Our home is the perfect retreat for those who enjoy nature, science, cultural events, beaches and lobster rolls! The house overlooks a small pond that serves as spectacular habitat to countless species (except humans - sorry, no pond access permitted) providing a seasonal symphony of birds, frogs, and other wildlife.
We are located on a private street about 1 mile to Nobska Beach and ¾ mile to Shining Sea Bikeway, The bike path provides quick access to Woods Hole village, with much beloved coffee shops, bakeries, seasonal shops and eateries. Many year-round activities and events including lectures, readings, film festival and concerts in WH and nearby Falmouth. Enjoy the beaches of Vineyard Sound and Buzzards Bay, and convenient ferry service for easy day trips to Martha's Vineyard. There is daily bus service from WH village to Logan Airport and downtown Boston.

Our fully furnished, well-stocked home has an open floor plan on the main level, with sliding doors opening to large deck, and picture windows providing beautiful year-round views. Main level primary bedroom suite has private deck, small desk area and bathroom with shower. Upper level has smaller bedrooms w/twin beds, a shared bathroom with tub/shower, and balcony that opens to living space below. Lower level has laundry and seasonally available outdoor shower.     Quiet space and location with gorgeous views. Perfect stay for our family of four within a mile to Woods Hole, bike paths, and beaches. If you don't want to be bothered, you won't. If you want to engage in the loveliest local community, it's within minutes by car, bike, or foot. Even better are the owners who provided detailed guides to amenities in the house, the area, and were a text message away from any of our needs. One of our best ever vacation stays!     What is special about this property?
    Enjoyed for 50+ years by family of architects, artists, writers, scientists, the house is quite special to us. Our home is very comfortably furnished and filled with colorful family belongings. Cozy enough to be enjoyed solo or with others, ideal for a one month stay or longer retreat. The perfect place to finish (or start) that novel you've been meaning to write!


    What is special about your town?
    Woods Hole is home to world-renowned research institutions, Marine Biological Laboratory and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. In addition to marine science, WH has a thriving arts community of visual artists, filmmakers, writers and musicians. Local favorites offer some of the BEST coffee, fare, treats on the Cape!
