape.'' Wareham is also known as ''The Gateway to the Cape.'' It’s a wonderful place to vacation and is a perfect location for easy exploration of Cape Cod, Providence R.I., Newport R.I., Plymouth, and Boston.

While in the area you can visit historic attractions such as Plimoth Plantation and Plimoth Rock, New Bedford Whaling Museum, Battleship Cove, Lizzie Borden House, Roger Williams Zoo Providence R.I., Wrentham Village Premium Outlets and the Amazing Newport Mansions. There are many antique shops art galleries, outlet shops, and quaint gift shops in and around the area. There are ferry services from nearby Falmouth to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, just a half hour boat ride away to the Vineyard.

You can take a cruise along the historic Cape Cod Canal, bike, roller blade and walk along its picturesque bike path. For an extra day of fun for the family be sure to go to Wareham's ''Water Whizz'' water park. There is a beautiful public golf course ''Little Harbor'' nearby. One of the best features of this location is that you do not have the Cape Cod bumper to bumper traffic and long wait to get back and forth over the Canal bridges! We will supply a list of all above mentioned attraction with directions and e-mail links when requested. Boating 15 minutes to Canal by boat, swimming, fishing.

Great antiquing in Plymouth, New Bedford, Buzzards Bay and Sandwich. Tweeter Center & Cape Cod Melody Tent & South Shore Music Circus. Top performers in concerts and shows. Wrentham Village Premium Outlets - 170 Premium Stores only 1/2 hour away. Cape Cod Canal Cruise- out of Onset. Cape Cod Canal Bike Path – walking, jogging, biking, rollerblading, fishing.     Beautiful Stay, Great Location

    We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy waterfront home in Wareham. Swifts Beach is nearby, but we spent most of our time at Onset Beach, just a short 11 min drive away. We also did day trips to Cape Cod. On some days we just stayed home and enjoyed the relaxing water view from the backyard. You can sit by the fire pit, lie in the hammock, or kayak on the the bay.

    The house itself was immaculately clean, and the owner left extra cleaning supplies - which was a nice touch during COVID. We brought our own cleaning supplies but didn't need them. The rooms on the second floor are cozy. Plenty of closet space, with lots of hangers. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back again next year! show more show less

    The house is always incredibly clean and comfortable. Lots of space and beds to sleep in. The kitchen is well stocked. The outdoor fire pit is a family favorite with added kayaks! The private beach passes to Swifts Beach are the highlight. Kool Kone right around the corner!! The best rental. Return year after year..

    Great place!!!

    My family had an amazing time in this waterfront home. Views were beautiful. Everything was a short drive away. There is everything you need at the house and more. Mike the owner was very attentive and had everything there as he said he would.
