I have stayed at this home with my partner a handful of times over the last few years, and we have always enjoyed our time here. The house has undergone continuous upkeep and upgrades, which tells me the owners really care about this property. I love how convenient it is to the beach and "downtown" oak bluffs. Walking into Oak Bluffs from this rental is a very easy way to enjoy all the food and drinks the town has on offer. Working with Kendra on booking is always a pleasure, she is very responsive. I absolutely loved this home and my time on Martha's Vineyard! It is comfortable and private with lots of little nooks to sneak away to and a large private yard and deck. But most of all you can't beat the location. I enjoyed taking my coffee out in the mornings for a walk along the bluff to the lighthouse and to the local beach in the evenings. You also get a great view of sunset from the East Chop bluff (save yourself the crowds and drive time to Menemsha and walk the bluff for an incredible sunset view!). If I wanted a bit more excitement I could take the quick 10 minute walk into Oak Bluffs to grab food, shop, etc.

Unlike a lot of vacation homes that can feel a bit sterile you really feel that this is a private, well-loved, family home first. It is full of antiques and tastefully decorated. I have stayed here several times during shoulder seasons (mainly in May and September/October) and plan on coming back. Highly recommend! show more show less

Spent a week in this charming house in the best location in Oak Bluffs. The house was charming, full of antiques and very comfortable. It has a great kitchen to gather in, a deck to relax on and a pretty yard to enjoy. Very comfortable for a large group or family with space to spread out. We truly loved the location and being able to enjoy daily walks to town, area restaurants, the beach or the lighthouse. If you are looking for a place to stay be sure to check it out!

We love this house! It's the perfect place for our annual family vacations. Close to the beach and town and the house is adorable. We have a big family with a mix of kids and adults and we never feel cramped. The yard is perfect for everyone. We will rent every year!

Our family spent a week at this lovely house that provides an unusual degree of privacy yet proximity to the busy hubbub of Oak Bluffs. It was so comfortable to stay here -- the kitchen had everything we needed, and the deck provided enough chairs for all of us to soak up the sun, prepare meals, and eat outside. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was clean and well maintained. We loved the tasteful way it was furnished and the variety of spaces that were available to relax within the house.

A highlight of our vacation was our daily walk to the lighthouse just down the road. Our children loved going to the nearby beach, and we were happy that the market was nearby for last minute provisions. Our only complaint was that we had to leave and return to work! show more show less
