This comfortable, roomy family house, which is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the picturesque Gansett Woods area, is perfect for fun-filled vacations or quiet retreats. It is a two minute walk to the beautiful private neighborhood beach and a fifteen minute walk to the village, with public tennis courts, a playground, library and ferries to the Islands. It has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a sleeping porch and a pull-out queen sofa in the sun room.
The wood paneled living room, which has a large stone fireplace and a piano, opens into the dining room, creating a pleasant and ample space for entertaining. A large enclosed sun-porch, with treetop views over the neighborhood, extends from the dining room and gets lovely light throughout the day. The sunny eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender and lobster pot. The shower is in a separate room from the bathroom, providing easy access for a quick rinse after swimming. Also on the main floor is a wood paneled bedroom with a queen-sized bed.

The front and backyards are enclosed by trees, and provide a peaceful space for grilling, swinging or reading in the hammock. The driveway can fit three to four cars, and bicycles.
The house is in a very special location in a wonderful old neighborhood. The private beach is a gathering point for neighbors both during the day and at sunset. It a perfect beach for children to play and explore.
The walk to town provides an expansive view of Buzzards Bay, and leads to the Aquarium, the scientific institutions and the many attractions of this renowned village. There are numerous restaurants and bakeries, and always an abundance of lectures, concerts and many family friendly activities everyday. There is a well-used bikepath for short or long bike rides and runs, and Nobska lighthouse and beach to enjoy.
