You want to be: Near Eastville Beach? Near Oak Bluffs center? Near bus line? Near Chef Dion restaurant (our family's favorite*)? Near other restaurants and shops? Near a service station? Near a used bookstore? Near MV Hospital? All are within walking distance of this home.

Inside the fare is simple. Good furniture. Good beds. Great kitchen. Bathroom with tub shower. Three bedrooms, two with doubles one with a twin. Laundry center. Spacious back yard. Picnic table. Outside shower..

We say that Oak Bluffs jumps. To be sure it is the liveliest of the Vineyard towns. Circuit Avenue is the place to be. Lots of life there. Sit on the bench outside Ben and Bill's Chocolate Emporium (chocolatiers extraordinaire & ice cream flavors for every taste) and watch families, teenagers, duffers, duffettes, kids in strollers, kids in tow. All the world's races, all the world's attire. All the world's characters - they will be walking by. You will see them in the time it takes to eat your hot fudge sundae. Ben and Bills is where we get our weekly chocolate fix: Hot fudge layered over Black Forest Ice Cream with whip cream, nuts and a cherry....what could be tastier?

More restaurants, high end and mid (nothing low end on the Vineyard) than you can shake a stick at. More shops to suit the whims of every shopper. Tee shirts/sweatshirts, souvenirs, anyone? If you are awake and wide eyed, chances are you might see the Clintons or Obamas, (Assuredly not the current president. smile) US Senators and Reps, TV, Film and Music celebs. The famous and the infamous.

All this to see and be in Oak Bluffs when you rent this home.

*Chef Dion serves up honest food. Nothing fancy but his Conch Chowder is not to be missed. Nor his heaping platter of fresh veggie salad. Prices are modest. Food is generous. Atmosphere is simple.
