We recently had a wonderful week staying at this lovely home on the Vineyard.

We had a small group of just four - two adults and two teens. The teens set up in the downstairs suite and enjoyed having their own space which included a living/lounging area with comfy seating, a bathroom and a bedroom with a comfortable bed. We adults stayed in the master bedroom which featured a comfy bed, beautiful sliders/small balcony and wonderful built in drawers/cabinets as well as a nice closet and ensuite bath. The upstairs bedrooms all had ceiling fans and there are two "zones" for the climate control - one Ecobee thermostat controls the main floor and the second floor is controlled by an Ecobee thermostat in the master BR. We brought two fans as we really like white noise but possibly could have managed with just the ceiling fan in the master. The lower level definitely needed the fan for noise so we're glad to have brought. There was definitely more room to accommodate much larger parties- basically we had three bedrooms that were completely unused, yet we had more than plenty of space for ourselves.

In terms of the common space, the bight and airy kitchen had everything we needed regarding amenities. We mainly cooked breakfast at the house, packed lunch for the beach and ate dinners out so we did not take full advantage. The fridge has an ice maker and they have a water filter/pitcher available. The house is really well set up with lots of puzzles, games and books to amuse families. We especially enjoyed the ring toss game and all became experts.

The house has a nice dog crate in the living room as well as a dog bed; we brought our own dog beds (one for main floor and one for bedroom) but never left our dog in the house by himself as we took him everywhere.When you make a left out of the driveway there is a wooded path on the opposite side of the street that is perfect for riding bike or walking with your dog. If you take a right out of the driveway a short wooded path brings you to a paved bike path (less good for walking dogs but great for biking)!

The yard/property was also beautiful - the back patio had a very large table as well as a hammock and other chairs and there was also a volleyball net but we didn't have any time to spend enjoying that since we were busy out and about the island. The outdoor shower was very nice after a day at the beach. We did visit the association pool once which was refreshing and not crowded, had a few lounge chairs and tables.

Getting the pass to use Lambert's Cove was fantastic, we were there every morning with our dog for dog time on the beach (before 10am). It is truly one of the most gorgeous beaches and a huge benefit to renting this house. The pass was easy to get at the park & rec shed at the school for $75. Well worth it - highly recommend getting a coveted Lamberts Cove pass.

This house is truly an "escape" as described as it is a bit off the beaten path - it's a 5-10 minute drive just down the street to the driveway so it is a bit longer to get over to edgartown or oak bluffs but relatively close to vineyard haven, lamberts cove, both Cronigs' and the fairgrounds for the farmers market.

The property owner was incredibly clear in communications and instructions and a wonderful hostess. She returned the security deposit promptly. We have been renting on the vineyard for about 14 years and stayed at >10 places and this was one of the nicest. Also, the Sunday-Sunday travel was SO much easier for ferry etc.

Our family has visited the Vineyard starting in the 90s and have stayed in lots of different houses over the years. This house is one we would come back to for sure. It was very well appointed especially kitchen supplies. They had everything you needed to cook meal, which we like to do together as a family. We had 8 people and there was room to spread out including the lovely picturesque backyard. One big plus was easy access to the paved trails for bike riding or walking which we did everyday. We had a week with great weather and no issues getting into the property. Definitely a serene and restful place. We all enjoyed ourselves and noted this was the best house we've stayed in. Hoping we get back next year.

This property was better than we could imagine. The house was spacious, clean, and contained everything that we could possibly need for a weeks stay. We had a large tile problem with the downstairs toilet which was fixed immediately. We have stayed in this development for years and loved the space, both the odors and outside to relax in. Thank you so much for that lovely experience and we will be back!

We love our time at this home. We visit the island every year for a week (for past 10+ years). This is the perfect environment for both large and small groups. Lovely backyard with tons of space to play, relax (a great hammock) and grill. Bike path is literally a stone's throw away. Basement is renovated with a modern flair and is a very comfortable space to watch a movie (big tv with surround sound speakers!) or gather as a group (sink and fridge for bar-like use). Has a community pool a 3 minute drive away that we used many times for cooling off and fun with our teen-aged-kids.

