The Loft at Ginsey is a secluded, fully furnished and equipped second-floor studio apartment located above a detached garage in a quiet residential neighborhood of Oak Bluffs. The garage itself is not part of the rental. The Loft is within easy walking distance of downtown, the ferries, and the beach. Downtown Oak Bluffs is approximately a 15-minute walk, the Oak Bluffs ferries are about a 20-minute walk, and Inkwell Beach is less than a mile away. Tony’s Market, Black Joy Restaurant, and the Arts District are just three short blocks away.

The apartment is an open-plan studio, well suited for a couple, solo traveler, or small group of up to three adults. Sleeping accommodations include a queen-size bed and a twin pull-out bed. The studio has a full bathroom with shower as well as an additional outdoor shower shared with guests of the main house.

The Loft has a full kitchen that is stocked with cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils, and other kitchen essentials. The apartment is fully furnished, and sheets, bath towels, and beach towels are provided. Guests need only bring their clothes, toiletries, personal items, and food.<br /> <br /> The Loft also includes air conditioning, Wi-Fi, television, and its own washer and dryer. A private deck provides additional outdoor space for relaxing after a day at the beach or exploring the Island.<br /> <br /> Located on the property of a private home in an established Oak Bluffs neighborhood, the Loft offers a quieter setting than staying directly in the center of town while keeping much of Oak Bluffs within walking distance. Tony’s Market is a convenient neighborhood market just a few blocks away for groceries and everyday necessities. For a larger grocery trip, Reliable Market is located in downtown Oak Bluffs, with additional supermarkets elsewhere on the Island.<br /> <br /> A car is not necessary for a stay at the Loft. Guests can walk into town for restaurants, shops, nightlife, the harbor, and other attractions, or head to nearby Inkwell Beach. Island bus service and the nearby ferries also make it possible to arrive and explore without a car. For guests who do bring a vehicle, off-street parking is provided for one car, with additional street parking available as permitted by the Town of Oak Bluffs.<br /> <br /> The Loft at Ginsey offers the independence and conveniences of a private apartment in a location that makes it easy to enjoy Oak Bluffs and the rest of Martha’s Vineyard. read more show less
