We love visiting in the off season, when dogs are allowed on the beach and like walking the tidal flats.

I'm from the area originally and love Old Silver Beach but it tends to get crowded now. I like Surf Drive Beach as it's less crowded and has clean bathrooms, snack bar and it's bikeable to the town center shops, restaurants and bars. You can also ride the bike path directly from here along the ocean.
