About Cask Release at Cape Cod Beer...We like to whip up a little something special every month at Cape Cod Beer! Casks are limited release beers and are only available at the brewery for tastes & pints while supplies last – generally no more than two days!

Why is cask (sometimes referred to as ‘Real Ale’) so special?

1) A cask is different from a traditional keg and allows the beer to be conditioned and served.
2) Cask beer has a different fermentation process that creates a unique flavor and texture.
3) Cask beer is always unfiltered & unpasteurized. It’s a living product with a short shelf life, difficult to transport and therefore a rare find!
