About Rising Tide Writers Reading at Brooks Free Library, Harwich...Select members of The Rising Tide Writers of Cape Cod will be talking about and reading from their writings, some of which are included in their 2016 Anthology. This event is free.

The Rising Tide Writers (RTW) are a diverse group of prose
writers and poets who meet weekly at Brooks Free Library to share their writing and, in a supportive and positive atmosphere, offer constructive critique. The group has been meeting continuously for over ten years. Many of the members have published articles or short stories, and 11 have published books that are currently available as e-books and/or hard-copies that can be found in local book stores, libraries, or online. Some members also offer their skills as copy editors, proof readers, copy writers, and artistic designers.
You can get more information about the RTW at their website www.risingtidewriters.jimdo.com, where almost every writer has his or her own page. There you’ll find, along with some personal information, short stories, articles, essays, excerpts from published books and from works-in-progress.
The writers who are scheduled to read on October 14 are:
Rick Fordyce
Joyce Phillips
Finbarr Corr
Ingrid Stabins or Sebastian Mudry
Ed Cottier
Peter Borowski
Francoise Webb
Rachel Crosby
