We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marcy's beautiful home in West Tisbury. It felt more like staying at a friend's house, rather than a generic rental. Marcy was the perfect host, responding quickly to any questions we had and providing recommendations and info about the island throughout the week. The house was pristine, well-appointed and exactly as described with all the comforts of home - comfortable beds and linens, a/c throughout, strong WiFi signal, EVERYTHING you could need for the beach, a thoughtful welcome basket and some basic provisions to get us started, plus lots of comfortable indoor and outdoor living spaces including a beautiful deck off the primary bedroom, a great patio for outdoor dining, a farmer's porch to sip and drink your morning coffee, and a beautiful and unique outdoor shower PLUS an outdoor clawfoot tub. The community pool was a short walk from the house and a great option when you just wanted to take a quick dip to cool off. The chicken coop was an extra treat, providing roughly 1-3 fresh eggs a day. The location is perfect - quiet and peaceful but a short drive to the West Tisbury Farmers Market, Lambert's Cove Beach, Cronig's Market, Scottish Bakehouse and Vineyard Haven, among other things. The beach pass for Lambert's Cove Beach was a bonus. There are lots of great beaches to visit on the island but LCB is especially nice because it's private and doesn't get overcrowded like some of the public beaches like State Beach and South Beach. (Plus it's a really beautiful beach) I would also be remiss if I didn't mention that our rental included a car ferry reservation (not sure if this is the case for all rental weeks), which was a huge plus because car reservations book up fast so to not have to worry about that detail was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next summer!

We returned for a second summer in West Tisbury! We once again loved this summer getaway for families. We enjoyed all the things from last summer - fresh eggs from the chickens, ample outdoor space for playing catch, access to the neighborhood pool and Lambert's Cove beach, outdoor porcelain tub and shower, well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill - and we enjoyed some new things this summer, like the West Tisbury Farmer's Market. The owner is very responsive and helpful, and the property is perfect. This is the first vacation we've repeated, and it did not disappoint (again).

This was our second year staying at this beautiful house, and we hope to stay many more times! The house is a perfect mixture of elegant and comfortable - beautiful decorated, with every amenity provided and thoughtful additions to make guests feel right at home. Our kids loved visiting the chickens every day to collect fresh eggs! There are several peaceful places to sit and read outside, which is something we love to do on vacation - including an upper deck where you feel like you're sitting in the trees.

The location on the island is perfectly positioned to access all parts of Martha's Vineyard. And, it has access to Lambert's Cove beach, which is our favorite beach on the island. The access to the neighborhood association pool is also a huge win on vacation!

Marcy is an incredible host - very clear and easy communicator, incredibly welcoming, and has created a vacation house that truly feels like home to guests. Highly recommend this rental!

This house was in great location; clean, comfortable, all the amenities you need, with great hosts- they made us feel welcome like we were part of their extended family using the home. Can't wait to go back in the fall again!

From the moment we walked in this home made our Marha's Vineyard family vacation dream. Stylish but super comfortable. Fully stocked. Beautiful outdoor space including self-sufficient pen of chickens. No work but available for the kids to visit and feed! Access to community pool. Easy drive to all the best areas and there's some great stuff in West Tisbury too like the Farmer's Marketevery. Lease allows for parking pass to private beach. Owner was super communicative and lively to deal with.

This home is absolutely magical. Marcy and her family have thought of everything and more. The outdoor space has everything you could want - grill, patio, porch, deck off the master bedroom, hammock, outdoor shower and tub, tree swing, and yard. Our kids LOVED the chickens - bringing them our scraps from dinner and excitedly looking for eggs.
The house itself has everything you could need - two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs, a well-stocked kitchen, dining and living areas, and lots of family games. They have everything you could think of for the beach - towels, chairs, games, coolers, umbrella, etc. For those less familiar with the Vineyard, the location was private and central to everything. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the neighborhood pool, and we got a Lambert's Cove pass easily enough on our first day there. Marcy herself was an excellent host, and we hope to return!

We have rented several houses on Martha's Vineyard over the years, and this was by far our favorite. Marcy's house is welcoming, clean, and comfortable with an exceptional yard and peaceful outdoor spots to relax. The house has so many things that make a vacation easier - games and activities for the kids, a lovely hammock, corn hole, beach towels and chairs, and a very well stocked kitchen. Our kids loved waking up to gather, fresh eggs from the chickens each day! We love this part of the island because it's not too far of a drive to whichever town you'd like to go to, and has access to our favorite beach, Lambert's Cove. On top of that, having a pool to swim in each day was a huge benefit! Marcy's home is thoughtfully decorated to make a very comfortable stay - felt like a home away from home. And, Marcy is a fantastic host and communicator, both ahead of and during our stay.

We just finished a two-week stay here and we enjoyed our time in this home. The amenities and condition of the home are as advertised. From the side patio, front porch, hammock, there are many places to relax on the property as well as work, play and entertain guests.

Unlike some properties we've experienced, the air conditioning units keep the home cool on those hot and humid days and the wi-fi is robust and reliable. The home is minutes from OB, VH and EDG such that you're not too far from the action and any of the beaches. Plus the home has a drop-off pass for Lambert's Cove Beach and you can buy a full one for $50 with your lease.

More than anything, Marcy and Jim are superb hosts. Marcy provided a welcome basket with food and spirits that made us truly feel welcomed. We were so touched by their hospitality, we extended and they accepted our invitation to come to our cookout we hosted during the first week we were in MV. They even helped out with the grilling and cooking. Truly wonderful people who make you feel at home and part of the community.

We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this property -- from a thoughtful and generous welcome basket to the brand new beach towels and perfectly stocked kitchen, this place had everything we needed and more! Close to Lamberts Cove and Tisbury conveniences, but super quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed having access to fresh eggs from the chickens and being able to hop into the association pool for a quick dip if we couldn't make it to the beach, and the side porch & patio for grilling were great. Marcy is lovely and communication was easy. Would definitely recommend!!

This house was great for our family. The owners were very accommodating and the place was clean and perfect for our family.

My family and I loved staying here. The location is ideal. We loved being an easy drive either up or down island. My kids love going to Oak Bluffs, and it was great to be able to drive down and spend the day in the hustle and bustle, but then retreat back to the house after for a quiet evening on the patio! We'd even make the drive down after dinner to grab an ice cream, back door doughnut, or late night slice of pizza.
We also loved spending the day at gorgeous Lamberts Cove Beach, stopping for groceries at Up Island Cronigs, and heading home to grill. The location really is so convenient to all MV has to offer, and you don't even need to leave the neighborhood for it! The association pool is fantastic, and we loved using the tennis courts and bike paths when we wanted a full day without even leaving the neighborhood.
Waking up with coffee on the porch or patio, running out to bring back breakfast from the Scottish Bakehouse or Black Dog Cafe, was the perfect way to start the day.
The house itself is great. Very comfortable and well kept with everything you need to have an ideal Vineyard experience. We loved the retreat setting of the home, the yard for games, patio for hanging out, and the authentic Vineyard feel.
The homeowners were kind, responsive, and easy to deal with. We can't wait to return and highly recommend the spot to other visitors.
