About The Children’s Beach Family Picnic...The Children’s Beach Family Picnic—a mini-festival in itself—holds court downtown from 1-3 PM. Bring a blanket and some lunch, and enjoy a FREE concert while you "nosh." Balloon animals, storytelling by "Pirate Robin", and free rides in the Nantucket Hotel's antique fire truck make for a delightful afternoon. Satisfy your inner sleuth by participating in the Chamber's weekend-long, family-friendly Scavenger Hunt with clues cleverly hidden throughout the Downtown. Three lucky teams will be eligible to win Festival merchandise!
