    A true hidden Gem tucked away in E. Chop Martha's Vineyard

    We loved our stay at Sugaree and loved everything about it. From the moment we entered it was well equipped with everything you needed for a relaxing and comfortable visit. The location is just perfect tucked away in a Magical Setting with ocean views from almost every room. Our favorite room was the enclosed porch to sip coffee/tea in the morning and then take a short walk to town or bike ride. Each room has its own charm and character with a colorful palette that just relaxed my family!!! From bathrooms, to kitchen, to bedrooms everything was renovated and updated. The backyard it enormous for some wonderful family games and for entertaining. A True Romantic and Magical getaway!!!
    Loved it all and will be back again next year!!!! We certainly did Shake It Shake it!!!! Once you go to Sugaree you will know what this means!!!     show more show less

    Charming home!

    This house is a little gem! This tastefully renovated summer cottage, served as a comfortable home-base for our island vacation. The home is well supplied with high quality kitchenware, furnishings and linens. It was very clean and provided ample space for both indoor and outdoor social gatherings. The location in Oak Bluffs near town and beaches and a short bike ride to Vineyard Haven, makes it a convenient location for dining, shopping and recreation.     Sweet Sugaree

    Sugaree was a great place to stay on our vacation. We loved the charm of the house which had an old gingerbread feel but with modern amenities. Kitchen is stocked with everything we needed to cook a big family meal!! We loved the big outdoor shower but were happy to use the updated new shower inside when it rained Love all the decor and colors in the house. Plenty of bath and beach towels and loved being able to use the new washer and dryer. The screened in porch is the best with views of the water loved having my morning coffee in there.The location is ideal to walk or ride bikes to beach, store and to town. show more show less

    Sweet Sugaree

    We had the best vacation at Sugaree! The house is so sweet and full of charm. It's so clean and completely updated with a brand new kitchen and bathrooms. The house is well stocked with lots of fluffy beach and bath towels and beautiful bedding. The host was so easy to work with and incredibly responsive to all our questions. Walking to town and the public beach on East Chop was super easy but one of our favorite spots was the comfy screened porch. There are water views from almost every room. We loved it and we will definitely return! show more show less

    What is special about this property?
    We bought this home 2 years ago. It was in desperate need of repair, but we loved how charming it was. We just spent the past year completely renovating it from top to bottom. It has brand new EVERYTHING but still has all the charm. We love Marthas Vineyard and want to share our home with people who love the charm of this type of cottage, but can also enjoy all the updated amenities and comfort.
    Our home is magical and sits in a private park on East Chop. You can walk to town and local beaches.
    We are renting Saturday to Saturday, but can be flexible if your request fits well with the calendar. So please reach out if there are days that work better for you, and we will try to make it work.
