We are located in a private 24/hr Gated community with access to five private beaches on Nantucket Sound and Lewis Bay. We have views of Nantucket Sound. This beautiful, architect-designed home has been featured as the Home of the Week in the Boston Globe. Consisting of four bedrooms plus an additional informal sleeping area over the garage for teens. There is a queen master suite on main floor, an upstairs bedroom with a Queen and a Twin, another upstairs bedroom with a Queen a twin; an additional brand new upstairs Queen Master Suite with new ensuite bathroom, plus a media room on the main floor with an optional 'full' (double) size sofabed. Informal Loft over the garage for teens (no a/c or heat in the loft), which has two twin beds and view of the pool (this loft has outside access only from the upper deck). Our Home is ideal for four couples. We can also accommodate up to four children. Limit of 10 guests, please!

Great Island is a private, gated enclave with five private beaches, the main beach with pure white sugary sand being about a 10 minute walk away. That beach is next to 370 Great Island Road (Google it). This has been our family home for over 50 years, and 2024 will be the 20th summer we have rented in season to guest families. Well behaved pets may bring their owners!

Private heated pool. The home is updated and improved yearly. Nespresso coffee maker. Yamaha Conservatory grand. We feature towels by The Turkish Towel Company of Middleton, Mass. after we discovered this brand in Bed & Breakfasts in Newport, Kennebunkport as well as the Taj in Boston. (We even have special black Turkish Towels to remove makeup!) We feature pillows by Cuddledown made in Freeport, Maine with German filling, after discovering these at the Nonantum resort in Kennebunkport. We have a 4 burner Weber Genesis II oversized grill with stainless steel components. Nespresso Expresso machine. Sonos sound system. Netfilx, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney+. We also get a 24 hr Italian station (RAI) if you want to practice your language skills!
Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel furnishings and lighting throughout the house. Living room furnishings by Macy's. Constantly updated interior looks like a featured home in Cape Cod Life. Three full baths, one half bath plus architect designed outside redwood shower enclosure with dressing area. Two bathrooms have double sinks, house has a total of seven sinks including a bar sink in Media room.

You can walk to a pretty tidal beach in about 2 minutes or take a short stroll to the lovely private white sand beach. The kitchen is sizable and fully equipped with everything you need. The house has added sleeping quarters in a loft. The house is clean, the beds are comfortable and even the pool lounges are lovely. It's clear this house is well loved, with family photos and interesting books and artwork all around. We hope to return for many years to come and are thankful to the homeowners for their continued hospitality. You will not be disappointed!''