House is approx. the middle of the island so a slightly longer drive to get to tourist areas of Oak Bluffs and Edgartown. We really liked this as it is so nice to be away from the crowds and congestion of the beachgoers.

Host is easy to communicate and very prompt in responding.

This was my family's second stay at this magical property and since we had so much fun last year, we stayed for two weeks this time and it was still not enough. The house is perfectly set up for families, there is enough space throughout the house for folks to relax and not be on top of each other. The house is equipped with everything you can ever imagine you might need, they even had beach toys and chairs for us to use. The location of the property might be the best in MV!!! Its located in the most secluded and private street with access to pool and tennis courts, there is a wonderful road that gives you a great 3mile run surrounded by nature and very little traffic, great for kids riding bikes and scooters as well. You are short drive away from Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven and Edgartown. The backyard of the house is huge and open to many games on the wonderful lawn, there is even a badminton net set-up with plenty of rackets in the garage. The hosts are absolutely wonderful, responsive and timely with any inquiry I had. And last but not least, the house is absolutely spotless and just feels like home, there is central AC and plenty of bathrooms, games for the kids and multiple areas for watching TV!!! Cannot wait to be back to this amazing house next year!!!

We stayed for a week at this house and had an amazing experience! The house has a very convenient floorplan to accommodate two families. We stayed as 4 adults and 4 kids and the stay was incredibly spacious. AC was definitely a huge bonus on the hotter days.

The backyard was incredible. It had a lot of space to run around and included a nice wooden playground, volleyball net, hammock and nice lounge area for the adults.

The house is also located a short drive away from one of the top beaches in MV!

We stayed at the house with 4 kids and it was the most perfect property. This is our 9th year renting on the island and this house got everything you will ever need and the most wonderful hosts! Looking forward to going back!!!!

We had such a great time at this home. We had more than enough room and the owners are great. The kids were comfortable and the adults felt safe. Even our dog loved the house. We will definitely go back next year.

This is a great house with a great yard. Pictures don't do it justice. Accommodated our family of 5 with plenty of room to spare. Renovated basement is a great private apartment in itself. Yard was huge and located on the bike trail. Neighborhood is quiet and woodsy. Didn't think we would use the community pool but we did and the kids loved it. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The house is spacious, well kept, most pleasantly decorated, nicely equipped. The furniture (including the beds) are clean, comfortable and are just what one wants from a vacation house to help foster that relaxed and get-away feeling. A question came up during the visit, and I reached out for an answer and received a very rapid and most helpful answer. We started the trip knowing we needed to "just get away and to do without a care" and that's what we got...partly because the Vineyard is so nice but also because the property is so nice. The location is convenient to so many things just, yet again, making for a relaxing stay. I tell you: next time I am on the Vineyard, I am staying here!

We had such a marvelous time at this house! We had tons of space for six people, spanning three generations. The kids (5 and 3) played nonstop in the play area; everyone had privacy; we enjoyed the fabulous kitchen/grill, and especially the outdoor lounge area and hammock. Access to Lambert's Cove is a must for our MV vacations, but this might be our favorite vacation rental so far (out of 5)!

We just came back from a week in this wonderful home. The house was large enough to meet our needs. We are a family of 5 with kids age 10, 9 and 7. Our parents came for two nights, and there was enough space for us all. We really enjoyed the outside space....the yard is huge and the bike path is right in the back yard so we took advantage of that.

The home was very clean and updated. We really liked this location being so central to any part of the island. The beds were very comfortable, and the ceiling fans and large sliding doors in the bedrooms and living area made the house very breezy and nice for sleeping. We were worried we would be hot with no ac but were pleasantly surprised how cool the house felt. We had so much fun in MV and will definitely be back next year! Worth every penny.

We stayed here for our first family vacation with 5 adults 2 toddlers and a dog. It was a beautiful, spacious house. When we stayed, a tropical storm was just off shore, which kept us inside a couple days which was fine. There were games and toys, so no one minded. The kids loved the swing set. Every morning, that was the first place they went while breakfast was prepared. We had an aspiring cook in our party, so large sit down breakfasts and dinners were an everyday thing, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, serveware, and cookware. An added bonus was baby proofing, outlet covers and a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs. The house was centrally located so visiting every part of the island was a breeze. Private and quiet. Every night we came home, there was always wildlife to be seen, deer, rabbits, and turkeys which the kids loved. We visited Lamberts Cove our last two nights for the beautiful sunsets and a late swim. By far the best beach on the island. The pictures don't do this place justice. The decor was lovely, and all the rooms were huge. Lots of closet space in each room. Highly recommend this home to everyone.

