Great home in a perfect location! Short walk to town and the beach. We spent so much time on the deck that overlooks the beautiful pond. The hosts were responsive and it's clear they like to provide their guest with a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend for your next trip to Woods Hole! We will be back!

This is probably the best vacation house we have ever rented. In addition to its perfect location in Woods Hole footsteps from Stony Beach and town, there are so many thoughtful amenities the owners provided to make staying there relaxing and comfortable -- mini-split air conditioning in each room, king beds, big new fridge, two full baths, and lovely deck where we ate and bird-watched. Also we appreciated what house didn't have -- no pet hair, no mold, no mildew, nothing broken. We're thankful for terrific stay and hope to return.

This is probably the best vacation house we have ever rented. Beautiful place in an amazing location!
We had a wonderful time at Leonardo's place. There was plenty of space, everything was clean, amenities were stocked, and there were toys for the kids to play with. The location was perfect, walking distance to the beach and the town. We also appreciated that they left us a bottle of wine to enjoy during our stay!

Comfortable and Convenient Woods Hole Rental
I recently stayed at this Woodhall rental and I was impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the property. The rental was well-maintained and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to shops and restaurants nearby

Great Family Vacation

The property is in a great location to walk to all of the interesting places in Woods Hole. This made a great home base for exploring Cape Cod, we enjoyed waking up each morning and enjoying the ducks on Mill Pond, our son loved the beach and playground that are both a short walk from the house. They have anything you could need in the cabinets and we appreciated the stools in the bathroom for the littles ones as well as the toy box that kept our son busy while hanging out at the house.

Fantastic Family-Friendly Spot in the Village

Had a great two night stay with two young kids. Location is excellent, easy walk to the beach, restaurants/market, and playground. House was very clean and comfortable, great space for kids to play, and plenty of children books for us to read. And a really nice view of the pond. Next time we return to WH, we'll be looking to renting here again!

Excellent location

Woods Hole was a wonderful place to visit. So many things are within walking distance - the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, museums, and aquarium. This home is perfect for a family vacation. Spacious, lots of amenities in the home, and even toys for children! The view from the windows and deck was absolutely beautiful. The hosts were responsive and understanding. I would definitely come again!

Serene stay!

Absolutely wonderful week in Woods Hole at this property- which was UBER clean, and exactly as listed in a great location. Just a stone's throw from the beach and downtown within walking/biking distance, but you could also sit on the back deck and be completely entertained by the ducks, birds and other water fowl that call the adjacent pond home. Property manager, Leo, was accessible for local tips or in case we needed anything - which we didn't, bc the home literally had everything! A very much needed relaxing week's stay with my elderly parents in their 80's - we can't wait to do it again next year!

So close to Stoney Beach and a 5 minute walk to Eel Pond, Pie in the Sky Bakery and a park with swings-we had a relaxing week with no need to get in a car (though we did take a trip to a grocery store 15 minutes away). The house was very clean, with everything we needed including a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.

Property is well maintained and fully stocked with amenities - we appreciated the use of the children's toys and beach towels. Walking distance to aquarium and quaint downtown area.

Amazing and Memorable Stay

Beautiful View & Great Location
House has amazing views of pond with lots of birds and ducks which is really fun and relaxing to watch. Proximity to Woods Hole couldn't be better. Toys for kids which my kids loved. Overall would recommend and would love to stay again! Thanks for having us!

Everything You'd Need and More
Lovely comfortable house, with every bit of convenience, as if it were your own house. Located on a quiet street facing a gorgeous pond, on which live a pair of swans and many ducks. Hosts are extremely solicitous and friendly. In sum, a place to revisit!

Lovely Stay in Woods Hole
Our family of five had a great stay in Woods Hole. The house is extremely clean, comfortable, and well located (a short walk to town, and an even shorter walk to a cute little beach, which is just around the corner). The hosts were great to work with, and we enjoyed taking their bicycles out for a couple of really wonderful bike rides to the main part of Falmouth and around Martha's Vineyard. There aren't a ton of restaurants or tourist attractions open in Woods Hole/Falmouth at this time of year (mid-April), but we enjoyed coffee and treats from Coffee Obsession, ice cream from Ben and Bill's, a trip to Highfield House and Nobska Lighthouse, and a visit to the Island Alpaca Farm and the Martha's Vineyard Camp Meeting Association on the Vineyard. Would definitely recommend a stay here as a great base for exploring the surrounding area...

