Mario and Angelo were such great hosts. The house was clean, well appointed and just the right distance from the ferry and the beaches. The deck was amazing for early morning coffee and evening cocktails and apps. The fact that we had 7 spectacular beach days was a super added bonus to our great family vacation. Thank you for opening your home to us, we made many great memories.

My family and I had a perfect week at the Chappy House! It had all the amenities we needed and was a quiet, spacious property for my husband and I to bring our seven children (ages 12-22). It allowed for us to retreat to a peaceful home after busy or leisurely days exploring Chappaquiddick or Martha's Vineyard. The home itself was light and roomy and we enjoyed morning coffee and evening cocktails on the wonderful deck. The outdoor showers were also a highlight! The location was perfect for us as we enjoyed driving or even walking to the chappy ferry or even East beach. The property is tucked away with easy access to all the island has to offer. Highly recommended by all of us!

This is such a beautiful home on Chappy! My extended family has stayed in this house for three or four years in a row. The house is in perfect condition and has everything we need. Highlights include the two outdoor showers, the fire pit that we use every night and make s'mores at, the en suite bedrooms, and the bunkhouse which has two bedrooms for whoever wants a little more privacy. Most importantly the outdoor space where the kids run around and where we saw deer and heard owls and woodpeckers etc. We loved being in a place that felt so remote and was only 5 minutes from edgartown. Such a great place!!

This is our second time staying at this house on Chappy. It was perfect for our group and we loved the easy access to the Chappy beaches and quick trip to Edgartown from the Chappy ferry. The house has a great layout and the decking all around is so nice for enjoying the outside. The bedrooms are a great size and everyone has the quiet space. Also right down the road is Blackbird Cafe for coffee and bagels, etc. and fresh flowers and vegetables at Slip Away Farm. It was a great trip to MV!

This was an exceptional home. My friends and I had a great time here. The space is beautiful with tremendous outdoor space as well. Everything is well cared for, Clean, and convenient. We will plan to come back.

Very fun location. Private and unique setting. We felt safe and at home in the house. The property was very clean, and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. We were a party of 8 (4 couples) and had plenty of room. We didn't use the additional loft space. If you are looking for a unique Cape Cod experience this is it. Chappaquiddick is quiet, classic, and slow. Just perfect. The short ferry ride is fun. Just leave time in your plans if you are driving and the waiting line is long especially at dinner time. Better to walk on the ferry and have dinner in Edgartown. Keep it simple.

Great place to stay for our business trip. Beautiful place. Angela reached out from the very beginning just confirming everything. A few days before our stay we were sent a packet with lots of helpful information and recommendations. Definitely recommend this stay! We already have another trip planned for the end of the month!

Thank you, Angela and Mario. We enjoyed our stay very much. The bunkhouse allowed a small child to keep their own sleep schedule, and a gate blocking the loft in the main house made it safe for them. The furnishings are clean, comfortable, and uncluttered. There are beautiful houseplants throughout and a nice library.
In the off-season, we had the beaches, trails, and Mytoi Garden nearly to ourselves. What a peaceful and restorative vacation!

This was a beautiful home. The architectural design of the house is impressive. It is quite remote and very quiet, more remote than we expected but it was perfect for us for the weekend. Angela & Mario were quick to respond to our question about access and we so appreciated that. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed at this quiet and secluded home on Chappaquiddick Island. The home is 1.3 miles to the Chappy Ferry which makes it easy to get on and off the island is a quick 90 second trip across to Edgartown where we found shops, bars & restaurants. The home is spacious and well laid out and has a great kitchen which had all the dishwater utensils and cooking items we needed. The deck is a fabulous place to have dinner each night or to read books or just relax. Beds are super comfortable and air conditioning works well during the warmer months. My husband really enjoyed the outdoor showers too. Owners were very responsive to the few questions we had. Overall great house made for a fantastic family vacation.

Loved staying at The Chappy House! Angela And Mario were quick to respond and very communicative / thorough on all things house related, and gave great tips on staying in the area. The house was lovely! Nice Scandinavian feeling, and the privacy is great for a big group. The kitchen was well stocked including great knives! Hope to return next year!

Perfect Winter Getaway on Chappy!
Our family had a wonderful trip and stay at The Chappy House on Chappy! The house was more than comfortable, well equipped with everything we needed, great location on Chappy with easy access to ferry and all of the beautiful beaches for our winter beach walks with the kids. We had a great time at this unique property. It's so peaceful on Chappaquiddick. The house is well appointed, stylish and comfortable. We'd definitely stay there again!

Angela & Mario have a wonderful home tucked away into the woods of Chappy (3-5 min drive from ferry). Their home is bright and open with a clean, minimal aesthetic -- absent are the chotskies so annoyingly typical in vacation homes. I particularly appreciated that the kitchen tools were well stocked -- good knives and pans, plenty of prep bowls, nice quality glassware and plastic outdoor alternatives, kids plates, etc. Additionally they were outstanding hosts. Before our travel they anticipated my questions and communicated well in advance. When I had follow-up questions, they were quick to respond. And when we arrived at their home, they generously welcomed us with a couple of bottles of sparkling wine. Top notch experience. Thank you!!
