I chose this home for my family vacation and it did not disappoint! It was the perfect space for us to get together, the pictures do no do it justice. We had more than enough space for kids to play and for the adults to sit and enjoy. The patio is amazing! We were usually on the patio during the day and living room by night. Also easy walking distance to town and to the beach. Parking was easy as well. I just loved how much my family enjoyed themselves. My grandparents who are late 80s and early 90s even shared how much they loved staying there with the family. I can't forget that Denise was also extremely accommodating and responsive. My 8th year vacationing on the Vineyard was a wonderful experience. The homeowner was AWESOME and available for questions leading up to and during my vacation. I look forward to staying here again.

My husband and I had the great pleasure of vacationing for a week on Martha's Vineyard. We stayed at a beautiful home called Leander's lLeisure. It was just after the summer rush. This home is in a great location. Sunrise by the water. Riding as well as walking trails. Short drive to eateries. This home is spacious and well kept, fully stocked kitchen with glasses, plates, utensils etc. You can rent or bring your own linens. There is a large deck for gathering or just lounging. This home has several bathrooms and bedrooms for large families. And parking right outside your door. It was a very relaxing week for us. We highly recommend Leander's Leisure. show more show less

This is a wonderful older house in an excellent location. Our group of 10 was very comfortable in its warm and cozy setting. Everyone had their own favorite place to hang out. For some it was the spacious living room , for others the delightful sitting room with views of the large park directly across from it, for yet others it was the spacious deck, and even in late September many of our party found ourselves sunbathing there, or just having coffee in the morning or drinks and snacks in the evening. For all of us it was the up to date kitchen and lovely dining room for dinners together in the evening. There is also a breakfast room where one of our party could be found beading for a couple of hours each day. The house is exactly as described by the owner, while the location couldn't be better. You can walk along the park to the famous Inkwell Beach in about 3 minutes (one of our favorite activities was to take a book and some snacks to the benches above the beach and read for an hour or so). The main street of Oak Bluffs, Circuit Avenue, with its many shops and restaurants, is within easy walking distance from the house, as are most of the principal attractions of Oaks Bluff including the famous camp grounds, a fantasy place of charming small Victorian homes with tons of delightful gingerbread circling a central park. In season, the church there is active and very open and inviting. The pier is also within easy walking distance for afternoon eating, drinking, or dining. For fine dining on the pier in the evening don't miss Nancy's. There's ample parking in from of the house, while the buses on MV are cheap and simple and can take you most everywhere (with the exception of Chappaquiddick--well you can take a bus to taken the Chappy ferry across to enjoy the views of Edgartown from the public beach there, but you will need a bike or a car to explore the rest of Chappaquiddick with its spectacular wildlife preserves, beaches, and the wonderful Japanese Garden, My Toi open, free, and lovely in any season). You'll need a vehicle (or take the bus as already mentioned) to other notable parts of the island. Don't miss the old fishing village of Menemsha to enjoy wonderful fish and seafood and glorious sunsets,. Another must see are the beautiful Gay Head Bluffs with its wonderful lighthouse. There are several light houses on the island, and perhaps the most spectacular is the one in Edgartown. show more show less

The house was perfect for our family vacation. Very spacious. Even though there were 11 of us, we never felt like we were on top of each other. the location is great. Walking distance to the beach, stores, restaurants, arcade & ice cream for the kids! My favorite part of the house is the outside, the deck & outdoor shower. The deck is huge. Big enough that we were able to set up our bean bag game. Lots of chairs to relax. The outdoor shower was awesome, I actually never used the indoor showers. Well appointed house. So warm and welcoming. Perfect views --- overlooking quiet Waban Park. Bonus, we were steps from Inkwell Beach. Lovely, Lovely home. Spotless! Clean! Every detail you know was touched by a kind heart. Denise, the host was so responsive and kind. I am very particular, and she was on top of every question. We will be back again and again!

My group of 11 people thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. The house is huge (we never felt on top of each other), with plenty of beds and great amenities. The house was stocked with everything we needed, and more! We particularly enjoyed the enormous outdoor deck, where we spent most of our time grilling and lounging. The house overlooks Waban Park, which provides plenty of green space for outdoor activities, and Oaks Bluff downtown is only a 7-10 minute walk away. The beach is a 2 minute walk down the street. The house is close to everything, but is tucked away on a quiet street off the main road. We truly felt as though we had our own little oasis. Also, Denise (the owner) was a pleasure to work with, and was prompt with responding to emails and addressing any questions. We will definitely be back next year! Thanks, Denise! show more show less

Just love this home. My family and crew stay here every year in May and there is no other home on the island we would rather be than right here. The owner is responsive and gets 5-stars for always being available and answering questions along with keeping a very beautiful and tidy home. The accommodations are perfect for a large family and group and the home offers 3 bathrooms plus an additional shower outside, which is more than most homes on the island. You can't beat the location close to the beach and walking distance in to town. I just love this home in Oak Bluffs and if you are considering, you will fall in love with it too! show more show less
