West Dennis Beach, Cape Cod

Tons of parking and space on the beach, water is warm, snack bar and restrooms on the beach as well. Plus the Sand Bar is right there!

We loved the beach. We should have gotten there earlier, however, as we did have to wait in a line for about 45min. (It was 4th of July weekend also) After that, parking was easy and beach was beautiful.

Mile long. Clean, bathrooms. A nice place for morning stroll.

Ample parking close to the sand, short walk to water & close to the house. Go early or late to avoid the crowds.

This was a great beach! They had amenities at the end of the beach; Restrooms, changing facility and a small snack bar. Although I did not travel with children there was a few swings there that kids were enjoying. The only issue for me was the amount of seaweed but this may be a Cape Cod issue.

The beach was wonderful - our new favorite at the Cape! It was an easy, quick walk, it was not overcrowded and provided a snack bar, restrooms and swing set. The beach itself is a long beautiful stretch and a very relaxing setting. On the 4th of July we were able to walk down to the beach and watch amazing fireworks in every direction! We will definitely rent in this area again!

We have always loved West Dennis Beach. We find private little areas to sit and on a windy day can watch the kite surfers. Great place to walk.

Parking and unloading so easy here. Great when you have little ones and all of their equipment.

I liked the beach alot. It is on the ocean side so there is a little bit of seaweed.

Easy to get to, lots of parking, restrooms and snack bar. Good for children to wade and dig in sand.

We go here because it's never crowded. One less star for the copious seaweed and for the rocky as heck beach (buy beach shoes, they are worth it). Otherwise, the sand is beautiful and the sunrises/sunsets are amazing. This is by far the best beach to watch a full moon rise. We've been hooked since 2013.

Easy parking, low surf, plenty of space and nice and long stretch of beach and very long parking lot where many come to run and walk in the morning.

There is plenty of room for many people and you are not on top of each other for room. Great beach for walking. Many shells

A beautiful long beach for swimming and walking. Bass River is at the end of this beach and extra feature is the viewing of windsurfers during the late afternoon.

W. Dennis Beach: Easy to get there..easy to park..easy access to beach..kept very clean.

This beach is great because there's almost always parking. It's also spacious so that you don't feel like other beachgoers are right on top of you. There are bathrooms and a food stand.

Parking didn't fill up so fast, close to the ocean, little sea weed at the shore but warm and everyone enjoyed it!

I have been coming to the Cape each summer, nie on 45 years, and I never tire of this beach. Warm Water, nice waves, not overly crowed and always near our rental.

We loved the waves and large beach for walking.

While I LOVE the beaches on the Outer Cape, we choose to drive a short 5 minutes to West Dennis Beach. There's a new restroom facility and outdoor shower near the end, and typically the beach is not crowded at all. And, great sand! We purchased a week's pass at Town Hall on Saturday morning and used the beach every day, so parking was less than $11/day.

Parking at the beach is $20. The beach is lovely with plenty of parking while we were there. The parking is Right next to the beach for easy loading and unloading of your car. The beach is well guarded and the sand great..

I grew up playing on West Dennis Beach and love sharing that with my children and grandchildren. There are always lots of shells and treasures to collect, fun waves and a bath house.

The beach is very clean and there is ample parking. The sail boarders are so much fun to watch.

We went to a number of beaches on our stay but this one was easily accessible with a toddler....drive right up rather than having to carry everything across long parking lots.

Quite beach. Public bathrooms, showers & dressing rooms. Food, drinks, ice cream etc... Ample parking. Swings for the kids.

So easy! Just pull up your car and unload just feet from the sand and water. The ocean tends to be calm and like a pool some days.

West Dennis Beach has wonderful sand, spots to fly a kite and is great for a brisk walk. Bathrooms are available in multiple places and if you don't pack a lunch, there is a snack bar.

The Beach is perfect for families with young children. The water is warm and the are not too many waves. There are showers, a supper snack bar and playground for the kids. Very clean.

I think this was the beach - long and narrow - great for walking, both on the beach and along the adjacent parking lot, with views of the ocean and the inlet. Fantastic to watch the kite/wind surfing. Enjoyed the boat ride on the river.

biking distance, snack shack, play ground all on the beach. nice drop off area to drive the family and bike back to avoid parking fees.
