A beloved Cape Cod tradition, First Night Chatham is a family-friendly, alcohol-free, town-wide celebration of the arts — featuring more than 70 performances and events.
Festivities begin with the Town Photo at the Chatham Lighthouse at Noon followed by both indoor and outdoor activities throughout the afternoon and evening. The celebration peaks with the joyful Noise Parade and fireworks at Veterans Field, and continues with performances until the festivities wrap up at 10 PM.
December 26, 2025 – January 1, 2026
First Light Provincetown is the grand finale to the holiday season at the tip of the Cape. Throughout the week, enjoy live performances, fine art, festive shopping, and delicious dining all along Commercial Street.
The highlight of the celebration is the New Year’s Eve drone show launching from MacMillan Pier. If the weather cooperates, the best views are from the beach by the pier — but you can also watch from nearby bars, clubs, and restaurants with decks and indoor seating.
And if you’re feeling bold, kick off 2026 with the annual Polar Bear Plunge on New Year’s Day!
