55 year summer resident of Nantucket Island. The kids, and now grandkids have worked on the island in what seems like every job possible! To me, Nantucket has the most beautiful beaches and the most magical sunsets ever! We love to spending summer on the water and at the beaches. I'm happy provide my list of favorites on the Island, all off the beaten track, from best bike rides, best beaches, best ice cream, best place for a cocktail, best sandwich shop, you name it! We hope you will consider our Quahog Cottage for you family summer vacation!

What is special about this property?
We love our Quahog Cottage and our quiet little neighborhood and we love our neighbors. It is a mix of year-round resident's and long term summer resident's. If you are looking for a safe, quiet and respectful community to vacation in, Fishers Landing is it! Our home art filled home is restful and offers plenty of room for family game nights or a quiet corner to read in. The back deck is where we spend a lot of time, BBQ'ing, playing in the yard, corn hole, badminton, wiffle ball, etc. The outdoor shower is one of my most favorite parts of the house, its private with views of the yard and stars at night! There are nature walks literally right outside the front door, the moors path to the North Shore is amazing! There is a secluded mowed nature walking trial that circles the neighborhood that evokes secret gardens and woodland fairies! The tennis courts are an amazing perk of the community and the free shuttle bus, The Wave, makes it so easy to get into town or other parts of the island. Truly, you don't even need a car!
