The weather is warming up, our favorite restaurants are finally open, and sweet summertime is right around the corner! Check out these awesome events happening on Martha's Vineyard in June.

Annual Cross-Island Hike

Where: Long Point Wildlife Refuge, Long Point Rd., West Tisbury MA

Join The Land Bank June 3rd at 8:00 a.m. for their annual Cross-Island Hike! Take to the trails and soak in the breathtaking natural beauty of the island. Make sure to bring lots of sunscreen and water!

Oak Bluffs Open Market: Sundays in the Park

Washington Park, Chapman Avenue, Oak Bluffs MA

Happening every Sunday from June 4th - October 8th, Oak Bluffs Open Market features incredible live music, delicious food, beautiful bouquets, vintage antiques, and so much more!

Blooming Art 2023

Where: The Old Mill, 690 Edgartown-West Tisbury Rd., West Tisbury MA

Blooming Art is the Martha's Vineyard Garden Club's biggest fundraiser of the year, and is modeled after the Boston Museum of Fine Arts "Art in Bloom" show. The BMOFA's annual celebration of floral arrangements is inspired by the museum's many masterpieces and Blooming Art event mirrors that Boston event.

Cape Poge Discovery Tour

Where: Cape Poge Wildlife Refuge, Dike Rd., Chappaquiddick MA

Explore Cape Poge's magnificent barrier beach and wildlife refuge on an open-air, over-sand adventure. Learn about the rare and protected flora and fauna that make their home on the sandy shoreline, expansive salt marsh, beautiful salt pond, and unique colony of red cedars. Make sure to pack everything you need including sunscreen, water, and snacks for this outdoor adventure!

LGBTQ+/Pride in OB

Where: Oak Bluffs, Circuit Ave, Oak Bluffs MA

The Second Annual LGBTQ+ Pride Parade and Drag Queen brunch weekend starts with a Parade down Circuit avenue, ends in Ocean Park. Music by The Femmes, after-parade band, information resource tables. There will be dancing in the streets!

The Annual Juneteenth Jubilee Cultural Festival

Where: Trinity Park Tabernacle, 80 Trinity Park, Oak Bluffs MA

Juneteenth Jubilee Festival kicks off at 12:30 p.m. with the Juneteenth Flag Raising Ceremony and leads into a full day of culture. Learn more about Martha's Vineyard history; join for a fireside chat with Pulitzer Prize winner Nikole Hannah-Jones, and continue with cultural performances by Grammy Award-winning jazz pianist Christian Sands; world-renowned actress Lynn Whitfield; founder of Rock Noire, musician/vocalist Grace Gibson; harpist Tulani, local performers Sean and Siren; and more.

Oak Bluffs Harbor Festival