We could not have asked for a more perfect family vacation home on Martha's Vineyard. It was a hit with us and our three young boys!! They especially loved the Playscape, spacious backyard, and the close proximity to the bike path (it's literally steps from the yard). Upon waking, my boys ran right to the backyard to swing and climb and play. The house was clean and spacious and perfectly laid out for a young family. The outdoor shower and patio furniture were a big bonus. We dined outside almost every evening. The kitchen is well-equipped making meal preparation easy. All of the appliances were relatively new and totally spotless. The property is so private you cannot see or hear a neighbor. (And hopefully, no one could hear us :) The home is centrally located, so no spot on the island is too far. We loved traveling into the various towns but were glad we could return to a quieter part of the island at the end of the day. We visited several beaches, Long Point Preserve being our favorite. We enjoyed swimming in the association pool as well. Jean was easy to reach via email and always responded in a timely fashion. We loved our stay.

Had a wonderful experience with renting this home. The owner was very responsive and helpful with the many questions I had before we arrived....best beaches, restaurants, activities for children, etc. The house was very clean and easy to keep clean. The photos of the rooms give a good idea of what to expect, but the quality of everything is better than anticipated. There was no lack of towels, dishes, pots/pans...and again, quality better than good.

The central location on island was a perfect home base to explore up & down The elements that drew us to rent this home: the patio, play area, pool access, bike path - ended up insignificant to us...we had a great time nonetheless. This house has a lot to offer, more than listing shares!!!!

Our family first rented this property in the summer of 2012 for 1 week and we had such a lovely time that we rented it again in the summer of 2013 for 2 weeks! The home is updated with a higher end kitchen, appliances and decor. While decorated very nicely, it is still cozy enough for a family with 2 kids (a young teen and junior teen) to enjoy without feeling like you were in a museum. In fact, our family loved spending time together in the family room and sharing meals around the table or out on the patio. The location is private but not secluded. We loved the amenities that come with the home -- bedding and thick towels among them. The children enjoyed visiting the pool. By far, a huge draw for us for this property is the private beach at Lambert's Cove. We visited there often and cherished the white sand, beautiful water and splendor of that part of the island! We love the location of this home to access uptown and downtown and the warm feeling of being in the town of West Tisbury where we have run into celebrities, and run 5K races in the neighboring town. Vacationing at this home allows us to enjoy our active lifestyle as well as shopping, sightseeing and relaxation. This home is kept very clean and the grounds are lovely. The pictures do not actually reflect how nice this home is...which is actually okay because when you get there, you get a superb and splendid surprise!

My sister and I just spent an incredible week on the Vineyard with her three children. We were thrilled with the house from the moment we arrived. The owners have gone out of their way to make it as guest friendly as possible, and we had everything we needed for a great vacation. The house is spotless and very well laid out so that there is plenty of room for relaxing. The backyard contains a deck and a fabulous wooden swingset that the children could not get enough of. The house is in a secluded area, and very private, but close enough to the main road that it was never difficult to get to town. We have been coming to the Vineyard for 50 years, and this is definitely a place I would return to.

I guess all good things must come to an end, and so we're beginning our preparation for our departure tomorrow. We had a glorious week- due in no small measure to our stay in your spacious and comfortable home. It truly was a great week and we do love the house. We are hoping to return next year....

"I’ve had the pleasure of staying at a number of great MV places over the years and this is my favorite. It strikes a wonderful balance of cozy cottage ambiance with the modern conveniences of home. Its living spaces are warm and inviting, the sun drenched cottage kitchen inspires you to whip up your own island special. The large, flat back yard perfect for volleyball, badminton or crochet and right on the bike path! The bedrooms each have their own personality and provide a relaxing island retreat. You cannot go wrong choosing MV any time of year and staying here will make your island get-a-way extra special!"
