  • From State Road in Vineyard Haven, turn onto Main Street (left or right, depending on which way you come up or down State Road).
  • Drive through shopping area on Main Street and turn left on Woodlawn Avenue.
  • At the end of Woodlawn Avenue, turn left on Franklin and pass two houses on the left. See tall stonewalls and arches on the left. (Do not enter -- very narrow.)
  • Fourway Carriage House stands to the right of the last stone wall/arch.
  • Park across the street from the Fourway building on Franklin. You will see a small Fourway sign at the 2nd floor level on the right side of the building.
  • Cross over Franklin Street to the short stonewall Fourway entrance and sidewalk. At the barn-looking door straight ahead, walk into the front yard. Turn right, and go around corner of building. Continue straight back to the back yard, turn left, and enter the huge dark green doors to the covered courtyard.

  • From Rte. 28/Palmer Avenue southbound: After the stop light at the intersection with Jones Road and the Falmouth Hospital, take the 6th left onto Katherine Lee Bates Rd. The parking lot for Falmouth Museums on the Green is approximately 200 yards on the right, across from the baseball field. If it’s full, use the adjacent parking lot of the Congregational Church.
  • From Rte. 28 westbound: Follow Rte. 28 through Falmouth Center, and bear right at the fork just after the Post Office and before the Falmouth Green. Falmouth Museums on the Green is about 200 yards on the right, just beyond the Congregational Church.

  • From Route 6 heading east: Take exit 10. Take a left at the end of the ramp onto Route 124. Take Route 124 for approximately 2-1/2 miles to Route 6A. Turn Right on Route 6A and proceed 2 miles. You’ll see the fields and sign on your left.
