In a large, open and sunny yard at the end of a cul-de-sac surrounded by privet hedges and spectacular hydrangea bushes, you'll find peace, quiet and tranquility that one can only find in 'Sconset. The house is a two story white-washed post and beam furnished with a mix of antiques and beach house furniture. High ceilings downstairs, wide plank pine floors, many windows and three sets of French doors opening to two decks give the home a decidedly airy and fresh feeling during the summer. From upstairs you can see the ocean and the beautiful open vista provided by Low Beach Road. An upstairs office space with fax/copier and wireless broadband internet allow you to check in with work when necessary. Whether sitting in Adirondack chairs in the front lawn sipping a cocktail as the sun sets, or sharing meals on the back deck under a market umbrella, you're sure to find a bit of heaven here.

   FURTHER DESCRIPTION

When not enjoying the house, Sconset Village is just a 5-minute walk away with the Sconset Market, small wine store, post-office and restaurants ranging from an upscale outdoor bar on the beach (the Summer House), to fine dining (Sconset Cafe; Chanticleer). Movies play regularly at the old Sconset Casino, which dates to late 1800's.

To get into Nantucket town (7 miles away) with shopping, historical sites, ferries, restaurants, etc. you don't need a car. The bus runs regularly from Sconset with three bus routes and a $2 fare each way. There are also two paved, off-road bike paths connecting Sconset to town: Milestone Road and Polpis Road bike paths.
