About Nantucket Preservation Trust August Fete...On August 10th from 6-8 PM The Nantucket Preservation Trusts hosts the August Fête an event that is meant to encourage the preservation of Nantucket’s historic homes. The evening will include a tour of some of the island’s architecture and neighborhoods. Then the 12th annual celebration begins under tent at the historic Mill Street, across from the pony field. Entertainment will be by the local Chuck Colley Band and will be accompanied by Spankey’s Raw Bar as well as the Nantucket Catering Company. Tickets are on sale now, come get a glimpse of Nantucket’s rich past.
