You can see Martha’s Vineyard from here and you are right in the middle of all the action of Woods Hole village. The dining room is lined with books. There is a new outdoor shower to wash off sandy feet back from the nearby beach. The four bedrooms are made up with luxury linens, baths well stocked with new towels, kitchen set up for cooking, a lovely deck off of french doors in the kitchen with a gas grill and teak dining table for warm summer nights.

The bedroom configuration is great for a family or a group – three bedrooms upstairs (four twin beds, one king bed) with a jacuzzi bath; one bedroom with a queen downstairs off the dining room with a bath (occupancy is up to 8 adults). The kitchen has a stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, fridge and all the plates/pots and pans needed for cooking. Or dine out at one of Woods Holes many waterfront eateries, all a three-minute walk from your house. Everyone else struggles to park in Woods Hole -- you are already here! This is part of a lovely "farm compound" with a shared lawn and driveway. It also sits above an apartment available for separate rental in case you want another room, that this is a separate entrance space with its own ventilation. <br /> <br /> Stroll for your locally- roasted coffee and a popover from the best bakery on Cape Cod. Woods Hole is a walking town and you are in the middle of it all -- great shops and a score of good restaurants and bars. You hop the Vineyard Ferry for a great day trip to the island of celebrities like James Taylor and Carly Simon. You walk ten minutes to Nobska Beach, where you swim in the warm Atlantic waters under one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world. It’s another short walk to Stoney Beach, adjacent to exclusive Penzance Point where you can swim in Buzzards Bay. You bike up the Shining Sea bikepath past yet another fantastic beach (Surf Drive) and enjoy Falmouth village and beyond. Free bikes are available to tenants on a first-come, first-served basis.<br /> <br /> Woods Hole is well located for day trips to Martha"s Vineyard, Plimouth Plantation, Hyannis, Barnstable, Sandwich, Chatham, Provincetown, Newport, Nantucket, Providence and Boston.
