West Tisbury is the ideal Vineyard town, and my lovely and charming year-round home is your ideal location in West Tisbury. We are located just 1/2 mile from a Land Bank property called Sepiessa where there is a pond and beach access.The house sits on 1.8 secluded acres and is perfect for a family of 4 or 2 couples!* There are lots of windows which give you the feeling of being outside when you're inside.
*There is a $150./night charge for over 4 people with Homeowner approval.

The house is truly unique in many ways. The living room and den are upstairs (along with the master bedroom, bathroom, and an office). The kitchen is downstairs along with a bathroom, bedroom, and sun room/greenhouse. There is a suspended hallway upstairs that connects to an addition that houses a large bedroom, hallway, half bath, and a separate entryway. The house is located at the end of a well-maintained dirt road, and thus it is quiet and private.

Approximately one mile from the property is the historic West Tisbury town center, where there is Alley's General Store and the public library. You will also have access to our beautiful town beach at Lambert's Cove, just a 10 minute drive about 4 miles away.

Another unusual feature of this property is a small, separate building that houses a fitness studio where the homeowner, a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer, conducts a fitness class MW&F 8-9:15am Renters may take this class free of charge during their stay.

Please note that there is a loft in the fitness studio where the Homeowner usually stays while the house is rented. This can come in handy if the renters have any questions or needs during their stay!

Due to the vast array of floor plants, including cacti, and several stairways that are not carpeted, as well as several glass doors that pivot into an unforgiving hard floor that is 2 steps below the level of the kitchen, this house is not suitable for toddlers or children under 6 years old.

There really are endless things to do on Martha's Vineyard in the summer. Our property is centrally located to about everything: shopping, beaches, bike paths, galleries, and most importantly, woods, birds, and the sound of the surf, which you can hear from the back yard!