Great place to stay!
This property was wonderful! It had absolutely everything we could have needed. Smooth transition in and out of the property. Beach nearby is super cute. We has toddlers in our group and there were plenty of toys there to already use (which they loved). And the adult games were great as well (love the monopoly game board). Overall I was very happy with this trip!

Great stay in Cape Cod
Spotless home perfectly located. 2 minutes to beach, 5 minutes to town. Town has cute little restaurants, bakery, coffee shop and is the start of a 10 mike bike trail as well as the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. The town of falmouth with more restaurants and cute shops is a quick 10 minute drive. Bikes and kayaks included with rental and much appreciated. Nice view over a pond as well. Highly recommend this place

Beautiful spot.
Beautiful spot. Simple, clean home, just enough amenities, comfortable beds. Can't use the pond because of algae bloom (at least in summer). Boat launch is about 1/4 m up the road. Quiet neighborhood, easy for kids to wander and ride alone. Sweet beach with no waves just down the road also. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Wood's Hole Falmouth Cape Cod Slice of Heaven
The view of the pond was amazing with each day different. The access to stores and restaurants was just right. The decor is lovely with the art and furnishings very comfortable and cottage style. Loved it!!! Owners exceptional to work with. We cannot wait to come back.

Absolutely wonderful location. Much better than most in terms of kitchen tools, pots etc. even had both Keurig and drip coffee makers. very short walk to everything in Woods Hole. also great for stroll along beach to watch sunset, go for a run, kayak. Hosts extremely responsive and helpful. Well set up for 2 couples w or w/o small children. Great neighborhood as well. Enjoyed watching all of the varied waterfowl come visit the pond. We became regulars at Pie in the sky bakery. highly recommend. The Water Street Kitchen is best restaurant in area and very popular. You should book this long in advance to make sure you get a spot (up to a month in advance and ask for window seating if possible. I could add many more suggestions, but I would recommend you do what we did and ask the owners.

We will be back!! We stayed two weeks ago, seeking a fun and easy escape on the Cape, and found it here—all the comforts of home, yet close to both beach and bustle if you want it. In a nutshell: the house is open, bright, and very well-equipped. It feels and looks new inside, a great mix of both modern and comfortable. Think wifi, free HBO, and all new furnishings, just around the corner from a family-friendly beach! It’s conveniently located close to the charming center of Woods Hole as well, with about a five-minute walk into town.

House details: The house sits on a pond and is very bright and airy inside, with lots of light from the many windows (and an outside deck) overlooking the pond. We entered the front door using a convenient key pad and were immediately struck by the clean, fresh, updated look inside. The main living area feels both spacious and cozy with its open lay-out; there was plenty of space but we liked seeing the big screen TV in the living room while making breakfast in the kitchen!

The kitchen itself was well-equipped with new larger appliances and plenty of smaller ones—including a toaster, toaster oven, microwave, and a coffee maker for whole or ground coffee. In the hallway we found (and used!) a new stackable washer and dryer. We stayed in the rooms with king beds, and found the beds comfortable, the furnishings modern, and the area quiet for sleeping. Both bathrooms in the house had double sinks!

The Woods Hole area: We really liked the quaintness and authentic feel of Woods Hole. It’s got seaside charm and convenience without being over-commercialized. We could walk into town from the house and explore the main streets easily by foot. The village itself is not large, but it’s home to shops, restaurants, a yummy bakery, and an ocean-friendly vibe. (A science aquarium and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution are right in town; aquarium seals get fed most days at 11 and 4!) The closest beach to the house is Stoney Beach—sweet, sandy, and just around the corner. We also ventured for dinner one night to nearby Falmouth center, which has a lively main street only a five to ten-minute drive away.

We’d like to come back to take advantage of two activities we missed: one is biking on the nearby Bikeway, and the other is taking the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. With the Martha’s Vineyard ferry terminal walking distance from the house (about 7/10 of a mile away), next time we’re taking a day trip to the Vineyard!
