Nobska Point House: Water views and use of private beach

This will be our fifth year renting the house for the season. In that time we have had only 4 renters and all of the came by word of mouth and were recommended by friends. With one exception, they were absolutely perfect. We welcomed large families and extended families and encourage them to enjoy the house and gardens.

The cottage is close to the house but has a very separate feel. Rustic but comfortable we have had a large number of renters over about 20 years - many were repeats and we are glad to welcome them back.

We are lucky to have someone on the property that can attend to minor problems that occur almost immediately. I am always available to answer questions of almost any kind.


What is special about this property?
Our house is one of 5 on 38 acres. Quiet and peaceful, we overlook Nobska Beach and Vineyard Sound.
A large garden in front of the house is one of many on the property. (We do ask guests to respect the privacy of the other homes)

What is special about your town?
Woods Hole is a small town with amazing things going on. Four scientific institutions are located here, music events are abundant and the Woods Hole Film Festival provides great entertainment in the middle of the summer.
Children are safe here and there are many opportunities for day time entertainment - sailing, science schools, tennis, arts and crafts, etc.
And of course there are beaches - The house rental allows you to use a cabana at Nobska Beach - a short walk or drive away
There are many restaurants here. Martha's Vineyard is a quick ferry ride away and the many restaurants in Falmouth are a 5 minute drive.
