West Dennis Beach, Cape Cod

If you are visiting the Dennis area, West Dennis Beach is definitely worth a stop. It's a classic Cape Cod beach with soft sand, plenty of space to spread out and the view of Nantucket sound is gorgeous. Parking is very convenient, restrooms are nearby and there is a snack bar offering a family friendly menu featuring classic beach fare as well as local seafood specialties.

The beach is very large. We enjoyed daily morning walks on the beach and collecting many seashells.

Wonderful long beach and parking. No "trudge" to beach from parking area. Most convenient with children and all of the toys and beach "equipment".

This was always our go to beach growing up, right down the street from Sundae School. We were used to always tiptoeing around all the broken seashells, but shockingly this visit the beach was so much cleaner, less seaweed, less broken seashells. We stayed longer than we imagined, and my son asked to go back multiple times during our stay. Closer to where we stayed Craigsville, was a close second.

You can park right next to the beach and there is plenty of parking. Makes it much easier to load and unload the cars for a nice beach set up! The water is warm and not rough at all.

Paid for parking $30 but was worth it, restrooms were easy access and a clean beach with nice sand!!

We loved this beach! Long stretch great for walking and perfect for catching the sunset.

lots of parking very close to beach,bathrooms and snack bar,small waves,warm water,cool kite and windsurfer watching at end of strip. Bay beach at end of beach for very calm swimming,great for little ones.

They have a large parking lot, handicapped accessible ramps, outdoor shower, and snack bar.
