Marthas Vineyard is a unique destination, it is complete with charm, history, beautiful beaches,trails, great restaurants and glorious sunsets. After renting on the island for more than 40 years we finally bought our own place. 2024 is our first rental season!
The house is located in the center of West Tisbury, within walking distance to Alleys General store, 7A, the library and Grange hall which hosts the weekly artisans fair and other events. The main Agricultural Hall home of the weekly farmers market, and the AG Fair in August is .8 miles from home. Sepiessa Point Reservation which a short car ride or bike ride away, has many walking trails and access to Tisbury Great Pond. Lamberts Cove beach is 4 miles away.
The entrance to the house is a breezeway, on the right doors lead to the primary suite.This suite has a beautiful stone fireplace, a nook with a desk and bookcases,a bathroom with walk in shower, soaking tub, and double sink vanity. Above the primary suite is a guest suite which will be used as owners storage space. On the left of the breezeway is the eat in kitchen, living room, and bathroom. The living room has a fireplace,TV, card table with puzzles and games available. The kitchen and living room have french doors that open to a wisteria covered porch with several rocking chairs. Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms and a full bath. The bedrooms can easily accommodate the roll out twin bed.
The back yard is a full acre of flat yard with a vegetable garden and blueberry bushes. It is a fun place to set up the badminton net and play a few rounds.

    Hello
    We have been coming with our family to Martha's Vineyard for over 40 years. We lived in Cambridge MA for many years, then moved to the San Francisco bay area where we lived for 30 years. However, we returned every summer to see family in New England and to stay on the Vineyard. It was a lifelong dream of ours to live here.
    We have 2 grown daughters, one lives on the Vineyard with her husband and almost 3 yo son, and the other in Portland ME.
    Richard is a retired pediatric doctor, and I am a retired nurse.
    We have rented homes on the Vineyard for many years and we are pleased to offer you our place.
